My room had a panoramic view of the terraces plus the place was near the falls and the hanging bridge so it’s perfect. The people were also nice and accommodating to my needs especially as a solo traveller. They made sure my needs were perfectly met and my questions were answered.
None. The place is a bit far and the trail was tough but it’s near every attraction you’ll definitely want to see. The further you are, the nearer you are to the beautiful spots so it’s perfect.

The location was absolutely amazing! It was so great to be able to stay in the town in the middle of the rice terraces. Cristina and her family could not have been more accommodating and welcoming. From the food, to the tours, to coordinating with us ahead of time for transportation to their place; they were incredible. This place is a great value-very simple, but exactly what we were looking for! We are so grateful for Cristina and her family for being the best hosts and we highly recommend this location! We hope to come back sometime :)
Keep in mind that it is an extra charge for towels. We were running low on cash and didn't bring a towel, so we used some of our clothing to dry off. We also forgot to bring enough cash (our bad). Make sure to bring enough cash before you get here! There are a few places to get cash in the town of Banaue, but there is a large upcharge. Once you're in Batad, there is no place to get cash.
Also, I thought I was prepared for the hike to the place. I was NOT. The trek is no joke, even for me, who I feel like is in relatively good shape. This is not a downside of the stay, but just a heads up! Start your training now!

Great view, great people!
Unique way to stay in Batad.
Would come again.
Some basic things could be improved: Hang a mirror into the bath, no toilet seat (that's a no go), common area looks more like a construction side (why not making it a little nice & comfy) - we stayed in the local hut which is not located at the main location of Christinas

Location is very beautiful and calm. Knowledgeable staff. Wi-Fi is good.
The walk down to the guest house is not easy with a big back pack. Facilities are basic. Staff not always around.

You live on the rice fields, it's beautiful and different from what the facilities you may be used to. A really nice getaway.
Wish they had better wifi and bathroom but it's part of the experience so it's still nice.

nice staff, inexpensive, comfortable room, good cooks, helpful staff and friendly neighbors.
location of property was not easy to get to.

An adorable family who welcomes you wonderfully, right in the heart of the Main Village! In addition, Cristina cooks wonderfully well! I was very sick there and the family took care of me and helped me get better with great thoughtfulness !

Nice view and comfortable rooms

The hosts, Cristina’s family, were very welcoming and took a great care of my. It was also super cool staying directly in the village that was in the rice teraces
For some people it might be a bit difficult access to the acommodation, since it’s in the lower level of the Batad rice terraces, but it was fine by me. A little adventure never hurts

So peaceful, the food is good and it's very close to the waterfall
It's a bit hard to get there but it's part of the adventure.

So really it's a homestay with an option for multiple guests at once. The location is really the best part of it all. Batad is about forty minutes away from Banaue and then you have to hike down from the main road through the village that is built inside of the 2,000 year old rice terraces. Christina's is at the very bottom. It is absolutely amazing and quit the experience. Christina herself is great and the food though a bit expensive for the area is actually good. It's a short hike from her to the waterfall - you really don't need a guide.
It takes time to find Christina's there tow signs along the way so it's easy to get lost until you find a local who will point you back in the right direction bit getting lost in the rice feilds is definitely part of the magic. There is no reception which is important to know before hand. So no wifi, data, or signal. It's a very minimal accommodation which in itself is amazing because it's very authentic but just have you expectations in check.

I like that the place has a restaurant. We had amazing view directly to rice fields. Also you had option to take a tourist guide to show you around. We were offered massage too. Food was tasty. And the owner even organized a tricycle from and to Banaue. We read in review that ppl didn't have a hot water - we had warm water during the whole stay.
Little bit uncomfortable bathroom.

Location is idyllic, and you feel you are truly in a homestay. There are a nice common porch and balcony. You feel you are IN the rice paddies. You witness the daily routines of Batad villagers.
Hosts are friendly and calm. There was a power outage affecting the whole area so we couldn't get the electric shower heater working, but the host promptly got us a big bucket full of tepid water (he heated using gas in the kitchen) so we could bucket shower old school.
They do serve meals and have cold beer and soft drinks.
Room is not according to what we expected: two small double beds occupying almost all the space the small room could handle. Old foam mattresses. Pretty sure the bedsheets had not be cleaned.
No noise insulation whatsoever. You could hear someone walking in their room.
Notice: to get to the part of the village where the INN is located will require you to walk on narrow rice paddies walls and extremely deteriorated stone steps (over 100), etc. We like hiking a lot: access to the place has some technical parts, let me tell you that. BUT COMPLETELY WORTH IT.

Best stay ever. Felt directly at home, thanks to the lovely people of the Inn. Very welcoming, very helpful. Will surely come back, and highly recommend to everyone to stay here. You will not regret it. Worth the travel.
Located all the way down in the village, in the middle of the beautiful rice terraces. Amazings views everywhere. As well, the waterfall is easy to reach from here.

The view. The culture. The Nature.
Hard to reach.

The location is fantastic, the family is very friendly and accommodating. However there is not much information on how to get there, once we found it we had a great adventure. Also great food compared to everything else we have been eating. If you are looking at staying here you need to park where the road finishes and walk in through the rice field tracks about 30-40 mins from the car park.
Nothing, it is what I expected for the area.

Everything was perfect. We enjoyed the accomodation, especially it is a ifugao house. We also enjoyed Cristina, She is very helpfull and caring to us, Thier foods are amazingly delicous. Also Loreh Anne Osmogan and Nhi Cole Amenha who took care of our 4 year old child, carrying him to the place of waterfalls and steep roads. We appreciate every kindess they did to us. People in Batad are very nice and courteous.

Great location in the middle of the village. It’s easy to start your hike to the top or the waterfalls. Also it has a great view over the valley / rice fields. Try the homemade pita’s, they’re lovely!!
Comfort room could be cleaner.

The View is amazing!
We had a driver Jerome who picked us up in Banaue at 5 in the morning (he even slept in the car so he wouldnt be late) and we drove 1 Hour to Batad. We had to hike down to the actual village for 40 Minutes it was hard but possible. Cristina and her Family are great and very friendly. The rooms are small but big enough and the beds are comfortable. They cook for you at any time and the menu has a great variety of foods to choose from. They offer tours through the ricefields and to the waterfall and are always open to tell you something about their way of living and the culture. I would really recommend this place to everyone. But you should no that there is no wifi and no signal down there but thats fine.
Everything was great

The inn is located in the main village. If you will be going to the hillside, it will be a 20-minute trek going up. The path is quite steep and it can be really exhausting. Although, if you like to be immersed in the local life and culture of the people of the main village, then Cristina's the best accommodation for you.
Menu prices are higher than those accommodations at the hillside.
