El hotel situado en medio de la naturaleza, el servicio y las instalaciones, la atención estupenda

Sub par quality for too high price.

Beautiful area and swimming pool. Spacious room. The Venezuelan chef makes excellent dinners. I was offered a free horse ride through the hills.

Staff in general kind but absolutely not customer oriented. Asking for towels or clean bed linnen had to repeated over and over again and still was never completed. Restaurant bill was charged twice, but no prompt refund organised by general manager. Many things are malfunctioning or are broken. Poor maintenance of room facilities and pool equipment and garden furniture. Location is far away from any store or city. Without transportation you are stuck on the premisses.

NOTHING SHORT OF AMAZING!

I dont even know where to start. This was the most amazing stay we've had in a long time. Surrounded by nature, yet secluded and safe, the staff were so lovely and attentive, anything you need they will bring to you at any time. Food, drinks were amazing. A perfect provate retreat. So beautiful! Just minutes to Tayrona National Park which is a must-do! Towns not far either.

A softer bed, but that's just my personal preference.

A Relaxing Resort in a stunning location

All the facilities were first class. In particular, the swimming pool was excellent, and grounds provided a haven for birds, including humming birds. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Absolutly loved our stay, favorite accomindation in Colombia by far!

The grounds are absolutely breathtakingly beautiful! The staff went above and beyond, making us feel so comfortable and welcoming. The pool has so many different types of massage, which was needed after a long day of hiking the Tayrona loop. The hot tub does take an hour to heat up, but that was no problem at all for us. Just let them know if you plan on using it in the evening and they’re happy to turn it on for you! I think it’s great they’re not wasting power to heat up multiple hot tubs and use precious resources, when not in use. The food was delicious too! I can’t really say enough about Kantawa, I wish we spent our whole vacation here! Highly recommend!

It was very pleasant and we had an excellent massage right by the river.

Nice location with steps down to a beautiful river. Attractive grounds and comfortable rooms.

Having access to filtered water in our room would have been good. Sometimes staff was hard to find when we needed something. Some sort of intercom in the room or someone posted by the pool would have helped.

It was very nice for them to not only make transportation arrangements but also held our luggage while we were in Tayron

The staff at the front desk was so kind and patient with us. The location to Tayrona Nature Park was also very nice.

The 5star potential

Staff is excellent, truly trying to make your experience comfortable with the resources they have. The amenities were nice.

This hotel has the potential to be a 5 star! Its grounds are beautiful but a little run down. Some minor fixes and maintenance, and this can truly be a top tiered hotel. A little structure in the processes in place would have been nice. The spa treatment was great but lacked coordination and proper planning for the turkish bath/sauna/jacuzzi. Also, a good deep clean is needed in rooms and jacuzzi. Shower in our room lacked hot water but was hot enough outside that it didn't bother us.

Cozy, but super overpriced

We chose this hotel for one night, it is in the middle of two entrance to Tayrona. Calbazo nearby, and main entrance about 10minutes ride. This hotel reminds me a motel, but with big pool and jacuzzis. River sound lets you relax, very calm atmosphere, only 10 rooms in the hotel. Stuff very friendly.

Hotel is old and looks abandoned, our room was full of mosquitos, and very noisy from fish reservoir and lizards. Very overpriced for that hotel condition.

Not quite the hotel to relax but but was a good stay

Clean hotel and has a spa. The outdoor spa experience was nice.

We booked the room with the jacuzzi but then they told us it's not working and when we requested to use the external ones they initially pushed back but we insisted and they they found a way to manage.

Superb

The Spa hotel is amazing. The staff wants to make your time amazing too. We loved the Pool and jacuzzi and the beds + room was super. We had a really nice stay and sleep.

The restaurant closes early (9pm) which is a shame because there is nothing else in the area to explore/have a drink

Nice, private getaway. Would come again.

Very good food. Nice, warm swimming pool water. The river is also quite warm and enjoyable. Excellent natural landscape and private getaway. Turkish bath is very cool.

Some of the water massage features did not fully work. The food is very very expensive. Sauna does not get hot enough.

A,Beautiful Spa in the Park

Peaceful location Staff great special mention to Jason and the management for the exceptional service. This place has 5 Star service. Drinks are great food selection is also good. The massage by the river was so good we had it again the next day. Used all the facilities sauna steam room pool they are all top notch. I would come back in a heartbeat. Loved the place.

The last day a family with screaming kid and father whistling and yelling at the pool. This place is supposed to be a,spa. A place of quite relaxation. I would suggest no children allowed or at least some sort of noise regulation.

stunning property. the staff were also so amazing. Yaiservl was so accommodating and wonderful. He arranged a private romantic dinner for my boyfriends birthday and wow it was perfect! We also had an amazing massage with Yvette and the team arranged for a night jacuzzi. Such a great staff team!

Amazing place, situated very conveniently between the two tayrona entrances. Next to the pool area there is a lovely small river where you can also hang out!

Exceeded our Expectations!!!!!!

Kantawa definitely exceeded our expectations in every single way. Form the moment we walked into the property we were greeted with enthusiasm by a really caring staff. The food was exceptional and the service was top notch and the facilities were very complete. The property has a beautiful pool with Jets, the rooms are space and beds are very comfy. They have a sauna, steam room, and an area for massages, a beautiful river passing through the property and beautiful nature surrounding the hotel. José, Maru and Jaiser among others made our stay unforgettable. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone that wants to relax but at the same time being close to Tayrona park. honestly speaking one of the hotels I’ve ever stayed. I cannot wait to come back!

Exceptional

We LOVE Kantawa!!!! We try to celebrate our Anniversary there every time we come to Colombia!!!! It's very comfortable and stunning!!!! The staff is very professional, yet sweet and attentive.

Poor

We had a nice welcoming when we arrived. The hotel has good facilities but needs better care, the swimming pool was full of leaves and insects so we decided not to use it. They prepared a nice to-go sandwich for the morning of our departure.

The hotel is expensive for what it offers as services. There is no active reception, if you need something you have to go after people in the restaurant, which are really slow. They don’t have an adequate sense of time. They usually stand in a corner and talk to each other without prioritizing their guests. During our three night stay two times the internet was not working for half a day and there was no one there who could help. If you need to take a flight the next day, don’t count on the internet to work to complete your checkin and documents. We had to go to the airport earlier to do this using the (slow) wife there. Also no one knows English well so if you’re not Spanish speaker you will have a hard time there. We asked one of the staff to warm up the sauna but it was not turned on, we asked them again and nothing happened. We asked them to pay the bills the night before we leave since we had an early flight the next day, but they postponed it to next morning. In the morning they made us wait for half an hour because they showed up late and then didn’t know how the payments machine works. They knew we were in a hurry to get to the airport. We were also delayed for our visit to Tayrona park because the breakfast service was slow, even though the staff was aware of our departure time and we showed up at breakfast half an our in advance. The key system for our room door was also not working very well, making it difficult to lock the door. In general everything simply felt unreliable.

Amazing and relaxing stay can't wait to go back for longer!

Everything was amazing! Especially David he ses he's just a waiter but they have him doing everything and he's amazing at it! He truly believes in great service and is there to accommodate ur every need no matter what we asked it always seemed to be him getting it done and coordinating it and we had an amazing time! From the food to the property itself and the spa and rooms all were simple amazing! There is a river on the property to swing and its quite nice. And def try the paella it was delicious! And so was my late night hamburger. The pool was fun especially at night with the lights. Its simple a very relaxing and romantic place! Def need to book and the jacuzzi in the room was a fun bonus!

Because it's rhe rainforest there are a lots of bugs at night and it can get humid after it rains so be ready and they are in the prosses of renovation but not the current hotel just adding on more for the guest to enjoy but u won't notice but can't wait for it to be done to go back for a longer stay! But there really wasent anyting i dident like that was on them at all. Amzing place!
