Sehr gute Lage im Weinberg, schönes Poolhouse und Poolarea
….ungepflegt, abgewohnt, tlw. unfreundliches und inflexibles Personal( verrostete Spiegelablagen, defekte Glühbirnen, nicht schließende Türen, etc.)

Location is good, friendly staff
Room dirty, towels were dirty, cockroaches in bathroom, showers and bath did not drain, door broken

The room was perfect and exceeded our exportations. The Estate was very quite and we loved that because we stayed in one of the honeymoon suites and wanted privacy. It was just the restaurant that was disappointing a bit, it was not operational for dinner and we had to drive to to another establishment for that, also the breakfast served in the morning was very underwhelming, that could be improved. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay, special thanks to Sevodia who was very attentive and made sure the whole experience amazing with her exceptional customer service.
The breakfast at the inhouse restaurant. Really didn't enjoy it, the variety was somewhat limited, could be improved.

Would like to have a hairdryer in the room.

Extremely friendly and accommodating host.
Rooms were spacious with all the required amenities.
Good breakfast with great coffee.
Wifi in the room struggled to connect.

set in beautiful surroundings with lovely gardens and mirrored walls within hedges.
- the breakfast staff did not offer a pleasant experience at all. the waitress/hostess was not suited for the hospitality industry. furthermore, also forgetting bits of our order - which was quite straight forward (all had the same meal, and all but one had the same drink).
- no security - all gates left open over night
- the rooms we had looked a bit scarce
- the towels were dirty and also one of the pillow covers

Good location and wonderful room and surroundings. The Luxury suit/honeymoon suit is a lovely and spacious room with all you need for a romantic time with your spouse.
The night shift staff by the name of Solomon is very friendly and went out of his way to make our staff comfortable.
The breakfast was very limiting with only two options that didn’t have much to it. For the cost that one pays, the breakfast is below standard.
kitchen staff where not as friendly as one would expect for a morning welcome and boost to a day.
We had chongololos in the honey moon suit and rats in the roof that kept making noise at night.

Beautiful landscape and beautifully curated rooms and wedding venue
The luxury suite I was in needs some maintenance. There was a huge crack on the wall, spiders in the sink and a few items need to be upgraded. The bath tub positioning just doesn’t work, ergonomics weren’t considered…the wall shelf just gets in the way of bathing. Breakfast was an absolute disappointment and it would be better if they don’t offer it at all because it’s obvious that they are cutting costs in that department. 2 options that aren’t really options which are hot or cold options which is either a granola cup with fruit or 1 slice of toasted sourdough with scrambled egg and 2 slices of bacon which didn’t even look appetising and it’s filing. The dining venue was half flooded with water which came through a leak on the ceiling and looked uninviting. I witnessed a very painful experience where an old lady with an injury had to crawl through the stairs because it’s not wheelchair friendly or allows any aid device with wheels to go in with ease. This lady had to go through this experience to get served a slice of bread with eggs and bacon? No garnishing? They need to hire professionals to deal with the food and let the office staff stay in the office. There was no one at check out because the staff had to serve breakfast. Beautiful venue but the rest was very disappointing

Beautiful Scenery, close to all the activities of Stellenbosch & the Wine Route, Great rooms, friendly staff, great simple breakfast.
No generator or other means to make coffee.

Beautiful setting
The rooms need to updated. The property in need of maintance! Most of the facilities not open or maintained. Needs solar / generator.

Peaceful room and surroundings with a very comfortable bed. And a beautiful breakfast option.
Cleanliness of the shower could have been better as there was hair leftover from previous guests in the drain, also upon check-in we were notified the restaurant and wine deck was closed and there was nowhere to buy snacks/wine on the property. We also we not given a tour of the grounds and amenities and only found out upon check-out that the property had a stunning pool, if we had known this upon arrival we would have made use of the amenities.

Breakfast although small was enough. Location was perfect and the actually place was beautiful, well maintained, safe and clean.
Housekeeping could improve. Room and toilet floors wasn’t swept properly upon arrival nor after housekeeping left the following morning. Also plates and glasses weren’t washed up the following morning.

Beautiful setting. Spacious and comfortable rooms with big comfy beds. I can imagine that it would be an incredible wedding venue!

I liked the farm style feel and the modern set up of the rooms. Also liked the quiet during the day. The breakfast was simple but so fresh!
The shower pressure was very low. The frogs by the lake croak all night and you can hear it very clearly from the room. We could hear our neighbours watching tv and speaking.

Great location, stunning surroundings.
One of the best things about our previous stay was the Farmer’s Pantry - the restaurant is now closed and there were only 2 breakfast options which was disappointing compared to the full menu, and fantastic drink options that were available last time we stayed.
We really enjoyed our stay last time, but perhaps just not as good as we had remembered. The pool was green when we arrived and then out of use at the time we wanted to swim due to the chemicals that were put in.

Very kind and care taking staff and management. The location is beautiful, quiet/peaceful. Stellenbosch is a 15 min drive.

The setting is amazing and the room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was limited but very good. I would recommend the venue if you are looking for a place to stay
There was nothing not to like
