The cabin was great! We enjoyed it very much. It is well equipped. The property was very nice. We liked the creek on the edge of the property at the back. The cabin was very clean! I would stay there again!

It was the perfect house to stay with the whole family! We loved the privacy and all the house had to offer but also love being close to the little town of Helen! It was the perfect location.

Overall we enjoyed the property. We loved the location. We could be in Helen in minutes. The gas fireplace was very nice but the timer was annoying. It had to be reset about every 50 minutes. We didn't use the outside decks because the weather frigid. I would recommend the cabin. It's spacious for 4 adults. The gas grill was nice but the electronic starter didn't work. We had to start it by dropping a burning napkin onto the burners. The inside appliances were up to date and modern. The towels in the bathrooms were cheap and felt like sandpaper. The toilet paper was also cheap. We're glad we brought our own.

The process of booking/payment was very easy. The cabin was beautiful & decorated for Christmas perfectly. The pictures didn’t do this lovely home justice. We are already making plans to return during the summer & hopefully staying here again. I loved it!

This cabin is one of our favorites we’ve stayed in! The location is absolutely perfect! Despite one mattress needing to be replaced, we enjoyed this cabin very much. While we do love a wood burning fireplace, the gas fireplace was really convenient to pop on and off. We loved the hot tub (a must have for us on a mountain vacation) and the fire pit outside! The kids enjoyed the small creek and the gazebo as well! The kitchen was very clean and it was so nice that little extras like soap and paper towels were provided. (Many places don’t include these items.) Overall, we had a lovely stay!

This cabin was super cute and cozy. It was decorated simply for Christmas and very nice. The location was excellent. We loved the gas fireplace in the living room. The beds were very comfortable and the different seating areas were nice- living room, enclosed back porch, and screened porch. The appliances were new and in great shape. Nice dishwasher, fridge, stove and washer/dryer. Plenty of nice plates, cups, mugs, bowls for daily use. Very dog friendly, and plenty of pegs for hanging coats, leashes, etc. The reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was - we had a problem getting in with the access code, it worked after about 4 tries and then we couldn’t get it to work again. The Vacasa rep gave me the code to the lockbox to retrieve the actual keys- which was fine, but the key for the top lock was very hard to get out each time I used it. Also/ most of the pots and pans had nonstick coating that was in terrible shape. A 13x9 pan was very rusty. They just need to replace a few of those items. The remote for the back porch TV should be replaced. They should upgrade the dish cloths (they did a terrible job at drying dishes!), also leave more hot pads and/or trivets. I only found 2 potholders, and not knowing what type of counter material was in the kitchen, I did not want to place hot pans or pots directly on the counters. The front door should have a curtain on it. We wound up taking out trash to the Vacasa dumpsters around the corner based on what I read from other reviews. None of these things would keep us from staying here again… they are just ways to make things a little better.

The property was perfectly tucked away from the hustle and bustle, easy to get to downtown activities as well as multiple historical sites nearby!

Cute cabin in the woods, 7 miles from Helen. Plenty of room for two couples. But..big fire pit on the creek, that we couldn’t use because of open flame I guess? Never got permission to use it in any case, & we asked. No charcoal grills, no smoking anywhere on the property….but a fire pit????? So we had to walk to the roadway, through woods, in the dark, with bears and wildlife lurking. My suggestion would be to dismantle the fire pit all together.

This has been the nicest cabin my husband and I have stayed at. It was very clean, and very accommodating. It was pet friendly and the fees for us to bring a dog was very fair. My only complaint/suggestion is to get a curtain over the front door. When I am in a cabin in the woods, the last thing I want is for someone to just walk up to it and look in.

Coffee Creek Cabin was Everything I hoped it would be! It was so cute, clean and inviting as we walked in the door! I felt so comfortable there but I do wish they would have something covering the front door and very back windows for privacy. The kitchen has Everything you would need to be able to cook and the gas grill is a plus. The Propane tank was empty but a simple call to Vacasa customer service and they brought out a full one w/in the hour. The hot tub is so relaxing and the backyard is perfect with the fire pit, gazebo and swing! I cant say enough about this cabin except it’s Perfect for a family, Friends or Couple Getaway!!

Cozy place outside of town, but close enough to the action. Was a great retreat after hiking the falls, tubing the Chattahoochee.

Again, the location is tops. The property needs some updating; living room furniture is uncomfortable, one bedroom lacked a dresser (thus, no storage) and both lacked sufficient hangers. The kitchen lacked many items which we typically find in rentals; aluminum foil, paper nalkins, tissues, etc.

My mom and I stayed in the Coffee Creek Cabin for a long weekend and it was perfect! It’s quaint and cozy with 2 master suites. So much deck space to sit outside when the weather is nice. We loved the creek outside! So pretty and peaceful. Cabin to find, no winding roads or steep hills, and close to town. We loved it!
I will say the TV in the living room could use a new remote and maybe a comfier couch but other than that we have no complaints!

I stayed for a week and it was very nice indeed. I went for rest and relaxation - not to see any local sites. Everything I needed was there. Pros: Everything you need for a comfortable stay. Well-stocked kitchen, upgraded refrigerator with icemaker/water dispenser, dishwasher, gas stove, and washer/dryer. Nice comfortable furniture and two TVs. Easy access to Wi-Fi. I felt extremely safe and comfortable. Nice outside swing by the creek, fire pit, and a lovely gazebo. Cons: The close highway noise is really unfortunate. The porch swing is goofy because it's against the rails and you can't swing in it. The creek was very low and that was disappointing and we've had so much rain I was surprised. The ceiling fans are really noisy. The battery went out in the smoke detector at 5 a.m. the second day. I looked for a ladder (I am 75 with bad knees and had to climb on a chair and up on the bar to dismantle it. Removing the battery did not stop the chirping. I left a note explaining and $20 for the trouble someone had to go to for the wiring to be put back together). Some of the outside lights need to be replaced. This is my honest appraisal. Thank you for a most pleasant time celebrating my 75th birthday! I would definitely stay at Coffee Creek Cabin again!

Had to cancel our trip due to COVID-19. Lost our expenses due to not purchasing insurance; my mistake. I hope to have the opportunity to reschedule for a later date in the coming months. Vacasa representative was very sympathetic towards our loss, but due to time restraints we didn't get any refund. Live and learn.

Our stay at coffee creek was absolutely wonderful. It ended up being a rainy week in Georgia when we booked our trip but I was grateful because we really got to enjoy the cabin. The accommodations were cozy and comfortable. The kitchen was a pleasure to cook in and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed the fireplace and the heater out on the porch.
The cabin was in a great location with a state park right down the road and Helen about 10 min away. The host were so gracious and answered any questions we had. 10/10 would recommend!

Cabin was perfect for the four of us. We enjoyed everything about it!

The location was perfect with easy access to activities in and around Helen, GA. The cabin needs some work. The washer does not clean well and trips a breaker every time you use it. That same breaker trips randomly as well. It happens to be the one that controls the living room and wifi router. Very inconvenient when you have small children to entertain. The dishwasher would not run a full cycle. Could not figure that out so we hand washed dishes all week. With some work, this cabin would be a great place to stay when visiting the area.

Very clean place. Close to Helen and other attractions. Great backyard area although we were not able to enjoy it did to baby rains during our stay. Will stay there again when in the area.

It was super close to Helen, but not right on top of the busy town. Super comfy with great fireplace. Price was super affordable and we had a great time.

Property was just slightly off the main road, close to Helen. So great for seeing downtown Helen and many of the state parks.

Upon arrival, we were greeted with wet/sticky counters, dirty dishes, pizza boxes from previous guests, and just general dinginess. After doing some cleaning, and settling in following a 10 hour drive, we then came to realize that the front tv and fireplace were useless. We were later told that the gas fireplace is off during the fall and winter and only available during spring and summer. (makes sense??!) I will say, the bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and well furnished. As other reviewers have pointed out, the mattresses were comfy. The kitchen was well supplied and had nice appliances. In summary, we made it work until the fourth roach execution and simply decided to move on a day early. We've always had great luck with Vacasa properties, but this one sadly did not live up.
