The house was just as described perfect for family we all enjoyed.
Fast response from owner when we arrived and lock box which was probably user error but fast response and we got inside.

House was very nice in a rural area, exactly as advertised. Check in process was very easy. Very clean rental. We had a great trip. My only issues were I couldn’t get the TV to work and the internet connection was spotty but worked well when connected.

Wonderful welcoming home for our group of 8, young adults, parents and grandparents. Beautiful kitchen to prepare our meals together, large lawn for games Close to Sebago Lake.

My group of 4 adults and 4 kids stayed for 4 nights. We relaxed in the large living room, cooked in the beautiful kitchen, enjoyed the location near the Ossipee Valley Music Festival. The kitchen could use a few items, specifically cup and spoon measures, but we found it to be very functional and inviting.

Beautifully done/remodel interior with plenty of rooms! Second time staying there for 2 of the 4 that stayed this year! Maybe it will be a new tradition who knows!!

Property was accurately described. Owner was very nice and responded when we had questions. The internet was very slow.

The house was even more beautiful in person than in the listing! The kitchen could be a little bit better stocked with kitchen utensils and pans, etc. but other than that, it was great! We had no trouble finding it on Google maps.

This house was great for the family size of 8. The kitchen was open and had most of what we needed. The hosts were very responsive. We enjoyed our stay. A fairly easy drive into Portland also. Air conditioning for the main level needs a little boost. Great listing and met our expectations!

Just what we needed!
Perfect location and layout for our family of 4 adults and 3 young children. Close enough to Portland for day trips. We also drive as far as the Cog Train and Clark's Bears in NH. The layout of the house suited us too. Open concept for common rooms and the updated kitchen had all the supplies we needed. Check in was easy. With family nearby we will definitely rent here again.

Great Stay the weekend
Overall checking in and out was very easy. It was a great place to stay for NYE for me and a few friends. Close to a few ranges which my friends really enjoyed.

Authentic, rustic Maine experience
My family stayed here while attending a wedding nearby. There was plenty of room for everyone and we felt very comfortable there. The property is absolutely beautiful and conveniently located. It is a rustic older home with a lot of charm and character. We were 15 minutes from the wedding venue in Sebago and close to downtown Cornish, shops and restaurants.
The kitchen is well appointed, tons of pots and pans and dishes. We made breakfast for 6 people and had plenty of room for seating around the table. There is an eat in kitchen and a larger dining room, perfect for family meals. The living room is huge and there is a very big comfy sofa and chair for family gatherings. The fourth bedroom is actually a den with a pull-out sofa bed and a whole wall of books, which was the perfect spot for my daughter, who loves to read.
Probably the best feature of the house is the wraparound farmer’s porch; we spent a lot of time out there looking at the beautiful scenery. At night you can hear crickets and peepers chirping.
If you are looking for a slice of classic Maine living, this property delivers! There are beautiful flowers and trees all around the property and amazing sunrises and sunsets.
If we had to say anything that needed improvement, the GPS directions to the property are incorrect, but that’s not the homeowner’s fault. There are two street addresses that are the same, and GPS defaults to the other address. Everyone who tried to find the house got a bit lost. However the property owner was very responsive and called us to give us the right directions and we easily found the house.
Also the water pressure at the house was a bit funky, but we figured it out. Keep in mind that it is an older house and every older house has its quirks. The trick was to let the water run for a bit. Having grown up in an older house, it really wasn’t a big deal to us.
Everyone enjoyed the house and we would definitely stay there again! It made our event more enjoyable to have a comfy place to rest and hang out together before and after the wedding.

Beautiful home
The house was so clean, bright and welcoming. The hosts were very communicative and accommodating with all our questions leading up to our stay, and while there. We loved exploring the area and Sebago Lake. The beaches a bit further on the lake were better for our family, but it was only about a lovely 30minute drive (we loved Tassel Road beach). We were in striking distance of anything we needed, lots of farms and farm stands around, but it was also so nice to hang out at the house, and the wrap around porch at night, no need to venture far to enjoy Maine and the scenery.

Weekend geatway
Great location for a getaway with friends or family. The house was everything that it was promised to be. Property manager was very responsive.

Nice place
Nice place near Sebago. Only complaint is the lack of fans in the two smaller bedrooms. It doesn’t get hot very often or for long in Maine but some ceiling or window fans in those bedrooms would have been nice.

Our stay
Property was exactly what was stated in the profile. We had a lovely family reunion.
Washer took a very long time to fill and dryer does not turn off. Just an FYI

Beautiful Post and Beam
This beautiful home was clean, spacious and had enough beds to accommodate my family of 10 people. There is a full kitchen, 2 full baths and 1 half bath. There is a lovely screened in porch and a nice yard to play yard games. We brought our hammock and enjoyed lots of outside time. The house is located 10 minutes from Sebego Lake and 1 hour from Old Orchard Beach. Overall, I thought this house was a great deal. My only complaint would be the traffic noise.

Great Stay!
We had a great stay here! Property was clean and just like the photos! The Host was very attentive and accommodating!!! The only thing to keep in mind is there is no A/C so it will be a little hot if visiting in the summer (nothing some open windows cant fix though!)!

High expectations for the price.
This home is beautiful and has great potential. However we left early because we couldn’t bare another night.
- location is 3.5miles past where it states it is. So we were not close to the riding trails as we liked, we had to load up our atvs and drag them to the whistle stop each time.
-the house is infested with ants and other bugs.
-mice droppings are all over and we heard them at night.
-the grass was so long we couldn’t use the yard. We all kept finding ticks on us and in the house.
-there was no fire pit outside.
-no water pressure at all. Could only use one shower at a time.
-takes 3.5hours to wash clothes and the dryer does not turn off.
- mater tub clogged up each time.
- mater toilet looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months.
- my family is allergic to pets so we liked that the rental said no pets, however we all were dying as if a dog had been there. There are stains all over the carpets leaving us to think it was dog urine.
-ceiling fan in master doesn’t work.
-no outside water source.
- sprinkler system is empty, being useless.
-outside grill would have been nice.
-the garage was full of stuff making it uncomfortable to put our stuff in because we didn’t want to touch their stuff.
-bathroom trash cans didn’t have bags in them.
-the couch is very uncomfortable.
-the refrigerator struggled to hold temp.
-all beds are uncomfortable.
