Amazing stay!

Absolutely amazing property! We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The room was comfortable and the pool during the day was very inviting. The property is surrounded by nature and is absolutely stunning during sunset. The staff were extremely helpful and provided information on the best places to eat and visit around the area. It’s very close to a nature reserve which is a short walk and quite unique. We look forward to staying here in the future!

Good location, minutes from the sea. Large pool. Comfortable but small rooms. Good breakfast.

Restaurant served a limited menu. The bar served only a few items for lunch (3-4 items) and was closed for a some hours in the afternoon..very inconvenient. Hotel had strict rules against bringing in food/drinks from outside, which was very inconvenient considering the restaurant was not available throughout the day and a lot of food items were not available. Pets were allowed on the property but could not stay in the pool area.

beautiful location, very quiet, a 20 minute walk from the water. Great swimming pool. The staff was very helpful and kind. Ate at the restaurant twice, the food was AMAZING, and so was the service. 100% recommend

Cute masseria close to Siracusa

It’s a good place close to Siracusa - but they could take care of the common spaces more - buffet breakfast could be upgraded - coffee, too. Nice place overall.

Fantastic

Very good , lovely clean well maintained swimming pool , easy nearby parking good breakfast . Pleasant room, delightful surrounding countryside, easy travelling distance to nearby towns Would easily make a restrung visit .

Directions were difficult by Sat Nav , a prominent house name on the main approach road would be very helpful to identify the location of the house which is on a private driver off the main road Otherwise , perfect

Amazing place with all comforts and great breakfast. They even have a small selection of lunch options. From here you can explore the lovely surroundings along the coast, but also Syrakus is easy to reach by car.

lovely staff and common areas . rooms need improvements

the hotel is newly renovated and beautifully decorated . the pool and the grounds are gorgeous . the views of the sea are lovely

the rooms were extremely humid . to the point that the bed sheets felt damp and the soap was slippery even before wetting it . we brought it up to the attention of the hotel receptionist the next day and she attributed to the weather . we were told all rooms are similar

Great place!

What a nice place! The familiyowned Masseria is some 20 minutew away from Syracuse, in s cosy old house and garden with nice pool. The rooms are located in the former workers houses, they are very well equipped and clean. It‘s an ideal place to start trips to the surrounding area. The breakfast was outstanding, mostly self-made sweet and salty bakery. Very polite and helpful staff. We‘d love to come back!

We had to leave after only two days and would have loved to stay much longer!

Location was very beautiful and quite. Staff has been super helpful and kind with us and our little girl. Very good breakfast. The bed was very confortable.

The restaurant was quite expensive for the type of food.

Was there a coup of the property by the sicilian magia?

Nice location, property and facilities. Cosy room and nice pool. Very nice restaurant with perfect food and wine.

Restaurant was closed 2/3 of our time there. They should have warned us of that. Staff seemed super confused and unprofessional. We had to check out early because they weren’t sure that staff could handle check out later. Low level of service generally.

We enjoyed the special atmosphere, the fine breakfast, the charming environment, the big swimming pool and the nice staff.

The only thing I missed the wardrobe from the room.

Superb

The Masseria was absolutely lovely. A very sympathetic renovation but with all the mod coms you expect. The rooms are airy and attractive and very spacious. The grounds are immaculately maintained and beautiful landscaped. Together with the generously sized pool it is an oasis of calm in the hot weather. The staff were amazing. It us a young team with lots determination to make your stay as nice as possible. Everyone is extremely helpful, attentive, proactive, always remembering one’s personal preferences and names. Their recommendations for local restaurants and beaches were brilliant and we found lots of nice places to eat. We felt really welcome and looked after during our stay.

A bottle of water in the room fridge on arrival would have been nice.

Georgeous property to relax and enjoy

The property is so beautiful and very well kept. The garden itself is georgeous! It has a lot of old olivetrees with flowers underneath. All the rooms are on the ground floor which is convenient while travelling with large suitcases like we did. Our room was pretty with a comfortable bed and it had properly working airconditioning. The staff was very friendly and hospitable and the breakfast was delicious! Special thanks to the lady whom prepared everything herself, we really enjoyed it. There are comfy beds and beach umbrellas near the pool, which we weren't sure there were when we booked our stay. Also the pool itself is very well maintained. Siracusa is only a 15 minute drive away which makes Masseria Testaferata an excellent base to explore the environment. To all staff, thanks again for everything! We will definitely be staying with you when we visit again.

Stunningly restored farm with beautiful modern rooms in a stunning location. The garden is lush and great to hangout with a glass of Sicilian vino. Loved the service and big breakfasts.

Early in the season the restaurant isn’t open.

Nice & relaxing stay

great location, very exclusive. however, this means having a car is a must (15min drive to Syracusa) loved the room and swimming pool very quiet too, really good for a relaxed vibe

breakfast selection was limited and not so good not much available for lunch/dinner either (which is a problem given the exclusive location) difficult communication with staff in English
