We loved the place, the location and really appreciated the welcoming and attention to details.

Our stay in Capitol Hill was amazing! Dan was extremely accommodating in all ways. He communicated in a timely manner, made the check-in/out process easy, and gave us great recommendations of places to go in the area. I would recommend this place to everyone not just for the location but also the welcoming host. Thank you, Dan!

Nice central district location. Parking space a nice bonus in this neighborhood. Plenty of eatery options within walking distance. Clean unit has a retro 50s vibe. Building itself is older and inside hallways are dingy and dirty. But once you get past that, the room is fine if a bit cramped in the bathroom for one. Dan is helpful and replies quickly if needed.

We would for sure recommend choosing this spot. Very cute, great light, quiet but close to everything. Nicely appointed with fixings for coffee and tons of toiletries if you left something at home. Comfy bed and excellent water pressure. And Dan is an excellent host! Sad to leave, hope to stay again someday.

It is an older building in a University Area. The suite was great but the building was a bit tired. It was also on the Glide Path for the airplanes flying in an out of Seatac Airport.

Dan was such a gracious host! He made the check in/out process was very easy and the unit had all the basics you’ll need. We appreciated the quiet neighborhood and walkability to so many things. The parking spot was a major plus too!

This retro studio apartment has everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. From the teal microwave and toaster to coffee/tea, spices, oil and even some condiments. We enjoyed 2 sunny days and had a great view of the space needle and harbour. Very walkable to grocery shopping and restaurants and a short uber or bus to downtown. Dan was an awesome host and provided good info and stories.

If you've been on Seattle's Capitol Hill you already know that parking is a huge hassle - one of the BEST things about this unit is a designated parking space next to the bldg plus you're across the street from a major grocery store with a Starbucks for a quick coffee run.The unit also has tons of natural light and a really nice view of the Sound which is another added bonus.
Although we gave this a 5-star rating, the unit isn't perfect - it's a bit outdated with too much linoleum and the interior of the historic bldg is definitely grubby with messy public areas (nice tenants tho!). The worst part of our stay, however, is how hot and stuffy the unit was despite cool weather. We probably should've asked Dan how to fix it but we just opened the windows a lot. Still, the studio apt is in a great location with nearby restaurants/bars and about 4 blocks to the light rail which we needed for football games.

I would highly recommend Dan’s apartment for a single or couple stay in Seattle. It’s located right in the heart of Capitol Hill - one of Seattle’s most thriving neighborhoods - and is in walkable distance to various attractions in the neighborhood, to the light rail line and also to downtown Seattle.
The apartment was also really cute, very clean, and with a lot of historical character. It also has an incredible view of downtown and the Olympic mountains.
Communication with Dan was also quick and consistent.
I would definitely recommend this place for anyone visiting Seattle and look forward to reaching back out to Dan on my next stay.

Dan made check-in/out easy and provided a ton of great recommendations.

Host was a wonderful communicator and very friendly. The unit was very clean, cute, and had a wonderful view of the city skyline. If you don’t mind walking it’s pretty easy to get to the major areas of downtown or to use public transit!

my stay in this cute apartment was a complete joy! it is perfect for 1 or maybe 2 guests, and despite its spare appearance, it had everything a low-maintenance person like me needed. clean, quiet, airy, and what a view! Dan, the owner, was close at hand to offer help and advice.
beware the hike up from the 1-Line Capitol Hill stop, though - it's not called a hill for nothing. the 8/10/43 buses at the corner will help you get anywhere you want to go. it's a couple of blocks to the amazing Volunteer Park, and the neighborhoods along 15th and along Broadway are utterly charming and progressive, too!

Great location near train and Cap Hill businesses. Walkable to Pike Place and other tourist spots. Unit is a large bachelor, very clean and charming. Stunning sunset view of Space Needle and water. Easy check-in and out. Grocery store literally across the street, as well as multiple coffee shops (I settled on Overcast Coffee as my fave) and restaurants. Loved it.

My partner and I had a lovely stay. The space was just right for a couple looking to explore the city. Close to most of the night life we had wanted to experience and several great food choices nearby. The thing that we most enjoyed was the friendly welcome from Daniel and of course the spectacular view of the waterfront and the space needle from our room. We spent the morning with a coffee and just soaked in the view.

Super clean and well appointed studio was perfect for our stay. Near public transportation and food. Host was helpful and gracious.

We cannot recommend this place enough. It’s located near a market, a few blocks from public transportation, and is a very clean amazing apartment with a great view. Amazingly, clean and open space, very helpful host.
It’s located in an older historical building with other apartment units. You can admire the vintage hallway, carpet and staircase as you walk to the apartment, and then you will enter the apartment and find that it is super new inside. Best of both worlds.
Places to hang towels, shower that is high enough for tall people, kitchen space, clean floors, view of the space needle and bay in the distance, coffee. Highly recommend.

I drove into Seattle at the tail end of rush hour and breathed a sigh of relief when I got into this apartment. The view is spectacular, the space is clean and bright, and the open shelving in the kitchen and bath makes it easy to find everything Daniel has thoughtfully provided. The street is fairly quiet but just a block over you'll find restaurants and shops aplenty. Most of the piers and big tourist destinations are 1.5-2 mi away. There's a bus stop nearby, which I highly recommend for getting back, but I liked walking downtown each morning as it's entirely downhill and gives you a chance to take things in.

My mom and I rented this apartment for our little getaway in Seattle where we attended events and it was in an excellent location, the provided parking space was an absolute plus. There is a Safeway right across the street which is super convenient, and it's about 15 minutes away from the major attractions such as Pike Place Market. If you choose not to drive, it's conveniently on a bus line which takes but a minute to walk to and a Lyft is always nearby. We used Lyft for travel to one of our events and the driver was at the Safeway across the street so it was almost an instant pickup. Dan was very welcoming and quick to respond to any questions we had through our stay. We were surprised to see that there was a TV and an AC unit as that did not show in pictures so that was even better. The view is gorgeous with the mountains and space needle right in your sight. If you need darkness to sleep well, I do recommend a sleep mask as it gets bright once the sun rises. We would love to rent again if we ever need to stay in the area for a future event.

This studio apartment is centrally located near many of the city's best restaurants, bars (Hopvine is my fave), grocery stores, etc. The light rail station is a few blocks down the hill. No need for a car, but there's an off-street spot just in case.
The apartment is spotlessly clean with great amenities. Very cozy bed, excellent grind-your-own coffee, etc etc. It's a classic building that is probably 100+ years old with views of the Space Needle and downtown. Dan is a great host, I will absolutely stay again. Thanks Dan!

We own two VRBO properties ourselves, so we get a bit picky about the places we stay. However, this one really fit the bill!
Here are a couple of things you might not appreciate when reading the listing...
- It is in a great location, across the street from a Safeway/Starbucks and within walking distance to lots of restaurants. We also felt very safe in the neighborhood. We walked down to Seattle University several times and the walk was very pleasant and direct.
- The apartment was well stocked for two people, really clean, and comfortable.
- Dan our host communicated well and was even able to let us in a little early to drop our stuff off too.
Bottom line: We'd go back to this place in a heartbeat...so much more pleasant than staying in a hotel!

Dan’s condo is tastefully decorated, well appointed, clean, quiet and very comfortable. There were lots of nice touches, coffee, soaps, great pillows, comforter and a charging station. Condo is safe, convenient, within walking distance to restaurants and grocery store. I love that you can see the Space needle, downtown Seattle and the mountains across Puget Sound from the window, incredible sunsets too! The AC was great since we had some warm afternoons while I was there. Check in and checkout was a breeze. Dan is a thorough and thoughtful host and I highly recommend his condo!

Capitol Hill Treasure
Don't let the weathered facade fool you... tucked away upstairs in the back, is wonderful studio; bright and clean with a comfy bed and laden with all the amenities. Daniel was a very gracious and friendly host who met us upon our arrival and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. We felt very safe in the apartment and other residents were quite friendly. Oh, and the magnificent view over downtown and waterfront, back-dropped by Bainbridge Island with the Space Needle as your focal point is a quintessential Seattle Postcard :) We truly are looking forward to our next stay!
