Good hospitality *until checkout
Never leave them deposit when you check-in. I registered my card and left 50GBP of deposit to them.
I didn't spend my money for anything in the hotel during my stay, but they charged 41.03GBP to my room! *maybe any other customer did it or they just made a mistake.
I asked for a refund to them over one week ago, but they haven't dealt with it so far and they even sent me an invoice of it! This is kind of fraud.
I'm waiting so long for it to be solved.

The spa was closed, the breakfast was average - limited vegan options and managed to be both burnt and raw.

The location is fabulous as it’s close to Liverpool Street
I stayed in room 510 and suffered 9 mosquito bites from the room, I’m clearly not the first person this would have happened to. The rooms should be sprayed by housekeeping.
Also, I asked about upgrading to a family room and was advised it was £150 per night. If the facilities were working then I would understand this pricing but they don’t even have a spa, gym or pool in working order.

Globalement une très bonne expérience: confort, calme, gentillesse du personnel, localisation et excellents petits déjeuner ont été les "highlights" du séjour dans cet hotel
Si vous êtes en mode décontracté, le restaurant à l'hôtel en fin de semaine le soir n'est pas l'endroit où vous vous sentirez le plus à l'aise... C'est djet et habillé même si tout le monde est accepté... Prenez votre tenue jetset ou aller du côté de Shoreditch pour dîner...

If you want a fun stay in London, do not stay at this hotel. Way better service at every other hotel. I have stayed in London.

Die Lage ist spitze.
Unser erstes Zimmer war für diese Preiskategorie eine absolute Frechheit. Außerdem stank die gesamte vierte Etage nach Abfluss. Unser zweites Zimmer „Upgrade“ war schmutzig und die Ausstattung ebenfalls sehr fragwürdig. Die Gardinen ungewaschen, Flecken von Gläsern oder Tassen auf Fensterbrettern und Tischen, der Boden im Bad beschädigt, keine WC-Bürste vorhanden, kein Föhm im Bad, passend zur vorhandenen Steckdose, Flecken an den Tapeten, Klimaanlage hat nicht korrekt funktioniert (wenn sie an war, war es wie im Kühlschrank, war sie aus, dann war es wie in der Sauna) Das Personal war ebenfalls fraglich, eher sehr ungebildet und überhaupt nicht entsprechend einem 5-Sterne-Hotel. Kinderunfreundlichkeit wurde hier erfunden. Warum dürfen Kinder nicht in den Pool oder auf die Dachterrasse? Soll das ein Witz sein? Frechheit! Einzig das Frühstück war gut und lecker, aber auch hier gab es Probleme mit dem Personal und Kaffee, Tee und andere Bestellungen wurden gerne vergessen. Der Restaurantchef (rote Brille) hat alles gegeben aber kämpft gefühlt einen Kampf gegen Windmühlen. Wäre er nicht, dann wäre das Hotel für uns komplett durchgefallen und ich hätte mir mein Geld von Booking.com zurückgeholt.

I have contacted the management to facilitate my friend's engagement. I cannot but express my profound gratitude to the staff and exceptionally Cameila who was attentive to details & understanding. She made sure everything went as planned. My friend's room was beautifully decorated & with complimentary drinks. My friend & his bride loved every bit of their stay.
Daniel the concierge is such a pleasant man. It was my second time meeting him. He is always cheerful and helpful.
The rooftop bar is lovely and such a nice place to behold the sunset.

They got permanently service interruption of elevators with the result that we had to wait plenty of times longer than 7-10min per ride to the upper floors. Fortunately, I took it as a sports challenge and climbed up the stairs.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and very respectful. They met our special requests (it was a birthday occasion)in terms of the room and the welcome. The club lounge with complimentary drinks and snacks was an extra bonus.
The technology for controlling the lighting, air conditoning, and services (eg, electronic panel to indicate room free/ do not disturb, etc) seemed unnecessarily complicated. Our room wasn't serviced one day, but was attended to immediately we advised the desk.

I had a problem with the toilet, constantly making a noise and we couldn’t silence it. We informed staff the next day and it was ignored it seemed

2. Club lounge access and the attentive staff. I did notice the snacks on offer have reduced compared to our first visit.

There was no AC control panel in our rooms. It was inconvenient having to call or go down to reception each time we needed to adjust the temperature in our rooms to be comfortable.

I highly recommend this hotel. Staff are lovely, particular a lovely lady called January. I requested an early check in and she very kindly accommodated this request, she also decorated the room with balloons and left chocolates and juice for us. I had emailed to say the weekend in London was a celebration for my daughter who had just finished her exams. The location of this hotel is excellent, 6 mins walk from Liverpool street station. Area is very safe. Multiple restaurants, pubs, shops within walking distance. Pool, sauna, steam room, gym an added bonus. Rooftop restaurant very good. Highly recommend and will be back.

The room was spacious and most of the staff are very friendly.
The floor heating in the bathroom was not working and we had called twice. But no one showed up to fix and that was not resolved.
Also, the water from the bath was cold even though we had waited for a good period of time.

It’s a beautiful property very modern and clean
The only thing I could fault is that the bed was very squashy (it’s nice to lounge in but I prefer a firmer mattress) and the pillows were a little thin

Spa - it was extremely hot and the chlorine levels gave us both a migrane. Other guests were commenting on this too

Lovely hotel, modern and clean. Friendly doorman and receptionists. First impressions were wonderful......Great location as the underground is only 5mins walk. The food at breakfast was AMAZING.
There's lots of random young folk wandering in and out of the hotel going to the rooftop bar and it gets quite rowdy. Getting served up there at the weekend isn't easy, bar staff ignored us (we are middle aged)in favour of the non resident young folk waving their credit cards over the bar. It was intimidating and not relaxing at all. Very disappointed as we booked the hotel because of the rooftop bar and pool. Pool was nice but had way too much chlorine in the water, as did the jacuzzi, and our eyes were stinging with it. We use a lot of spa hotels and the chlorine amounts used here were definitely much much higher so avoid if you are sensitive to the fumes. The room itself has no light switch at the bathroom, which made it really difficult if you needed to go during the night as you end up switching on all the lights from the control panel and waking the other person up. There was no climate control in the room and someone kept rattling the internal door of the (locked) adjoining room. Also our lights got stuck on one night (cdn't switch them off)as the control panel was rather temperamental.

We chose it specifically for the location, which was great.
The first room we were given smelt funny. We left the windows open when we left the room but when that didn't help, rang the front desk who immediately found us another room.
The clocks changed that night, and we weren't aware. Other hotels I have stayed in have made guests aware either upon check-in or with a note in the room. That would've been helpful for two overseas travellers.
I am coeliac and when we came down for breakfast, I was told there was nothing to eat. There was yoghurt and a few other bits and pieces but not really the greeting I wanted from a hotel that considers itself 5*. The dining staff seemed uninterested in helping me find something to eat which wad disappointing.

Generally run down and inacceptable level of hygiene:
- dusty room
- room windows very dirty (probably they were washed just after installation and never again)
- bathroom with unpleasant smell
- common areas (halls, lobby) dusty and not properly clean
- breakfast not properly organized, we had to wait a good 30 min before being seated
Generally, very disappointing. The 5 stars are very misleading and the value for money is low. I will not reccomend it.

The hotel its self was very impressive.. The concierge on the door a young man who opened the door was very inviting
Upon arrival, I was questioned about the payment that I had already made earlier on in the day. I then asked about use of the spa. The lady on reception looked at my room and advised me we did not have access and would have to pay an additional £50 but she would Chuck breakfast in as she could see we had opted out. We did not want breakfast as we had made a reservation elsewhere the next day . We then checked into our room. Later that afternoon we went up to the rooftop bar as this was one of the reasons I had chose this hotel . We asked one of the waiters to seat us outside. He advised he was busy but would see what he could do and to order a drink at the bar. We ordered 2 drinks which cost £37 to stand at the bar for 45 mins and the gentleman didn’t return. At this point I was not prepared to pay another £37 just to be able to sit outside so we left very disheartened. Forward to the next morning 9.15 we were awoken by someone frantically knocking on the door very loudly. My partner went to the door and was faced with one of the managers holding a clip board telling us we should have been out at 9am .. our reservation clearly stated 11am and we were hoping to have a lie in check out at 11 and be on our way. My partner went down to reception as he had been rudely awoken and reception advise they don’t no who that was but they would give us an additional hour to check out. As stated previously we had no intention to stay longer as we had prior arrangements but did not appreciate being woken at that time especially when we had dnd in the door. Working as a customer service manager myself I was appalled by the poor level of service given for a 5 star hotel. Now I may have purple hair but I felt that we were looked down upon during our stay and in several occasions it was clear that they went above and beyond for there more superior clientele.
