Perfect little Holland stay. Clean and easy communication with owner. Great location for hitting all Holland has to offer.

Lovely little apartment in a great neighborhood, convenient for biking, shopping downtown and a trip to the state park. The kitchen was well-stocked and the bed was comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.

Overall this was a great place to stay while in town. The site was immaculate and it did provide amenities that were useful during the stay. I would highly recommend this location to other travelers.

Owners do not seem to be aware of things that need to be fixed such as burned out lightbulbs, towel holder falling off wall in bathroom, broken wand to close blinds in bedroom, smoke alarm not secured to ceiling, carpenter ants and bugs. Kitchen was missing basic cooking items. Steep narrow stairwell with narrow treads made entry and exit very dangerous. The unit was very damp all the time. Needs a dehumidifier!

My family had a nice stay in this apartment, comfy & equipped with everything we needed.

The property manager was so quick at getting back to us with any questions. We were in town to for my husbands graduation and my birthday and she took the time to make handmade signs for each celebration and taped them on the wall. So kind.

Overall, our stay at the Treehouse was very nice. I would recommend this property to friends and family and most likely will stay again. The property doesn’t look like anything special, the steps to the upstairs apartment are narrow and steep, but the apartment was very clean and comfortable. The beds were very supportive, and we slept great! The location is on a very quiet street. We didn’t see or hear the downstairs tenets. We liked the privacy.

I saw the flag of the Ukraine when we arrived. I didn't realize till after we left that a family from there lived below us and I want to thank the owners, not just for a clean and comfortable accommodation but for whatever it is they are doing for this family, perhaps displaced by an unprovoked war on their country. Also, love it that there are many children in this lovely neighborhood.

First of all, I can’t say enough good things about the location of this property. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet and an easy 5 minute drive to downtown. There were two of us so we each had our own room. The place was clean and comfortably decorated and furnished. The description of the stairs up to the apartment is accurate, narrow and steep so care must be taken. Bathroom is a bit narrow but nice and everything works. Cherie is very responsive and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again!

It was a nice unit in a quaint, quiet neighborhood that was close to downtown Holland. My son loved that he could have his own room instead of sleeping on a sofa bed. Would recommend to friends and family.

A great property for a weekend getaway. Minutes from downtown and just a short drive to Saugatuck and Grand Haven.

My family loved the Treehouse! It is located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. The place is just a few minutes drive to downtown and about 10-15 minutes walk to a couple local parks.
We stayed through the 4th of July, and having a baby and a toddler in tow, we were thankful that the neighbors kept things quiet for most of the night- just a few booms in the distance. Also, Cherie was very thoughtful and left a sound machine for us, just in case.
The house itself is very tidy and clean. Everything is cute and high quality and it is stocked with all we needed for our three day stay. The rooms are cozy but large enough to fit a pack n play at the end of the bed. It is also so much fun to be up in the trees! Had a great stay!

The property had a great layout. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen really nice. The home is located on a quiet nice street. Only major improvement suggestion is to enlarge/update the bathroom. Overall the space is well organized, spacious and comfortable for a getaway.

Wanted to see the changing leaves and had 3 days off! I’d never been to the area, saw this listing and took a chance. It worked out great. Close to trails, restaurants, Lake Michigan and dog friendly home.

Holland Treehouse
Nice, clean property that worked so well for exploring Holland! Easy check-in and great communication with host. Perfect size for my family of four (2 adults and 2 small kids).

Charming Treehouse
We very much enjoyed our stay in the teeehouse. We literally felt like we were in a tree house! The bedrooms are very quaint with the pitched ceilings and simple white bedding. The decor is simple and tasteful. We had everything we needed (coffee pot, blow dryer, etc).
There seemed to be a little more in amenities and supplies than was advertised. Very nice.
The stairs are very much as described but unless you have trouble with stairs in general, you should be fine. You just need to pay attention. We didn't find a light in the stairway for evening time but we didn't look for one. We used our phone.
The bathroom is pretty tiny but functions fine. It helped to have a second mirror in one of the bedrooms. This was not a problem for us.
The neighborhood was charming and well kept. It was quiet in the evening. The location to downtown and the beach was very convenient and pretty close.
We would absolutely stay there again.

Just what we needed for our one night stay in Holland. Close to downtown area and in a nice, safe neighborhood. Just a short 15 minute trip to our destination in Saugatauk also.

Wonderful Stay
Our stay at The Treehouse was great! The apartment was better than described and the location was great for those visiting downtown Holland or venturing out a bit further. Recent updates have been made and the place is better than what you see in the pictures!

Comfortable, quiet, good location
Nicely renovated. Good quality beds. Overall very clean and comfy. My only suggestion would be to supply extra linen for the futon, since it converts into a sleeping bed

Our second stay at the Treehouse was even cozier than the first time! We'll repeat!
Comfortable, clean, efficient, and relaxing!

Enjoyable Stay, Responsive Host
My 14YO daughter and I came for the weekend to attend a swim meet. We aren't huge fans of hotels as they tend to be noisy so we always look for VRBOs when traveling.
The Treehouse is located in a nice neighborhood close to the Aquatic Center as well as many shops and restaurants.
Check-in was seemless and communication with Cherie was easy; she is quick to respond to any messages.
The apartment was clean and comfortable for the two of us. The kitchen had enough cookware/dishes/utensils to make meals, and we relaxed in the evening by enjoying the different architecture of the neighborhood homes while taking walks and then later streaming TV. We weren't a fan of the mattresses as they were very firm, but that's a personal preference. Although something to note - while the description states it has queen beds, the beds felt smaller than our queens at home so I they might be fulls. As we each had our own, it wasn't an issue, but it would've been tight if I'd had to share. Outside of that everything was as described.
Most importantly for us, it was quiet just as we hoped. We would definitely stay again.
A couple of recommendations: Have blankets available for use and add curtains to the dining area windows.

A Great Stay for a Family with Small Kids
We felt right at home in this property. We traveled with our 4-year old and 16-month old, so we did need to pay attention to a few childproofing situations (step down to bathroom/bedroom, centralized space heater with gas line and space behind for "exploring," lower cabinets with cleaners) but that's par for the course when traveling with small kids. We found a mini pack-and-play fit just right at the end of the beds in the rooms, I'm not sure a full-size PnP would fit. We appreciated all the amenities and loved the treetop view! The house is also situated near the aquatic center and several great parks.

Simple, comfy and centrally located
No problem with rental details or communication. Easy to find and stairs to the top were a nice workout (as long as you are reasonably fit).
Simply furnished but all needs are met and serves as a great base for the area!

Safe, adorable neighborhood and close to everything in Holland
Cherie was a very responsive host. The place was clean and the neighborhood is perfect. Many local parks if you have kids. We enjoyed tunnel park, Holland state park beach, downtown Holland, and Saugatuck downtown area and beach. You are only a half hour from Grand Haven as well! Great location and perfect for a family of 4.

I loved this property. It is close to everything. The neighbors are nice. The apartment is nice. I will rent this apartment again.

Clean and cute
The description of the property is "quaint" and "sweet". Translates to small and charming. I would think it wasn't worthy of 5 stars because the livingroom is a bit tight and the bathroom is tiny, but truth is, this "quaint and sweet" apartment did earn 5 stars. Very clean, efficient and quiet. Best beds! A very pleasant retreat at the end of busy days.

Great place to stay in Holland
We loved this place. It was very clean and only a 5 minute drive to downtown Holland and 10 minutes to Saugatuck. Our host was amazing and everything was absolutely lovely!! It was perfect for my sister and I. I wouldn’t change a thing.

Wonderful!
The Treehouse was super cute and in a perfect location for early morning walks around the neighborhood and a 10 minute walk to a park! They had 2 bikes to use but we brought our own. The TV worked with Netflix (another review said it didn’t) and the stairs were a bit steep - make sure all your guests can handle stairs. Would highly recommend!

NO CABLE TV
The entire time we stayed here we had trouble with the TV. There is no cable TV, we had to use Netflix. When we tried to use Netflix though, it wouldn't even work. We tried and tried, but we could not watch the TV at all. IF YOU NEED TELEVISION, DO NOT RENT THIS HOUSE! Everything else about this house is okay, but having zero TV was a real bummer.
