I can’t actually live there

restaurant and room
very difficult to find, down a dead end road with no obvious signs. Don’t go unless you are totally able bodied

This place is amazing. What a find!! I loved the aesthetic of the entire property. Well thought through with beautiful attention to detail. I made my way up to the restaurant and had dinner (at the bistro) which was delicious (I just wish I had taken note of the wine I had!!). As there is no-one on the hotel site I paid for dinner, breakfast and the room with dinner which meant I could leave in the morning. I would recommend the breakfast and dinner - both were delicious.
Cannot recommend this spot enough.
The directions were a little off (I think someone said previously). They do give you instructions in the confirmation, suffice to say if you come to the fork in the road you have come too far! If in doubt search for the restaurant - they can help you there.

The room and shared area were really stylish and comfortable.
It’s quite hard to reach without a car and the gate to the guest rooms was very difficult to find.

What a lovely place! As we had it completely to ourselves even lovelier.
The only thing for us were the beds - they were just too soft and we hardly got a nights sleep - I decamped to sleep in the window - but with that changed our room was stylish - inventive - cool!

Spacious room with great ambiance and helpful staff
The bed was too soft for my preference

What a fabulous hotel, we loved everything about it. The rooms are individual and wonderfully equipped. We had a huge picture window looking out over the beautiful garden. We loved the interesting and quirky fixtures and fittings, like the bedside tables made from solid blocks of wood and the numerous log chairs around the place, as well as plenty of comfortable furniture. The guests lounge is huge, again with modern comfortable furniture and a huge log fire. Breakfast was very good, if a little limited, with fresh bread, croissant, pain an chocolat, and delicious home made preserves, probably produced by their chef. There was also a good selection of teas and fresh ground coffee. They have their own gourmet restaurant in a large modern building, separate from the hotel, but only a couple of minutes walk away, either up through the garden when it's light, or by road, if it's dark. We ate there and the food and wine were superb, the decor lovely and the attention from the waiting staff exceptional. It wasn't cheap, the meal cost more than the accommodation, but if I say it was worth it, you'll know how good it was! Needless to say, we'll be back!
Not really a negative comment, but we struggled to find the hotel, which is set in its own beautiful woodland, behind solid brown metal electric gates, with no name on them! Fortunately, my wife speaks some French, and was able to ask a local. I also think their sat nav coordinates are about 100 metres out, which didn't help, but not a big deal.

Everything about this place is amazing. From the location to the staff to the comfort of the rooms. Excellent.
Super dog friendly and secure parking. Get dinner in the sources restaurant, it’s amazingly good.
Nothing. Only thing I might suggest is a sign on the gate.

Quite nice location with good ambience around.
Room got quite warm during the day, no air-conditioning. There should be ironing facility to do up clothes.
Since the manager is at restaurant, there should be someone to take care of guests requirements.
Safe locker in the room for keeping valuables is MUST.
