About this bed and breakfast

Recently restored 16 th. century house, built on the site of an ancient 11th Century Muslim Palace. Located in the centre of Toledo old town, near the Cathedral. It is on one of the main streets used by anyone wishing to fully visit the city.

We had the pleasure of staying at Hospederia Casa de Cisneros, this incredible 10-bedroom hotel in Toledo, Spain and it exceeded all of our expectations. The location couldn’t have been better—right next to the stunning Toledo Cathedral, offering breathtaking views of the city and the cathedral from the rooftop terrace. It was such a joy to relax up there and take in the beauty of the surroundings. The hotel itself has an authentic, charming feel that really captures the spirit of Toledo. Every corner of the space felt thoughtfully designed, making it truly unique. It was also impeccably clean, which made the stay even more comfortable. What made this place stand out even more was the friendly and welcoming staff. From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond to make us feel at home, offering great recommendations and always being available to help. The breakfast served each morning was delicious, with a variety of fresh options to start the day off right - don’t miss the chance to dine there! Overall, I can’t recommend this hostel enough for anyone visiting Toledo. Whether you’re here for the history, the views, or just a relaxing stay, this place offers it all with warmth, authenticity, charm and an excellent location.

This is a great option if you love historic buildings.

15th century building lovingly restored, full of antiques and antique reproductions. Great central location right by the cathedral. Large comfortable bed. Balconies in room. Warm reception. Rooftop terrace glorious at night with cathedral lit up. Daily housekeeping. Breakfast on offer with flexible options at a sensible price. Air conditioning a godsend in 102 degree weather.

Received notification the day of arrival requesting time of arrival when I had already messaged it. Incense odor throughout property. Shower with one glass wall that I kept running into, and one shower curtain with a mildew odor. Small bathroom.

La verdad nos gustó todo a nosotros nos gustan los hoteles de este estilo .Recomendable 100x100 y el personal un 10 .La limpieza un 10 y está en el centro y casco antiguo .Unas vistas preciosas al atardecer y una tranquilad Te transportas a la edad Medieval es como una ciudad de Jerusalén pero a lo Español Recomendable.

The location is right next to the cathedral. views from the roof are exceptional. The staff is kind and welcoming. The interior or charming.

one can hear a bit between the rooms (or unavoidable because of the space and structure). it is not a problem if guests are considerate. other than that it is very quiet.

Terrific location, quiet property, comfortable bed!

I was a bit nervous about the accommodation as I booked an interior room with only a window in the atrium, but the property was so quiet, the bed so comfortable, and I slept 13 hours the night I was there! The location cannot be beat - it is right in the heart of Toledo. As such, I was able to pop in and out of the property during the day and not carry anything around with me. Staff were kind and helpful. I don't speak any Spanish and we were able to communicate, in the case of the breakfast staff through hand gestures. Breakfast was not included in the price but was only a couple of euros for coffee and toast and so convenient. I would definitely stay here again.

An atmospheric house in the heart of Toledo.

This hotel is in the perfect location, right by the cathedral, which we had a good view of from our bedroom. The building is very old and full of character. There is a lovely rooftop terrace but unfortunately it was too cold to spend any time there, except to take photos. The staff were friendly and helpful.

It was difficult to drive to the property because there are many winding narrow streets. The staff were able to help us park outside briefly to load and unload. The breakfast was fairly basic.

This is a really charming place to stay and it has bags of character. It's in the perfect spot if you're sightseeing and it's just a hilly 20 minute walk from the most gorgeous train station I've ever seen. The bed, bathroom and shower were all good and the balcony offers a view over the cathedral. Despite it being carnival when we were there, it wasn't noisy. Breakfast is available downstairs and you pay for what you have. This can get expensive if you have a few things but there's no real alternative for breakfast super close (although plenty of options if you walk a few more blocks).

You have to ask for a hairdryer from reception. On realising this, we went down but there was nobody on reception and had to go down again with wet hair in the morning. Ask for one when you check in. I would also have loved to have been given a paper map and a bit of tourist info on check-in. Apart from those two small things, we loved our stay.

friendly, helpful staff; great location with up-close views of the cathedral from bedroom windows; historic building with many careful and authentic touches in the room decor; fantastic rooftop terrace with city views; continental breakfast included

although the room was lovely and spacious,: there were no comfortable places to sit or stow suitcases; not many plugs for charging phones etc; limited places to hang towels or set toiletries. also, there was a very bright, motion-sensitive light in the entry way that came on if one got up in the night. small things!

Beautiful, compact room with a terrific view. Very clean. Hotel staff was lovely. The hotel itself was charming, heritage and well preserved. Stunning rooftop terrace. Make sure to go up at night. Location right in the middle of the oldest part of town.

Charming historic property. Beautiful room with a comfortable bed and bath. Exceptional rooftop terrace with views, views, views in the shadow of the cathedral. Location is in the heart of Toledo, next to the cathedral.

Shower was a bit small. Wifi signal was a bit weak.

Ideal location in a fabulous city

Location was fabulous. Staff very helpful and friendly. Atmospheric historical building with beautiful furniture. Wonderful roof terrace with fantastic views of the cathedral and alcazar, particularly in the evening.

The rooms and the bathroom are extremely small. There is no front desk. They practically give you a key to the bulding. I needed toilet paper and there was no one to get if for me.

Archbishop's luxury

Support from the crew! Warm, pleasant, helpful, guessing what you need before you word it. Incredible historical architecture and items in the room and elsewhere. Location - we could see the entrance to the Toledo Cathedral from our windows (Cisneros room)!!! And now the bed - huge, heavenly comfortable mattress and matching pillows. Still more - the terrace with views of both the Cathedral and Alkazar, especially enchanting in the night when lillumination is on (it goes off 11 pm sharp so plan things accordingly). Views in the morning are great as well when it's sunny.
