The staff was super nice and helpful. The room service was top and for a reasonable price. The room was cleaned often. There was a security box available.
I have contradictory feelings about Amarilia hotel. The staff was -- with no doubt -- giving a service expected for a 4-star hotel. However, the restaurant and the room was only 3-star. The breakfast had terrible instant coffee and many products were from the day before, the orange juice was not fresh but from the bottle. The room was small, with no couch/sofa, but the worst part is that the balcony has a view to an empty lot, NOT to the sea as expected from the pictures. In fact, you could just see the sea in between some trees. This is very disappointing considering that I paid extra to have a room with a direct sea view.

The clean environment, helpful staff and breakfast and snack available where great.
I found our room a little small

Near the airport and overlooking the beach
The parking was a bit hit and miss. Not at the property but on the street, which is fine if it’s not a holiday when all of Athens comes to the beach that day.

Nice vibe and friendly front desk staff
Noisy A/C unit in the bedroom

The hotel deserves its 4 stars.
Breakfast offers a greek yogurt corner paired with the standard international foods you'd expect from a 4 star hotel.
Free beaches with public umbrellas (also free) are available just crossing the street. I did not try the divani beach and sunbeds but honestly I doubt it would have been wroth it.
The general area has a few restaurants, but taxis (lots in the area or called using Uber) are cheap, so you can get to Glyfalda or Vouliagmeni spending about 5€. To get to the acropolis I paid 24€ and for the lake (worth the visit) something like 4€.
The staff also offered me a superior room for no extra charge, and things like that do not happen so often anymore :)
Pre-covid the hotel offered a sun towel to take to the beach for free, but I think for now they can't do it anymore. Other than that I can only say that it's for sure the best value for money in the area.

Breakfast was nice.
Women in reception wasn't kind. Hotel dont have any car parking. Hotel guests must leave their cars outside on the street.

The sea view room
The breakfast was terrible, the noise of the work in next room in the morning.

nice rooms
they say they have a gym, pool, and sauna, all were not available due to renovation but they don’t tell you that in bookings. the gym is terrible !!!! one treadmill for the entire hotel, and it’s ancient and hardly working!

The bed in our standard room was super comfortable. The lobby and bar are sort of modern swish.
The breakfast was motel-like basic, served in a sad looking conference-type room by bored staff. The coffee was rubbish: Nescafe auto machine and no decaf unless you want powdered sachet yik. Fresh brewed decaf or fresh brewed anything was extra and had to be ordered from the bar. Come on, people! It's 2022. Getting good coffee on the go at breakfast is the bare minimum for hotel positioning itself as a decent bolthole.
Our standard room was small and had only one bedside cabinet so things had to go on the floor by your bed. It was appointed with paper cups next to a mini kettle. Tacky.
I assume part of the hotel had been renovated – lobby, reception, lifts, corridors, bar – and then some rooms like ours felt like an old-fashioned motel on the M1. That said, the room was still comfortable and the bed was very comfortable, so I would return.

Breakfast was good, except for the breakfast box on race day, not a breakfast that is good for a sports event like half iron man. As most of the clients over the weekend were specific for the event, it might have made sense to have a early breakfast
Tea and coffee to be replenished in the rooms would be nice, not only day one. Not expensive as many dont use it. I didnt like finding an apple seed in my bed, where I never ate an apple while in Greece

The placement of the hotel
A lot of children shouting and running, no reactions from the staff

In general, very friendly staff. The room was very clean. The breakfast was ample and delicious. The public beach was only a short walk away from the hotel.
The airconditioning remained on the whole time - there is only the choice of having it up on high, or on low. Guests should be able to turn the airconditioning on/off as needed themselves. I had to ask for it at the reception so found this quite restricting. Also, It would be nice if a clothes hanging rack could be provided on the balcony as swimming clothes tend not to dry in the bathroom.
