The restaurant at the hotel was good.
Room was okay
A little walk towards the down town.

Loved our room, which was well laid out and had utensils enough for 2 people. The food at the restaurant is always good, we would at least order something for takeaway if we don't have time to dine in. The staff are nice and friendly.
Using the tight individual parking garage along a busy street is always tricky with a pick-up truck, though there is option to use the communal parking space with specific hours of operation. It took us some time to get a Mexican invoice because we couldn't present a document that was not officially required by law at the time of our booking.

The free breakfast was delicious (mexican breakfast) with the orange juice and coffee. The room and hotel was exceptionally clean with very accommodating staff. The beach towels and the umbrella was also free to use daily. location was great away from the crowds with excellent restaurants close by.
The free wifi and netflix was excellent. air conditioning was excellent. overall excellent place.
security of the property was excellent. adults only excellent too.
loud car traffic from the main road outside the building but there is nothing that can be done about that.

I like the room, it was clean and the restaurant was great for dinner. I didn't enjoy the complimentary breakfast.
The wifi was not great and they don't have a lift so you have to carry your suitcases up a few flights of stairs

Staff was super friendly and I liked the "apartment" style rooms - would have been useful for a group. They said the pool was not heated, but I hopped in at the end of the day and the sun had made it the perfect temperature!! Shower had incredible water pressure, seriously - as someone who travels quite a bit, this was a pleasant surprise. Wifi worked great, I did some work at the breakfast bar in my room with my morning coffee.
Sheets and towels were a bit worn and old. This hotel is on a very busy corner, so unfortunately it was loud until late at night and early the next morning. It's about a 30-min walk to the water area.

Room was quiet and comfy. 15 min walk into central town. Very clean
Lock on door didn't feel very secure. Pool area is in courtyard of restaurant, wouldn't use.

Quiet property. Room updated. Kitchenette. On property restaurant and bar. Easy 15 minute walk into downtown Cabo.
We had no issues or problems.

The rooms are more like apartment suites with all the amenities you need for a long stay. The wifi is great and the water is PIPING HOT. Don't get burned haha. We have no complaints. The front desk staff are great and there is a restaurant attached to the hotel. The food was good at the restaurant. I really enjoyed the pancakes. They gave us 10% discount for being guests of the hotel.
Maintenance was working late at night and we weren't aware so my wife was scared seeing someone on the roof outside the window. However, the staff spoke with him and he apologized. He didnt realize anyone was staying in that room. They also gave us free sodas because of that which we really appreciated.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. AC worked as expected. The mini-fridge was a life-saver. The view from the 3rd floor was quite nice. The room included a safe. The water pressure (including the one in the bathroom shower) was great. The grand bonus was that good quality beach umbrella and beach towels are provided free of charge. On that note: it takes ~10-15 mins to walk to the marina and another ~10-15 mins to make your way to Playa El Medano (it's just over 2 km of walking one way).
There was some confusion about the breakfast. At the time of booking my understanding (especially from previous reviews) was that a bagged breakfast is left by the door in the morning. This is no longer the case. It should be noted that the hotel restaurant (San Lucero) is now open for business and you get 10% off from anything on the menu. So you sit down and order breakfast. We prefer a "grab-and-go" type breakfast that we could eat on the beach, so it was disappointing that a bagged breakfast was no longer an option (even if we had to pay extra for it). The atmosphere at the pool area is nice, but note that you have to walk through the restaurant to get there and the pool itself is mostly decorative. Not a big deal for us as we prefer the ocean anyway. Also note that the hotel is tucked in between Calle Cabo San Lucas (one-way street into downtown) and Calle Miguel Hidalgo (one-way street out of downtown) so you have to accept that certain vehicle noise (e.g., revving engines / after-market exhausts, loud music, squeaking shocks) becomes part of the charm of being in Cabo San Lucas.

a little further from the main attractions, but it’s still okay.

Comfortable boutique hotel in a good location. The room has kitchen equipment for heating up leftover takeaway food. The restaurant serves good breakfast, which is available at a discounted rate for hotel guests. Very good a/c in the room and is more than enough to keep the summer heat at bay.
Like other guests have mentioned, if the hotel can provide a kitchen knife and dishwashing soap/sponge, this would elevate the experience. Pots and pans are mostly for heating up food if there is no knife to cook with.
