Good hotel for a short stay, kind and helpful staff. Some restaurants and shops are in the nearby and the main railway station with the airport bus is very close to the hotel. Many tourist sights are close to the hotel. The shower was good, the room was clean and had much sunlight.
I had to pay all amount before reaching the hotel. The price was too high. The room was enough small for a double room. The hotel area is not the best and the safest for tourists, but if you don`t walk on late evening, it is ok.

Very comfortable beds, and good location, close to the train station but also close to the main sights and attractions.

Excellent location, friendly staff
the sheets in the beds and towels in the bathroom were perfectly clean. I had the impression that the blankets were not fresh

Very helpful, very friendly, very professional staff...very clean and a great location near P.Principe train station and near multiple restaurants and cafes..

Location close to Genova Piazza Principe Station and to city centre
Receptionist gave us lots of information about visiting the old city
Good selection of places to eat and drink nearby
Don't waste 7 euros on the hotel breakfast. There are plenty of other better options very close by.
No glasses for water in the room.

the staff were great and location very handy to the train station
very noisy street traffic and virtually no sound proofing so we could hear lots of noise from the other rooms

location.
too noisy during the early morning.

all was good
The Light in the room was very bad. Not sure if it was the color of the walls, or the light bulbs, other than that ok...

We had a quiet room with nice look into the courtyard. Don't expect frills, but there is everything that is required, and the room is spacious and has a nice feeling. Friendly staff and 5 minutes walking from the station, into the direction of the city center.
For a short stay, an ideal place if your budget is limited.
Nothing! The rooms on the street side may suffer some noise from passing buses, so you may want to ask for a room overlooking the courtyard.
3.8
It is located at a very convenient place.
Cleanliness was quite good. Everyday they come for cleaning, but they do not ask if you want your room to be cleaned or not. (No Do Not Disturb sign)
The main issue is that you do not get much sunlight in your room since the street/alley is somehow confined by other buildings, and rooms are not very fancy and you do not have so much space.

Location - close to railway station and not so far from city center with main historical attractions; nice wi-fi; friendly stuff

Very kind staff, clean room and good airconditioning. Very good localisation.
The only weird thing was the rule of leaving our door keys by the front door in a basket. Person at portineria can overlook if someone is getting the wrong key number - the basket is not AT the front desk, but close by. I think leaving keys at the front desk, with the staff, would be safer.

The location of the hotel is perfect and the staff are really nice and helpful.

Staff very nice and helpful. Rooms are very clean. We got a chip-key to get inside the hotel even after closing at 12pm. Very content, would recommend.
No parking. Garage is expensive and far away. The staff informs you well about it though.
We were in room 312, our room smelled od shisha tabacco. Very nice and clean though.
We didn’t get enough towels - 4 people in room, only 2 towels.

Super close to the train station. Very convenient. Also the building has a good atmosphere because of the nice details (paint and nice ceilings)
The staff was super cranky and none of them speak English. Every request or question led to a big sigh and the feeling you are causing them a LOT of trouble, instead of keeping a hospitality mindset. (That’s their job, right?)

Hotel took care of our things after checkout, quiet surroundings
Mold on the walls, wooden bathroom door frame falling apart, cheap shower fittings also falling apart, dirty floor and hair on bed sheets on the first day, corrected on the next day.
Bad odour from air conditioning, a “double bed” was just two beds stacked close together.
Only one person spoke English and was barely on premises, however staff was friendly and helpful on all occasions

I didn’t like anything. My experience at this hotel
Was rather miserable to the point my friend and I didn’t feel safe. The first night was ok. Receptionist only spoke ITALIAN and had a very rude attitude. The second day, after our day exploring the city, we came back to our cleaned room. I then realized my gold necklaces were missing. My friend and I looked everywhere in the room to no avail. It was around 9-10 pm and Went down 5 floors and told the receptionist that my gold necklaces were missing and he answered EXTREMELY RUDELY and said ‘tomorrow 10am, talk Donato, or some name along the lines. We couldn’t talk with Donato because we were off for a day trip and needed to catch out early 8am train to Monterosso. We came back at 10pm, room was cleaned and my necklaces were still missing. On our last day, we checked out and left at 7:20am. At around noon, the receptionist sent an email, IN ITALIAN, with the photo of my two necklaces. The text said: your necklaces were found. The people
At the hotel who had access to my room stole my necklaces. It is rather bizarre that they magically appeared 5 hrs after we checked out yet the day before when they cleaned the room, they found nothing. The room
was tiny and only had a desk, a bed and a tiny piece of furniture. My friend and I looked endlessly for my necklaces various times. Unfortunately I didn’t have time to go to the police station. I would avoid staying at this hotel at all cost.

See attached image: these thieves even put my stolen necklaces in a jewelry bag that I have left in the room because it was trash along with a pair of sandals.

We got the room on the top of the hotel with the perfect view of the city. It was super central, but not noisy at all.
Cleaning service was nice as well. Air conditioning was silent and comfortable as well.
If someone will use the stairs doors on the corridor, those doors can hit hard and could be heard in your room during night. Please note that this is historical building, so wall could be thin :)

Super friendly staff who looked after out bags in the hotel the day we checked out. Excellent location and great value for money.

Old Rooms, expensive for what it is.

well placed, near the old town and port, , but at the same time free from excessive noises. I have missed my breakfast at the hotel but with the virus pandemia hotels have to face very difficult conditions of survival. I would llike to come back, in case I come back to the Albergo Della Posta. Besides, you have in front a little bar restaurant whi ch provides excelent breakfast and nice company.
what I have said: not having a lift, not having breakfast.
