We loved our stay in the unique Villa Alecya. The hosts were warm and friendly and went out of their way to ensure were were always happy. Anna prepared a delicious meal for us using their home grown produce and we enjoyed sharing the dining room with other travellers. We highly recommend you stay in this gorgeous villa in the pretty town of St Catherine de Fierbois.

Just a lovely property.

Delightfully unusual house which has been lovingly refurbished to a very high standard. Each of the rooms has an individual theme. Modern and antiques mix to give a wonderful richness.
The hosts welcomed us with sparkling wine for our anniversary and there was a good Auberge 3 minutes walk into the village with very reasonable tasty food.

This chateau was just fabulous, beautifully renovated & decorated - we loved it !
The town was very small and very quiet but we did have dinner in a wonderful little restaurant - the Jeanne of Arc !

The couple that runs Villa Alecya, Christophe and Anna, were extraordinarily kind, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The grounds to the villa and rooms are beautifully kept; peaceful and well-situated. In the morning, they serve a breakfast with croissant, bread, locally made jams, tea, coffee, etc. which is perfect. Would absolutely stay again.
Not the Villla's fault--we just didn't have a car rented, so getting back and forth to Tours was a little tricky (and we got lucky, thanks to Anna). Strongly recommend figuring out transit far in advance if you are not driving, especially if traveling on the weekend.

The hosts at Villa Alecya made us feel very welcome and gave us a bottle of sparkling wine once they heard we had just got married. The hotel is STUNNING, each room decorated individually and all so beautiful. Breakfast was wonderful. Lots of homemade preserves and a good selection available. There was also a record player which we could choose our own music.
Nothing. We loved our stay.

The owners, Christophe and Anna were so welcoming! Nothing was too much trouble. Villa Alecya has been lovingly restored by them with love and it shows. The history is very interesting and the property has some really lovely decor. The rooms are wonderful and comfortable with everything provided
Breakfast includes a lovely selection of home grown fruit and jams. A table d'hote meal is available to pre book at times and we had this on our last night. It was absolutely delicious and presented so beautifully. I would highly recommend a stay at Villa Alecya and hope one day to return. Thank you Christophe and Anna.
Nothing, it was perfect.

the decoration of this beautifully restored building is exceptional. The room was beautiful with a private terrace which was perfect to sit, eat cheese and drink wine in the evening. The reception rooms are also stunning and guests are made to feel welcome to enjoy these at their leisure. Breakfast was also excellent with homemade cake and apple compote from the orchard!

Villa Alecya was such a magnificent building. It’s been lovingly updated by a wonderful couple, Ana and Christoph. They were amazing hosts, so kind and they would go out of their way to get you anything you need. The area the building is in is quiet and quaint, has a wonderful restaurant one block away, and is incredibly charming. you have easy access to small back roads that will connect you to various chateaus nearby and Christoph is super helpful in planning your day with you! Also Ana is a fantastic chef!!
Everything was wonderful (for those who struggle with stairs, this place has a lot of them, so keep that in mind, but we loved the stairs and charming decor).

Our hosts were very welcoming, breakfast was delicious, the building itself is dead gorgeous and very well decorated. It really felt like they cared about the quality of our stay.

The hosts are very nice and welcoming
We had our breakfast listening to old LP records, that's a unique feature :)
The villa is amazing with a unique architecture
The garden seemed very nice but we didn't have a chance to visit due to the weather
Not much the host could do about it : the weather
Our room was a bit small and the access to the terrasse goes through the bathroom / toilet but considering how old the structure of the building is, that's understandable.

It was very clean. The hosts were lovely and kind and gave a little history about their hotel. The breakfast was served in one of the wonderful rooms downstairs. The garden is large and nice to walk around in in the morning.
Nothing.

We’ve stayed twice in this beautiful villa and will come back again soon. The very friendly host and hostess make you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The rooms are all different, cozy, luxurious and provide you with all comfort. The beds are comfy and everything is spotless.
Make sure you book dinner as well, delicious, and with good weather served outside.
