The location was great. There is parking across the road. you may not get a space, but if you do it will be good value.
The second floor rooms had French style pull down shutters which is great for the heat and noise. The Second floor apartment was big and spacious. You are 1 mins from the market, Shops and all the places you could ever want to Eat and drink in. The building sits on the old town walls, so the are kinda nice(ish) views across the town.
The top attic room was very hot when we arrived in mid August. There are Velux widows that open, but the room was a bit warm. There are fans provided and the kids didn't complain We had a room on the 1st floor and the was cool and pleasant.
4.3
Good location and you have everything you need in the appartment
Lack of ventilators (quite hot that day), also toilets are narrow

Location was brilliant. The whole place was absolutely wonderful. The flat was well stocked and lots of room for 5 of us and a baby. Fantastic!
The beds were a little too low and slightly uncomfortable but fine for one night.

There was nothing good about this property.
This property is not fit for purpose and should be taken down from bookings.com. It was infested with bugs and was extremely dirty. The host is dishonest by posting pictures that’s not reflect the real apartment.
4.3
The big kitchen, although we didn’t have the time to use it.
4.3
clean, warm, spacious
noise from above and the bed uncomfortable

Very organized and well decorated apartment. Cozy and a super clean bathroom! I loved finding coffee caps at the kitchen!
close to many restaurants and the down town. sound proof apartment!
sadly i was surprised by a huge spider in the kitchen. 😬 …. it was a scary moment!

Good location in flat on ground floor, entry was fine although getting details was delayed. Comfortable and clean in great location, mural on external was a surprise.
Toilet was in a cupboard with little space for movement, shower was limited. Crockery and cooking utensils were sparse, no wifi available and iron had to be asked for from cleaning staff but quickly supplied. No noise insulation from residents upstairs.

A clean, lovely 2 room apartment in old Angoulême, with modern conveniences. Spacious shower stall, a washing machine, a fridge and a view towards Station from the bathroom window. A double bed and a sofa. Plenty of good restaurants within a 5-minute walk.
The staircase can be a bit narrow, if you are carrying large luggage.

Loved this quirky, beautiful apartment in a great location. We really felt like we were stepping into a charming French film with all the great decor and with shops, bars and stunning views on the doorstep.
The apartment is very well thought out with everything you'd need for a great stay. We particularly enjoyed watching a film on the huge TV while there was a thunderstorm outside that we could see/hear through the big skylight windows.
A perfect, light and clean apartment for a romantic stay in town.
Unfortunately, the wifi didn't work. This was resolved later and the host was very apologetic.
To be aware, the apartment on the top floor is via a few flights of windy stairs so a bit of a challenge with heavy cases. Worth it, in our opinion but may be hard if you struggle with mobility.

Location was good and very close to centre
the photos were misleading and not close

There was no breakfast, worse still shops in the vicinity to buy anything, just restaurants (my fault I should have checked before booking) There was no one to meet, just a door code and key box. Unfortunately I had no internet so I had to get help accessing my phone messages otherwise I would never have been able to enter the building! there was a kitchenette but no table or chairs to sit and eat??? just an ikea clap up table and a very low foot stool. Heaven knows what more than one person could do (sit on the bed and eat?) It was very stuffy in the "Apartement" and only one window could be opened the other one had a defect and couldnt be opened. I was not impressed by this place.

Remote check-in worked flawlessly. The apartment is clean and confortable, with a nice modern design. Location is great (very central) but it it is this location that has its flaws... (see below)
We stayed in flat no.3, facing the cute little market square (Place du Commandant Raynal), but on weekend nights in summer it gets VERY loud, due to all the people on the terrasses.
This would be OK because the windows are sound proof, but there is no A/C in the apartment, so we basically had the choice between opening the windows at night (=noice & music) or or keeping them closed (= very high indoor temperatures).
There are also flats on the backside of the building, so chose these ones, at least during the warm season.

Location
Close to bars, difficult to sleep

Cozy, clean, organised and smelling nice. Feeling at home.
Main shower wasn’t working properly and the toilet was moving.
4.3
lovely location, air con a blessing on hottest day of the year.
was pretty great but if one was nit picking… shower head could be replaced.

Great apartment and wonderful location. Close to everything. Easy check-in.
Very hot in July. Two fans and single skylight was not enough to cool the space. Really difficult to sleep. Needs another window to get circulation.Free street parking available from 19h to 8:30h.

The location of the property was fantastic and the blackboard for children was a nice touch.
There is no AC in the apartment and no mechanical ventilation at all. Fans need to be provided during the summer months. There is a carpark next door to the apartment which seems be used in the early hours of the morning - so your sleep is disturbed when windows are left open during the night.
There was no toilet roll and it would of been nice to maybe have some bottled water waiting upon our arrival.
The TV system did not work during our entire stay. (would of been nice for the children briefly).
4.3
The apartment is well equipped, very clean and in a great location of the the market and local shops and restaurants.
