Great location for the centre of town. Great to have security notices everywhere and hand sanitizer stations.
Good WiFi.
Comfortable bed.
Easy check in and check out.
The approach to the Townhouse is extremely dark until you get right to the front door - not their fault about the street but I didn't feel safe.
The shared bathroom had dried urine stains on the inside of the toilet lid & the seat was broken.
I was on room 5 at the top of the house.
Difficult to locate sockets behind the bed.
Kettle, TV, and one bedside light didn't work. No hot water from the tap/sink in the room.
Decor was tired and poorly maintained. The blind on the Velux window didn't work. The comfy chair still had crumbs of food visible when you sat down, so I sat on my bed instead.
Two of the pillowcases had stains on them.

Easy to get into the local town. Really quiet location. The staff were amazing. Accommodated us and more. Went above and beyond. Comfortable clean and felt at home.
Nothing at all we didn’t want to leave

The room was immaculate, beautifully presented, and very spacious. Excellent value. I definitely look forward to staying there again when I get back in the area.
Considering the price paid, there are no real negatives. If anything, there could perhaps be a mirror above the sink.

I needed somewhere close to the railway station and this place was excellent as soon as I got off the train I phoned Joan and she guided me to the door five minutes walk
Joan was very quick to respond to any questions I had and would have no hesitation staying again

My 2nd stay at the townhouse and a different room. Both of the rooms I spent the nights in were spotless and fresh smelling clean bed linen and towels . Again the bed was comfortable. I was greeted by the manager Joan this morning and she is such a people's person. She feels like you've known her for years. It's very homely and I can not fault anything.
As a carer from abroad who works in the UK I've spent many a night in the premier inns ect and this beats them. I think they manager and her team should be very proud of themselves

Joan was very kind with me and explained everything very clear.
Check in was just until 18pm. In front of the building there was a parking were people were driving dangerously ad the atmosphere was not so great. The room was ok, but as Joan mentioned, the shower was a little difficult to operate.

We’ve stayed before when we’ve come back to Huddersfield to see family. Rooms and facilities are good value and everything is straightforward. Staff are very accommodating and go out of their way to make sure your needs are catered for.

A very friendly and helpful host. Really nice clean room. I had the loft room and it was very quiet.
The Internet connection may be a bit overloaded as the TV is often buffering.

I liked the fact that the town is in walking distance as well as the train station and your not having to pay for taxis. The area is quiet too.

Nice area spacious room
Uncomfortable bed and pillows.
When using bedroom sink horrid smell came from the drain left room smelling for 15 - 20 mins and if used again drains smelled again.
Overall if the things above are changed nice place reasonable for money paid.
