Very good

The house is huge! For Four friends it was perfect. The pool is big enough, and all the areas are very comfortable. We are talking about four bathrooms and and even garage, with place for four cars. The place is really nice. The owner was in contact with me all the time, it has been a wonderful welcoming and great communication.

For the price, I could have had a better stuffed kitchen, like oil, salt and so on. Also the bathroom could have more than water and towels. The entrance gate is very tricky, you need to practice a while before mastering it. The street taking to the main gate is very complicated for low cars, keep that in mind.

Superb

The host was in touch early and told me about how to get in Even i arrived late on a sunday night. The place was awesome with pool, terrace & good size rooms. The House has no AC but you could use the fan that was in every room. Place was really clean overall. I liked The location but it was a really steep walk to get to The place.

very good location, in the tourist area of Funchal, the villa was very spacious with a beautiful view of the ocean, surrounded by a banana plantation. I recommend renting a car because it has a large garage. 30 min walk distance to the center and 20 min walk to the ocean,

exceptionally spacious Full kitchen facilities Pool and outside terrace captured many hours of sunshine too. Bbq was a great addition.

Lack of air conditioning mainly. It was very hot and we only had fans in bedroom.

Great house and place to stay!

We had an incredibly nice holiday with the family, 6 adults and a small child. Where do i start - there is so much good to tell about Casa Branca! The house Casa Branca is large, there are 3 good rooms on the 1st floor, one with its own bathroom, and the others with a shared bathroom/toilet. All with good facilities and towels. All the rooms had access to a balcony and a fantastic view of either the sea or city. In addition, there were 2 more toilets. Kitchen and livingroom facilities were top notch - we missed nothing. There were, among other things, also fridge/freezer with ice cubes. There is a private parking space for the house and a washing machine. Be aware that the road to the house is very steep (generally in Funchal) but taxis can stop right outside, so in practice it is no problem. Just download the taxi-app - it's very efficient. We were outside on the terrace a lot and loved the pool and the garden furniture and sunbeds. There is room for everyone, barbecue facilities, banana plantation right next to it, beautiful and lovely. Adelino had taken good care of us with fresh fruit on arrival and all communication was perfect. The area is great, walking distance to everything. We would love to come again!!

Most of our time was spent outside in the pool and bbq area. It's was fantastic my 10yr old had so much fun.

The kitchen needs some repairs apart from that all good.

villa is amazing! it is very comfortable, clean and big. it is really much better than it looks on photos! rooms are situated on the second floor: 1 with own bathroom, 2 other rooms share bathroom. and one guest toilet is on the 1 floor. good swimming pool, terrace and barbecue zone. we enjoyed very much staying in this villa! there are everything you need in this villa. owner is very kind, and helped us with late check out. I recommend to everyone!

Great week again in the Villa, it’s central location is a real plus point

This review is for Villa B (Townhouse), the villa as always is very modern and extremely well presented, the facilities are top notice and the host (Adelino) is extremely helpful and accommodating, we will return to the villa in the future 👍🏽

The hill is a stretch and having gone with my parents in there 70’s it was at times testing. The outside space at the villa could do with in my opinion a really good jet wash but I would let either of these put anyone off.

An excellent week in a modern villa in a good location

This review is for Villa A (3 bed Villa). As per my review for villa B, both villas are very modern and extremely well presented, they are centrally located for a 20 minute walk into town or a 10 min walk the the Estrada Monumental. They are well priced and the host Adelino is extremely helpful, we stayed as two families of 6 in each villa and will return.

The hill is becoming a problem as our parents get older as it can be very demanding and in my opinion the outdoor areas for both Villa’s could do with a good jet wash but I wouldn’t let that put anyone off.

Top week after a difficult year due to COVID, have already booked again for next year 👍🏽

The property has an excellent spec and is very nice indeed. Check was easy and host was excellent. It’s located within walking distance of the city centre and also the Estrada Monumental so is ideal for getting out and about. We have booked the property (and the one next door) for next year, table tennis table in the basement was an added bonus 👍🏽

There is a very steep hill climb to the property which was a bit of an issue for one of our party and there is a large amount of building work getting done on a property behind the pool area so building is on the go 8-12:30 and 2-5 Non to Fri and was rather noisy especially in the morning if you were in either of the rear bedrooms. I also thought a bit of general maintenance and through clean of the outside area around the bbq and pool was required but it was spotless inside and it’s difficult to judge how often it’s been used of late with regards to gardening and cleaning etc

Relaxing stay, like a home from home.

Highly recommended

Fabulous house with private pool. Better than the pictures. Would definitely recommend. Not for anyone with mobility problems as there is a small steep hill up to the house. En-suite, full bathroom and downstairs toilet all very modern and clean. Large modern kitchen and living area. Went for a week with three others girl friends and we have no complaints, great break. 5 min walk to supermarket, local bars and restaurants. 20 min walk to centre. Even got a late check out at no extra cost. Look forward to staying here again in future.

Some plastic tiles around the pool are in need of replacing. Difficult to open/lock patio doors. Pillows not great. However these are minor problems and the positives far out way any negatives.
