Room was great, lots of space, bath as well as shower, very clean. Quiet location during the night. No idea on the food served though - see below.
Disappointed to turn up and be told "there's no breakfasts because it's winter". Don't advertise breakfasts on your website if you're not serving them at certain times of the year. Or offer a discount on the room. Also if you state that the restaurant is open until 7.45pm, when you turn up at 7.30pm after a long drive to be told that the kitchen is shut it's not good. And then the next night to get down for just before 7pm and still be told that the chef has closed the kitchen already is just the final joke. Such a disappointment after the lovely room.

I was in a recently refurbished room which was really well laid out with a comfy bed and very clean. Perfect after a 5 hour drive!
The bottles of water were a really nice touch I wasn't expecting, given the price of the accommodation.
The staff were superb; really welcoming and helpful.
Really good breakfast choices and very tasty!

A perfect little place, food was excellent and the staff could not have done enough for us and all were so very friendly and accomodating.
Only thing that we didn't like was that in our room we had no seats so had to sit on the bed

Very honest , friendly and clean. Hard-working owners are engaged in a programme of continuous improvement and witnessing their commitment more than covered for the odd imperfection.
No frills : but who cares !

Location to the continuation of my journey.
My room must have been directly above the bar.
When I rang earlier that evening to say I would be arriving slightly later than planned, I was told that a bonfire and firework display were taking place at the back of the property on the car park.
When the fireworks had finished the majority attending must have moved into the bar and the music started - this didn’t cease until 2330. Consequently it was very late before I got to sleep.
Having been up since 0600 and driving almost 300 miles I just wanted to get a good nights sleep before I continued my journey home.
To make things worse the central heating boiler was in my bathroom. The noise of the boiler repeatedly firing up work me up very early.
