About this house rental
The Cabana is perfectly situated that's just a short walk to the Admiral neighborhood or Alaska Junction, you have all of the benefits of city living at your back door while vacationing in a quaint neighborhood. The West Seattle community offers a lifestyle for every inclination and lifestyle. With it's active nightlife, beach activities and parks you can take in every conceivable activity. The Cascades are just 1hr drive away where you can ski, hike, fish and mountain bike. Take the local Water Taxi (foot ferry) from Alki beach/Harbor Ave or public transport to downtown Seattle. The home is ideally located without driving too deep into West Seattle and within close proximity to hitting the road and seeing the sights!
The two-story home has an open floor plan and vaulted ceiling for the dining, living and kitchen area to maximize every inch of it's 800sq feet. The space has a comfortable three person sofa, recliner, Roku streaming TV and electric fireplace that can used for ambiance and/or heat. Custom white washed planked flooring, wave-like tile work and ocean hues of light blue, gray and driftwood give one the sense that you are visiting a coastal cottage.
The kitchen has concrete quartz countertops, stainless appliances, tons of amenities, serviceware and a double oven with a separate French door pantry. The refrigerator has filtered water found inside it's doors and an icemaker. This opens to the main living area with a collapsible dining table to seat 4 and cozy fireplace with reclaimed wood surround and inset big screen TV. From there you have a peek-a-boo view of the snow-capped mountains and sparkling city lights.... and fireworks on the 4th!
The 2nd floor master bedroom has plenty of light with a new Sleep Innovations memory-foam queen sized bed, Roku streamingTV and closet. There are two full bathrooms with quartz countertops, seafoam colored bubble backsplash, pearlescent gray wavy tile floors and deep bathtubs. On the bottom floor you'll find one of the two bathrooms that sleeps two featuring a beach mural, trundle bed (twin bed drawer that pulls out from beneath regular twin bed) with sliding door access to the back porch, dining patio and yard.
The yard is a natural landscape of boulders, grasses, flowers and palms with a winding path that circles the home. Though it is not fenced the tucked dining patio is private.
Lots of street parking available as well as a designated parallel parking spot in front of the home's garage. Propane barbecue available for your use anytime. No AC in the home but a mobile unit is available upon request. This house stays pretty cool during the summer months because of all the windows and cross breezes. Floor fans are stored under the stairs and a travel crib is available upon request.

What a perfect rental for the 3 of us. The cabana was spotless and the decor is absolutely beautiful. Check-in was seamless and the hosts were responsive to any questions.
We biked to downtown and walked to Alki Beach. Also within walking distance are a ton of restaurants, Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s.

A very nice, comfortable Vrbo in West Seattle. Modern, up to date, and nicely located. Within walking distance to Alaska Junction and other main avenues. Very cozy with nice accents throughout. Felt like home. For instance, best bath towels I've ever had! Comfortable beds. Might be a bit crowded for over 4 -- the two of us were quite comfortable. Owners were not intrusive but ever accessible. Any questions were answered within minutes. Definitely on our list to return to on future visits to West Seattle.

We just spent 6 nights and this was a perfect spot for seeing all that the Seattle area had to offer. West Seattle shops and dining were all a long walk away (up and down those Seattle hills). Easy access to and from SeaTac airport and downtown. The place was great. Would definitely recommend and will stay there next trip if we can.

Great house
We were here to attend a family wedding with activities planned for a weekend. We extended our stay on the front end, so we wanted more space.
This house was perfect with views of the Seattle waterfront and a residential neighborhood feel.
Hoping that when W. Seattle Bridge repairs are completed, access will make this location convenient.

We have rented the second time from this owner. The house was perfect and was well equipped for our needs. Comfortable beds , nice showers and a lovely sitting area. It was close enough to walk to the shops and restaurants. We loved the house being light inside , especially on those dark and rainy days in Seattle. We were very comfortable and will definitely stay there again in future. Thank you.
