Come and enjoy our recently remodeled turn of the century farmhouse just miles from Silver Falls State Park, the Oregon Garden, Santiam Canyon, and the fifteen wineries of the Cascade Foothill wine growers. Our farmhouse, which has been in the family for 60 years, is located just north of the quaint town of Sublimity. The location is an ideal starting point for many wonderful activities. Whether hiking the 10 Falls of Silver Creek or challenging yourself on single track biking trails, outdoor activities are minutes away.

The Farmhouse

The recently updated Farmhouse simply feels cozy - just like your own home. We strive to give it a warm feeling and provide a place of refuge during your travels. The first floor consists of large bright living areas, a spacious kitchen, sunroom, master bedroom, and two full bathrooms. The upstairs has three bedrooms, a full bathroom, and a common room with a television. The well appointed kitchen will provide you with everything you need to create a culinary masterpiece for your family and friends. The french doors in the dining room open to a sunroom appointed with ample seating and an old fashion porch swing.

Not only did we love the house, but Chris was very helpful, reaching out to help us with some changes to our plans and offering his help. We had plenty of space for everyone, the kids loved the games in the garage and s'mores at the fire pit, the setting was peaceful - it was the perfect home base for our family reunion. We are already thinking of when we can come back!

This was a great home base for exploring Silver Falls. Our only regret is not booking a longer stay. The farm cat was cute, the property owner was a delight, and the amenities were excellent. Highly recommend this place to anyone who is considering staying here.

We were in town to attend a family event in Silverton. This was a great, wide open property that had all the amenities. The host(s) were great and everything you could possibly want is at this house. I would not hesitate to stay there again!

We picked this stay due to its location to the silver falls state park. Our group of 8 adults planned hiking the trail of ten waterfalls, and the farmhouse is located nearby. The house is spacious and offered plenty of room. We enjoyed the back yard and its amenities for a pleasant evening! Chis was very helpful in showing us the house and was nearby if needed. We felt at home there! Loved Nick the cat, he joined us while we were outside visiting. It was a wonderful stay and would recommend this home!

The house is huge and plenty of room for everybody to spread out. Very clean with cute decor. We could’ve hosted a large family reunion dinner in the sunroom. It’s huge! Corn hole, covered patio with tables chairs and fire pit table. Chris, the caretaker was so nice and greeted us with a dozen eggs and coffee. Kitchen Included cooking oil, spices and even chilled coffee creamer. Games, puzzles and an adorable guard cat named Nick! Will recommend this home to everyone!

The vibe of this farmhouse is so relaxing and has so much to offer. The best part was drinking my morning tea on the swing. I highly recommend staying here. Chris you are wonderful host and so welcoming. Thank you for opening your home to us. We will definitely stay here again.

This home is even better in person. Thoughtfully decorated farmhouse, though updated and comfortable, still reminded me of my childhood grandparents farmhouse. Home is large enough for a family of 11! Host was instantly responsive, generous and kind. Beds very comfortable with alot of pillows and blankets. House spotlessly clean. Backyard is beautiful and safe. Seriously, I would never believe it sits only 30 min away from big city Salem. Hope to stay here again with more time to enjoy Silverfalls.

My husband and I host an annual weekend away for our adult kids, grandkids and us. Typically we stay at Mt Rainier and hike in the area. We decided to visit Silver Falls this year and had a wonderful time. This place is huge…plenty of together space and plenty of space to find a quiet place to read or nap. We arrived to a spotless home that had all we needed and then some! Super nice family that have had it in their family 60+ years. Highly recommend! PS: and yes, Nick the cat did not disappoint!

Chris, the host is great and very communicative. The house is definitely an old farmhouse full of charm. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked. The outdoor area is great for cornhole, fireside singing or hanging. And all the guys loved the game room. And it’s only about 15 minutes to Silver Falls State Park.

Amazing location as well as amazing home! Very clean as well as the amenities! The cat was very kind and friendly and I would definitely recommend this place to others. The fire pitch was calm and you could feel warm in the night and you can see the stars in the sky. Also there was no sight of mosquitoes around. The host, Chris was very welcoming to us and guided our family around the house.

There were 6 of us, then 8, then 10. One 17 year old & the rest adults. This property provided it all for us -- space to play games, to eat meals together, to sleep cool, to see Silver Falls, to pick our own blueberries and even space to "get away" from the others for quiet "me" time. We used the gas firepit, the gas grill, the basketball hoop, the bags/cornhole, and loved the outside seating. Our family who lived close brought their croquet set which was perfect! Nick (the cat) got plenty of attention from most of our guests. We found all of the pots/pans/dishes we needed to cook. Chris and his family are so welcoming without being intrusive. What a gift to stay in their family farm house.

Wow! This property did not disappoint! We had such a great time with three generations of family and are already planning to come next year and stay longer. We loved this house. So much space, so many things to do. We scheduled a dinner out one night and regretted that we had to leave the property. It was a lovely family time and we had everything we needed. Chris and his family are so available and lovely to work with and we can’t wait to be back!!

We had a wonderful weekend stay at this property for our son's wedding over Labor Day weekend. We hosted our Groomsmen side, plus family from out of town. This home easily accommodated our large group for overnight + hosting family & friends staying in the area for meals for the weekend. We loved the beautiful decor & extra spaces inside & outside; the fun bonus room with pool table, air hockey, pingpong & games; plus the 2nd bonus room with extra tables for games & meals; and the beautiful outdoor area with BBQ & chairs. The home & property were very clean & we were grateful for the extra amenities: bedding/towels/kitchen stuff/toiletries/games. Chris was a wonderful Host and so kind to work with leading up to our event weekend-- answering my questions for our stay & shopping nearby.

We hosted my daughter's wedding at Silver Creek Falls and used the house as a base for the family. The house was immaculate and highly well-stocked with linens and supplies. Chris greeted us at the house when we arrived and was exceptionally gracious. The house is spacious and cozy. Our family loved staying there. I highly recommend it!

From the day one booking a year in advance for our Family Reunion just a few miles from the farm we all grew up on, it worked out perfectly. Chris proved why he is a Super Host. While only four (7 total with spouses) of the nine in our family stayed in his Farmhouse, three others who still live nearby could join us for meals and sitting around the fire pit. The cat was a purrfect addition to make us feel at home. This house is set up with games and fun options and cooking utensils to satisfy everyone’s needs. This was a great gathering place close to the Wooden Nickel for times we chose not to cook, or just to meet up with other friends we’d grown up with and hadn’t seen for decades. This central location for a return family vacation has already been booked for next year as we hope to have all 9, instead of 7 of 9 like this year. Chris and his Dad and Sister made us feel like part of their family as we enjoyed their original home. Thank you for all you did to welcome and support our gathering. See you again soon.

Fun farmhouse with plenty of space for large group dining. Easy to work with property manager, lots of games and entertainment options , close to blueberry picking and waterfalls! There is an outdoor cat who likes attention so beware if you have allergies. Beds were bigger than shown on vrbo (bunk beds switched out for queen beds).

This house is one of my favorites. My friend and I stayed with our 5 kids, ages 7-14. The thought and care that was put into this house to make us feel welcome is outstanding. Game room with pool, air hockey, foosball, Nintendo Wii, board games, etc. Ice cream, snacks, candy, supplies. Indoor seating, space, and comfort for all. Outdoor space is also fantastic with covered patio, outdoor seating, basketball, and more. You can tell that the host is thoughtful and puts in the effort to make the stay special. 12 miles from Silver Creek Falls and about 15 min to Salem or Silverton. Great location, country feel, and a perfect vacation spot. Can't wait to come back someday. Thank you for a wonderful vacation. Will treasure the memories!

Great old family house for a family reunion as the enclosed porch and outdoor space is wonderful. Plenty of space to mingle and play with family. We had 11 in our party and the back "man cave" with pool, darts and WIFI games were a hit. Only negative is one of the upstairs mattress probably was due for an upgrade.
