House was adorable. My family of 5 had no trouble settling right in. It was great to have laundry available. Kitchen was good.
The only bad thing about our stay was it was the 4th of July week and there were fireworks in the neighborhood every night. I was expecting it to be more tame during the week. Obviously the hosts can’t control this (I didn’t dock any stars) but be aware if you stay around the holiday.

We traveled to Port Huron, MI for a family wedding. Choosing this house allowed up to stay and invite our daughters (from Utah and Michigan) to join us for the wedding. The house was perfect - 10 minutes from the venue, beds were comfortable, living room had plenty of room for us to relax and catch-up on each others lives.
We had a wonderful stay.

Very comfortable stay in a convenient in-and-out location. Enjoyed having our own little private space with the fenced in backyard. We did not have time this visit but could see ourselves grilling in the backyard with a fire in the pit. Loved the occasional train whistles. Compared to local hotel options, this property exceeded our expectations.

Jen and Robert were tremendous hosts. The check in process was easy and the home was warm and inviting. All the comforts necessary for a nice weekend were provided. There was plenty of space for 4 of us to spread out and have a good time. Plenty of parking space as well. I would highly recommend this accommodation!

Property was very clean and perfect for our short stay. My dad had to go to a nursing home 1 mile away so location waa perfect. Will be using again for follow-up visits. Thanks so much for not adding any stress to our situation.

My best friend of 42 yrs & I wanted to spend time catching up & being close to stores, restaurants & Lake Huron. This was the perfect place to do that. The house is comfy, well decorated & stocked with most things you’d have at your own home. We were only a 30 minute drive from our farthest destination which was Lexington.
The only con was in re: to location. The main road (Oak St) is a bit busy & there is construction on all the side streets. The owner can’t do anything about it but a heads-up could’ve been helpful as we were not familiar with the area.

This was a great place to stay. I would definitely stay here again if we come back down to that area. It was very clean. It was super cute and updated. We did not have time to utilize the backyard, but it was great, with a fire pit stocked with wood and seating areas.

We found this place to use as a shared space and save some money for a tournament weekend for our sons (over everyone having to buy hotel rooms). The house was just as described and very comfortable. They had many items necessary for cooking as well. Very pleased with our stay.

We really enjoyed our time at this this Port Huron house. As advertised, they did a nice job renovating this older home, and I loved that they kept (refinished) the lovely wood floors in the main living area. I needed to do some work on my laptop during our stay, so I really liked all the different table-top options so I could switch things up a bit throughout my day. The kitchen was well-equipped, and we found all the furniture to be comfortable.
This house is on a corner of two streets, one of which is a major thoroughfare. With that said, the road noise wasn't bad for us, and the 3 bedrooms are all on the opposite side of the house, so it's smartly designed that way. But I could see some folks being bothered by us, so it's worth noting.
I can't comment on the backyard as we only used the interior of the house and only entered through the front door.
Jen was a great house and was very kind to go out of her way to suggest some food and movie options when I mentioned some of our plans. She also kindly negotiated a fair late checkout arrangement on our final day to accommodate our travel plans.
Would be happy to stay again anytime when visiting Port Huron. This home is a great value when compared to hotel options in the area.

The house was very nice inside, updated and clean. Tub was slippery. Yard was rustic and shade covered. Grill is old, not clean, unusable. Trees overhang, could not have a fire. Very busy road with loud traffic outside. We did not feel comfortable in the neighborhood, but it was a convenient location

We enjoyed our stay here. It has a cute beachy theme, and a lot of room for three ladies on a girls’ trip. The location is convenient to visit the local activities, restaurants, and shops. We even had a day trip along Lake Huron all the way to Port Sanilac.

Had a very nice week's stay. Had plenty of room and the outside space was nice for having a cookout/fire on a few nights.

Overall, this property comes as advertised. The communication w the owner and inconsistent glitching (tech issues) and was a bit alarming. We were headed north from Indy & Massachusetts still without check in & access info, which was quite stressful. It was resolved through VRBO customer service however and everything worked out.
The property itself is very nice but has some quirks. The back gate is difficult to unlock & requires bending down reaching on the outside from the top step. The beds are a little tired and the pillows are pretty flat and uncomfortable.
None of these small things ruined our stay. If you are ok with street noise, on a busy street (Oak Street), it’s a very good place to take on the charm and beauty of Port Huron. The lake, community & St. Clair River views are amazing.

We were really happy with this house, suited our needs perfectly - in a good neighborhood and close to shopping, restaurants & bars. Nicely decorated, comfortable and roomy

This place was a unexpected surprise. The outside was ok, nothing to write home about. Except for the back yard. What a wonderful outdoor space in a city. Too bad it was raining the entire time we were there or we would have enjoyed a bonfire. Inside was great. So much bigger than what the pictures show. Plenty of space. Probably the cleanest vacation rental I have ever stayed in. Not even a speck of dust. Loved the local recommendations and how close everything was to the house. Only things I would suggest is that there is a transition going from the dining room to the kitchen that is raised (unavoidable) but the threshold is almost completely coming off. I tripped on it the first time I was walking through and I thought I ripped it off (I didn't) but we all tripped on it once or twice over the past few days. I recommend you fix that. Also that house is so cute and everything looks so great. Then the couch is falling apart with pads covering the rips. It seems off because the rest of the place is perfect. Two minor complaints that would NOT cause me to not return there. Highly recommend your house. Thanks again!

This beautiful home far exceeded our expectations with the spacious, clean and beautiful decor. There was absolutely nothing we needed that wasn’t provided for already in this lovely home. Plenty of room for us 3 adult couples. We all enjoyed our stay. We appreciate your home and the fun memories during our stay, thank you.
