Very quaint cottage rich in charming character. Located perfectly to walk to just about everywhere, from downtown Holland and all around.

Clean and comfortable home in the Historic District. The furnishings were cozy too. An easy walk to downtown and Kollen Park. Pricing was very reasonable given how overpriced Holland can be in general.
Host and Property Manager were communicative and provided lots of info about the area - restaurants, things to do, etc. The only downside - nobody at fault here - was the significant roadwork being done while we were there. Had to find parking around the corner and down the street. That was clearly communicated to us ahead of time. I would stay here again if in the area.

This was a cute place. Great location to everything.

This historic house reminded me of my grandma's house full of wonderful childhood memories and is the perfect place to stay and visit Holland, MI for the tulip bloom.
(Being a historic house means there are a few quirks but nothing to interrupt a wonderful visit.)
Right around the corner is Tulip Lane(s) with blocks of beautiful tulips for a morning or evening walk. Just a few blocks away is Centennial Park, the lovely downtown with shops and restaurants, and the Lake Macatawa.
It is also a great location to quickly get to other attractions - commercial tulip garden, Dutch village, etc. - in 10-15 minutes. We also recommend driving around the lake to Holland Harbor and the big red lighthouse.
The house was supplied with plenty of linens, the beds were comfortable, and little touches like chocolates and bedside coffee/tea cups made it feel homey and comfortable.
We took advantage of the great restaurants and bakeries just blocks away and did not do any cooking but the kitchen seemed stocked well with the basics.
Our local contact communicated with us prior to arrival, was available during our stay if we needed anything, and was overall very kind and helpful (e.g. sharing their top must see/do list for our short visit).
We would definitely stay here again and...
the tulips were beautiful!
(note: we visited the week before the annual tulip festival in Holland, MI)

We had a lovely stay here. It was my husband and I and our young child. The bedrooms are next to each other which is great. The house very much has a historic feel so keep in mind with little ones. Smart tv was great for a rainy day. Our host had amazing suggestions for things to do. Check in was easy, neighborhood is very walkable.

We came down to Holland for the VanRaalte Civil War Muster. The home was cute and was like stepping back in the late 30's/40's. With that said, be aware that the home and its rooms/beds are on the smaller side; so it is not like most modern era homes. This is not to deter anyone from experiencing a stay at this location, just more information as to what to expect.
Overall, we'd stay again.

We rode bicycles over to Ottawa Beach easily, great bike and walking paths, great restaurants close by and iconic small town vibe.

This is a perfect vacation abode for a couple or maybe a small family who want to be active. Quiet neighborhood within walking distance to all of central Holland with it’s many attractions. The house is nicely furnished and well maintained. Our host was very responsive to any inquiries. We will rent this house again next time we visit Holland.

We loved our stay at this property. It was very conveniently located within walking distance to downtown as well as the Hope College campus. The hosts were very responsive and helpful and always eager to offer dining recommendations as well as other ideas of things to do while in the area. Also, the sparkling lemonade they left for us was delicious and a lovely gesture. Thank you!

This house is old in the very best way! It’s on a street with mature trees and as you pull into the driveway you see its charm immediately. For its age it is SPOTLESS and very well taken care of. The location is great and so close to many places. It had everything we needed for our stay. Beds were comfy and we brewed a pot of coffee every morning to start our day. Check in and out were smooth and the communication was excellent! This is a VRBO winner!

The house was adorable and filled with vintage charm. We enjoyed our time in Holland immensely and much of that was due to the perfect location of this cozy home and the wonderful suggestions of things to do from the property manager. The home is well kept, extremely comfortable and close proximity to both the lake and town. We will be back!

What a great place! The house was cozy with a small kitchen and single bath. The rooms were large enough to fit a pack n play. The 2 full size beds were comfortable. There was actually much more living space than we expected with an awesome enclosed front porch and living room and a large basement with a lay flat futon, desk, and washer/dryer. There were 2 excellent parks about a block each way for the kids and we walked downtown several times with small children.

Comfortable, welcoming and full of little “extras.” Stacey was super regarding communication and offering advice on the local area. The historic home was full of character, well decorated, and the furniture was comfortable, including the beds. Home away from home.
