友達

お金をかけずに旅をしたい人には最高な場所。キッチンも使いやすいのし、周りには野菜や果物を売る市場があるので自炊するにも困らない。歴史あるアブラハムモスクも徒歩ですぐだが、道中必ず通らなければならないイスラエル占領軍によるゲートでの検問を体験して、パレスチナ人またはイスラム教徒が抱く怒りや悲しみを体感して、そこで得た感情を種として自国に持ち帰り、国際社会の一員としてこの問題が1日も早く解決するように周りに種を撒き散らし周知し続け、狂った現状を指摘し続けなければならないと強く思う。

朝食はコーヒーのみ。ドミトリーはベッドを並べただけの部屋なのでプライバシーは無いに等しいが、この値段なので文句はない。

séjours formidable 👍

j’ai surtout adoré l’hospitalité d’Akran et ses amis. le logement est simple mais confortable. idéalement placé au cœur du marché de la vieille ville. si vous séjournez au Friends Hostel, je vous recommande tout particulièrement la visite guidée de la ville avec Hassan. une visite historique, culturelle et politique qui vous permettra de mieux comprendre la situation sur place. enfin bref, nous avons été séduit par cet hébergement et tout particulièrement par nos hôtes. n’hésitez pas à venir leur rendre visite 😊

Amazing staff, facilities and location

Bilel is the most incredible host and makes you feel right at home! Hostel is clean, perfectly located and a brilliant place to explore Hebron/Al-Khalil and make new friends. I can’t wait until the day I return!

Great place to stay with an awesome host, Bilal!

Friends Hostel was a great place to stay! This was my first time staying at a hostel so I didn't know what to expect. Due to the war and the uncertainties in the area, many hotels and BNBs are closed so I decided to check out Friends Hostel. Glad I did! Bilal was an awesome host! Very attentive and ensured everything was taken care of. He even offered to be my guide in Al Khalil / Hebron. He provided the history as well as the unfortunate changes within the Old City that had taken place since the war. The location is great as it sits in the middle of a busy daily open air market. There were a couple of other guests who were there - very friendly and enjoyable to talk with. I was fortunate to have my own room which was very clean and quiet. There is a kitchen and a washer if you need it but I didn't use them as I ate out to help the local economy. I felt very safe in the area and will have no issues returning for a longer stay.

Bilal is available at anytime and the flat is very well located. If you go to Hebron you definetly have to stay there !

Und die Geschichte und die Orte in Hebron werden empfohlen, um sie zu besuchen ❤️❤️❤️ English: It was a huge pleasure for me staying in this hostel. You can find everything you need as a tourist inside. Bilal the owner of the hostel is very nice and friendly man. And the history and places in Hebron are recommended to visit .

I would stay again

This hostel feels like a home. It is in a perfect central location for visitors to Hebron with the Old city only a few moments walk away. The staff are friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and there are laundry facilities.

This is such a wonderful place to stay. Akram is the kindest, most welcoming host, it isn't like staying in a hostel - it's like staying with friends. Excellent value for money, and guaranteed to be staying with interesting people who are keen to learn about the situation in this city. Akram will also arrange tours to experience the city and understand the issues that Palestinians face. Thank you again - hope to see you soon!

A perfect stay. Treated like more than a friend, like you are member of the family.

Everything is perfect in this place! Starting from the host, nice and helpful, passing by the room, clean and comfortable, the same as the bathroom. You are free to use the kitchen for breakfast. Hebron is a wonderful city that will stay in your heart for ever, and this place is the right place to start your experience there. I already miss Hebron, Palestine and the Friend's hostel, where you are really treated like a friend. For sure I'l come back as soon as possible.

A fantastiskt hostel in this area

No bunk beds = no fight about a lower bed necessary. The owner was very kind and explaining. He was a good help for finding/knowing a guide about the history and daily situation in Hebron and rest of Palestine.

He didn't understand, what all should be cleaned and didn't accept my offer to help him with the cleaning = it was about the small shelfs in the kitchen.

Excellent basis for visit to old Al-Khalil/Hebron

- The owners have excellent knowledge on the details of the Israeli occupation of the heart of the old city and can provide tailored tours - Clean and comfortable bed - Excellent attention of the owners to any request that the tourist may have, it is easy to communicate with them, and they are very helpful - All key sights are in walking distance, and all types of shops in immediate vicinity

- Sanitary facilities are rather basic

Unique experience

I liked everything! The location is good, breakfast was delicious and beds were very comfortable an overall experience it was quite excellent price/quality ratio. The best part of the whole stay was the owner, the host. He gave me many helpful tips and lots of stories and information. He genuinely seems friendly to the people that come to stay at his hostel and he does his best to explain the situation in Hebron as well. Unique experience 🌟

Make sure you stay here

Absolutely recommend this place to anyone who wants to hear about real life in Hebron. Akram is amazing host who make sure you feel like home. He takes time to explain the situation and answer the questions. The place has fast Wi-Fi, heating, kitchen and is centrally located. If we ever come back, we choose Friends Hostel again.

You want to live like a local Palestine and want learn about their life in Hebron? Stay in this privately run accommodat

We can definitely recommend the stay with Akram !!! We immediately felt very warmly welcome in his apartment. On the table we found very informative information material about the history of Palestine and Israel . Akram took a lot of time for us to inform us about his personal circumstances as a local Palestine in Hebron. He also gave us valuable tips for local food. At our personal request, Akram organized a great local guide who took us on a day tour of Hebron. For us, the days in Hebron were so intense, and indispensable in a tour of the country. We were invited by several families, each of whom told us poignantly of their personal powerlessness regarding a peaceful agreement with Israel. We could not have asked for a better host in the interesting city of Hebron !!!! Thank you Akram !!!!!

since we visited Hebron in early January it was a bit cold in the rooms. But Akram offered us big blankets and heaters.

Reaaaally good times

Akram is a super cool host. Attentive, well-informed and funny. They're right at the beginning, which means you won't find loads of people on here yet, but I honest to god had a good time in Hebron and Akram was a big part of that. Particularly useful if you want to understand what the hell is going on there. And no, I'm not paid to say this - he's just a genuinely cool guy. The place is in a cool location in the middle of the markets by a checkpoint

I can't describe my thoughts it's was unforgettable experience , Akram was very friendly and helpful he gives me a lot of recommendation for the important places and good restaurants , he knows a very good places of local food , the food was so good and cheap price . I get a tour with them it's was so interesting and helpful to understand the political situation in Hebron city . In the beginning I was wanna stay one night but I stayed for 6 nights and I would staying more if it's was possible;) Highly recommended

Friends Hostel one of the best places in Palestine, Akram make a nightly discussion about politics and tradition and he offer a tours around the city I highly recommend it . The house it's cozy and simple you will feel like Home . The location of the Hostel in the city center and so close for the restaurant. Highly recommend!!!

Best experience

My staying in friends Hostel was the best part in my trip I got an amazing experience with Akram and I highly recommend the tour with them it's mixed between historical, cultural and politics. The breakfast was so delicious and I highly recommend to get the map from them because it's help a lot during your stay in Hebron .
