I loved the location and they were able to walk to the ocean for a beach day and visit stores and restaurants all within walking distance. The homeowner was a delightful lady who made our stay even more wonderful.
Just that it was on the lower level and damp in the front foyer, but we kept that door closed. my friend had asthma so we thought it best to keep that door closed because it smelled very musty.

Incredible location- picturesque and convenient, within a short walk of all the best that historic Rockport has to offer.
Nice apartment- very attractive, spacious (for a couple), nicely appointed, well-equipped, cozy and welcoming.
Had no problem finding free street parking when we were there in mid/late October.
Management responded immediately to a texted request (for wi-fi password).
One minor dislike- To keep dampness out, a dehumidifier runs almost constantly, creating some low-level background noise which was a little bothersome to me, having mild hearing loss. But it may not bother others.

I liked how it was close to all the shops.
Wasn’t very clean, very hot. Looked bigger in pictures.

The location is great but no parking, have to run out and put money in meters every 4 hours for part of the day. Summer parking would be HORRIFIC.
I am 5 ft and could touch the ceiling, no closets (what do you do with 10 days worth of clothes), my mother is 83 years old and the floors were flagstone (not appropriate for inside house) that were so uneven that my mother tripped on them and almost fell 2x, the sofa bed mattress was so thin that it was like laying on the metal springs, there were Itune stains on radiator, the house was so dark at night as no ceiling lights only lights from a lamp on kitchen table, small lights on fireplace and floor lamp, one blanket to use for the sleep sofa and it had what looked like poop on it (had to sleep with coat on), the negatives go on and on. My mother referred to it as “The House of HORRORS”. By far the WORSE place I have ever stayed! We moved out after 1 night, with 9 days remaining, and could not get a refund from Booking, Vacasa or the owners. It is an 1850 house with unique character but not comfortable or clean for todays standards.

Upon arrival, Jill met us with a friendly smile, and made sure we were able to settle in to the wonderful apartment. She didn't stay long, though, knowing we had our own things to do. The apartment was immaculate. Jill and Dave also had several (surprising) gifts for us. A box of homemade chocolates from Tucks, a nice bottle of Sauvignon Blanc, an above average corkscrew bottle opener, and a deck of playing cards. Wonderful welcoming touches; much appreciated.
We felt like we the the first to use the apartment. Everything from the towels, to the dishes, pots and pans, etc, all seemed like they were brand new. The heaters/air conditioners were silent. No sound except the flow of the air. Sleeping at night was fantastic. Parking was simple, the smart TV allowed us to watch our own selections on Netflix, plus plenty of other cable channels were available. The apartment felt soundproofed, as we heard no external noise, well into the morning; mind you, the apartment is smack dab in the center of town. A quick stroll across the street and you get a beautiful view of Motif #1.
It was perfect!
