The apartment was big, has 2 bedrooms, one sleeps 4, the other 2. Kitchen with most utensils, italian coffeemaker, and Nespresso machine with some cups provided.wxtra pillows provided for beds. The beds were comfortable. It is a good location depending on where you need to be. Very close to railwaystation, ideal for making daytrips. It costs 30 min and 5 euro to get into the centre of Venice, Vicenza is only 16 min away. The host is great and helpful and clearly loves Padua!
The location, although convenient is on a big street and there are dozens of young Africans hanging around doing shady stuff. Police came once to arrest some fighting people.Altogether doable but be warned.

Great apartment, very spacious, clean, everything was great. Our host and his family were very nice and helpful. Philip told us everything to see in Padua and how best to move around the city and its surroundings. The apartment in the center of Padua allowed you to get everywhere on foot. The train station from where you can get to, for example, Venice or Verona was 300 meters from the apartment.
Italian styl and spacious and the host of course

Filippo is an exceptional host! He shares his passion for Padova with his guests via a detailed presentation upon arrival and a written guide with local insider information. We very much enjoyed each of the restaurants he recommended. The location is within walking distance of all sites of interest in the old town, and the apartment is clean and spacious with modern amenities. Free access to secure underground parking was very helpful, and a lift from the parking area direct to the apartment floor made handling luggage very easy. We had a great stay!

Fillipo met us at the front door of the building which is a 3 minute walk from Padova Train Station. He took us to the apartment and explained how everything worked. All the facilities were very clean and comfortable. Fillipo said he tried to imagine what he would need or want in our position and provided those things, such as a washing machine, detergent, a clothes airier, an iron and an ironing board. Then he showed his other amazing talent and explained the wonders of Padova. His written guide with local insider information provided us a challenging task to see or experience as many things as possible in the time we had. We did not realise how far ahead bookings were made for The Scrovegni Chapel and Museum. Everything is in walking distance but public transport is easily accessed too. Fillipo also provided us with some recommendations on where to eat.
A group of African men talked loudly most of the night (each night) and the sound carried into the apartment despite double glazed windows on that side of the apartment, they seemed to hang out across the street from the apartment.

Fillipo was very friendly and took his time to show us the apartment as well as mark out landmarks on the map and send us restaurant recommendations. His Father met us early the next day so we could get on the road. They are nice people.
The Apartment t is right by the station in a really rough area of town. We could see many drug dealers out our window as well as loitering around our porch gambling when we returned to the apartment t after Dinner. Someone was making crazy loud noises in the hallway late at night and even though our car was in a gated parking garage, we still were concerned about the security of our car.
It was not an ideal situation at anytime, but it was especially scary when traveling with kids.

Filippo was excellent with hospitality, communication before & during with helpful arrival directions & photos for parking access. No ZTL issues. Lockup car park in the building and lift access to apartment so no luggage hassles. Supermarket around the corner in the main street about 5 minute walk. Easy walking distance to the city. Apartment was clean, quiet, comfortable plus a washing machine. Thank you Filippo for a lovely stay and all the bonus touring information of Padua.

First time I’m handing out 10/10:
With a family of 3, we were looking for a (comfortable) place letting us visit both Padua and Venice in a convenient way.
Arriving by car, we had free access to a secured underground garage, easily accessible from the apartment.
The apartment is located near the train station, which is interesting when wanting to travel to Venice by train (train ride takes 28 min to get to the center of Venice).
Regarding the host, no complaints whatsoever! Filippo is correct, attentive and very reactive (he would usually answer our questions in minutes, throughout our stay).
Our host would also have a (personalized) list of instructions ready before arrival (train schedules, places to visit in Padua, restaurants,…), something we could only appreciate.
Last but not least Filippo showed his generosity, when inviting us for breakfast the day of our departure.
With respect to the apartment: The apartment is clean, spacious, safe, very well insulated against street noise, goes equipped with 3 air conditioning units (in each bed rooms and the dining/sitting room) and all listed amenities worked properly.
In a nutshell, definitely a place where we would happily return

The apartment is very spacious and clean and has everything you might need. Filippo and his family were very helpful and gave us great advice on local places of interest, restaurants etc. Definitely the best host if you want to explore Padua! The communication with Filippo was very fast and efficient and there was no question or request he left unanswered.
The neighborhood is a bit noisy. It would be nice if the apartment had more equipment for families with little kids (like baby crib or high chair).

This charming apartment is perfectly located. Just around the corner from the train station and 15min. to Padova town centre. It is lovingly furnished, extremely quiet and includes nice touches like coffee, mineral water & books/info about Padova.
The owner was helpful with tips about sightseeing and great places to eat out.
This apartment is a wonderful base to explore Padova and also interesting towns nearby like Venice, Vicenza, Ravenna, Bologna (all within 2hrs travel).
The whole family loved it and we will hopefully be returning again soon.
