Great swimming pool, beautiful location within walking distance of a min-market, pizzeria/cafe and the beach.

Great pool, although not private
Shared plot with the owners, cameras on the pool, it didn’t feel private.
The facilities were quite poor, not enough armchairs for 4 people. The washing broke during our stay with a full load of clothes inside and it wasn’t fixed until the morning we left, so we left with a big bad of wet washing.
The power kept tripping out and left us with a fridge full of food that wasn’t properly refrigerated, also one of the showers was broken.
The quality of all the fixtures and fittings very poor, if feels like everything was done on the cheap, not what we were expecting given the price.

We arrived very late due to travel delays- the owners were there to meet us and left some food, fruit and water for us.
They live next door however we hardly saw them, but they were there if we needed them, the oven developed a fault during our stay however the owner had it repaired the next day.
They were extremely helpful and although English is not their language we were able to communicate well and nothing was a problem.
The Villa is modern bright, air conditioned, and had everything we needed to prepare our meals which we enjoyed on the covered patio outside.
The pool is fantastic and warm, the open surroundings of the garden and pool area with the loungers enabled us to get plenty of Sun but the patio was also a bonus when it got too hot for me!
They are a very pleasant couple who let us have the holiday we wanted without any interference we would definitely go back.
I would say a car is necessary to travel to the Villa and a must if you want to explore the Beautiful Syracuse, Toamina, and the other amazing sights Sicily has to offer.
The showers were a bit temperamental, sometimes very hot, then cold however this certainly wouldn’t but me off returning.

The villa is about 45 minutes from Catania airport and lovely, we couldn’t fault it.
It’s a little secluded but just perfect for our family break, had the perfect mix of relaxation and sightseeing opportunities.
The hosts were lovely even with our delayed arrival
