We have stayed in the connecting unit and decided to try this side since there were fewer with us. It was just as nice! The kitchen was great as well as the location. King Fisher does a great job!

The Donax was an amazing getaway! We traveled with our extended family ages 6 through 85 and the house was a great fit for everyone! The location cannot be beat! The beach could not be closer and made it so easy to go back and forth throughout the day without have to schlep all of your things! Definitely a win for parents of small children! The home was also well equipped with everything you could possibly need for pool and beach. We look forward to returning in the future!

Beautiful property, although we were surprised that it was a “ duplex”. We did not ever see that on the listing at all. All was fine with that luckily. Easy, breezy walk across the street to the beach. I think the cleaning of the home could have been better. I vacuumed the rugs after arrival,. It appeared to me that someone had a dog inside on a previous visit. I also cleaned the kitchen sink which had mold around the drain. The ceiling fan in the first living room did not work and the ceiling fan in the living room with the tv did not have light cover which made the light to harsh when on. The master bath shower needs to have caulk replaced as it leaks and the shower head needs to be replaced as it is just a fine spray spitting at you thus requiring a longer use of water for showers . The upstairs bathroom has a broken towel rod/rack and there was a drawer missing from a dresser in upstairs bedroom with 2 beds. We had a great vacation nonetheless and I looked forward to a beautiful sunset every evening.

Such a wonderful location, and the home is so comfortable with plenty of room to spread out and with wonderful views. The property manager was so easy to contact and helpful. We loved it there.

We have enjoyed our stay there each time we come. We typically come with a wide range of ages from young to "experienced". The unit is always well equipped and comfortable. Having easy access to the beach and Pine Island Sound as well as the pool is our main reason for choosing the location. The only thing that would make our stay a little easier since we are a fishing family and bring a boat is to have a fish cleaning station at the dock and an additional post to make securing the boat easier and safer. We look forward to our next stay there.

We have been coming here for several years with Family and Friends. It's an absolutely a great way to spend a vacation. Captiva Beach Villa Donax is always so cheerful and inviting to come to. We have never had any issues staying there. The beach is beautiful! We could just spend hours walking, shelling & taking pictures. We also can not miss those breathtaking Sunsets in the evenings. Then to top the night off its so relaxing to go to the pool and spa or just sit on the deck and listen to the waves. We love it here so much. Its like our second home. We will continue to come and stay here for as long as we can.

The villa is beautifully decorated, the beds are so comfortable, the kitchen is stocked with everything that we needed to cook. The villa was spotless inside, and the property is maintained beautifully. Can't wait to go back!

What a wonderful place! The description and pictures are exactly what you get when you decide to visit here. The condo was clean and easily accommodated 8 of us (including two babies). For anyone that has tried a beach vacation with babies, they know the hassles of dragging everything to and from the beach. That is virtually eliminated here with the location and accommodations at the condo. Great place for adult getaways or a family vacation with small children. We were able to swim with the dolphins every morning. We caught 9-15 pound redfish all day long in the bay. Sharks, Turtles, Stingrays, Manatees are all around in the bay. The local restaurants were great! Rum Bar, Key Lime Bistro, The Old Captiva House. We didn't have a bad meal anywhere! Lastly, it was a very easy and stress-free vacation. Very easy drive from the airport. Our family will be vacationing here again.

We rented the Donax for a week. It was awesome. The decor is very modern and absolutely beautiful. It is obvious that the owners take pride in their investment and it was well worth what we paid. The beds, including sheets, were so comfortable. The private beach was perfect and such a short walk from the front door. We watched the sun rise and set every day and I can't wait to go back. We ate breakfast and lunch in the condo and walked to dinner every night. I enjoyed the walk in the beautiful moonlight every night and the food on the island is so delicious. The ocean was amazing...the water was so clear, I could see my feet and it was as warm as bath water. We saw manatees, sting rays, starfish, sand dollars, fish... I could just go on and on. Thank you!

Villa Donax - Captiva Island, FL --- I highly recommend this condo and from what our neighbors said, the Conch is just as nice. This condo is top notch! We quickly discovered that no luxuries were spared in the Donax. It's very roomy with a large flat screen TV. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds and sheets are amazing! The beds slept better than our beds at home. The pool and hot tub are shared by 4 condos; but they are secluded and quiet and very relaxing. This place is very well kept. Our view from the kitchen and living room was the beautiful ocean with private beach. It was so nice to sit on the beach with our friends and not have to share the space with hundreds of strangers. The bay is behind the condo, down a little walking path and it is great for fishing. Oh, I almost forgot....we found awesome shells! We will be back!

We rented Captiva Beach Villa, Donax, for a week with 8 family members. It was just awesome. The location was great. It is across the street from the beach, but it was less that 100 yds. to the water from front door and the street was very light on traffic. Also close to town, maybe a half mile?? The beach in town was VERY crowded, so we were so glad that we were staying out of town where we had the beach practically to ourselves. Captiva Beach Villas are on the south side of town, so not too long of a drive to go to restaurants and activities on Sanibel.
The unit was decorated extremely nicely and is very large with 3 large bedrooms and small table in the eat-in kitchen and very large table in the dining room. It also has 2 large living areas. The master suite is huge. It is set up with everything you could need inside and out.
Captiva Beach Villas consist of only 4 units (2 duplexes) that share the nice sized pool and with the beach so close and the dock for fishing there was generally no one else (or only 1 other family) at the pool when we were. The pool is totally private from other properties with lush, beautiful landscaping surrounding it. You can pull a boat up to the dock, also.
The beach has no public parking anywhere close so it is basically private, as this is an area of no big hotels . We never had anyone set up closer that 50 yards to us on the beach, SO nice. The beach is also very shallow for a long way out so it is great for kids. We saw dolphins almost every day and the sunsets were breath takingly beautiful.
All in all, I couldn't imagine a more perfect set up than what the Donax and 3 other units at Captiva Beach Villas have to offer! The Donax inside was as nice as the setting outside. Did not see the inside of the other units. I would highly recommend this property!!
