Das Seehotel ermöglichte uns einen komfortablen Besuch im Kloster Maria Laach.

Zimmer und Frühstücksbuffet gut; Lage sehr gut für unseren Besuch im Kloster Maria Laach; Aussicht ok;

Zimmer Anfang September zeitweise zu warm; Klimaanlage war aus oder funktionierte nicht; Vegetarische Essensauswahl im Restaurant hätten wir uns umfangreicher gewünscht;

Trotz kaum Schlaf sehr gut

Die Lage

Durch diverse Tagungen und Hochzeit usw waren die Nächte extrem laut. Schade dass nicht von vornherein darauf geschaut wurde ob Gäate zu den Events gehören. Und man ein Zimmer weit entfernt von der Feierlocation bekommt .

Ich war gerne dort Gast.

Alle, mit denen ich aus dem Service-Team zusammentraf waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Blick aus meinem Zimmer in die Landschaft. Dass ich bei nur 2 Übernachtungen auf die Reinigung verzichten konnte. Das ist vernünftig und nachhaltig. Die 'Belohnung' dafür an der Bar war nett, doch ich hätte es auch ohne getan.

Schön wäre loser Tee als Option. Durchaus üblich, sogar in Häusern mit weniger Standard. Den schätzt man/frau als Teetrinker:in. Zumal es diese coolen 'Teeschalentassen' gibt. Ohnehin ist das Geschirr klasse. Die Pancakes beim Frühstück waren scheinbar vorgefertigt und aufgewärmt, und leider sehr geschmacksneutral. Sehr schade, da es guten Ahornsirup aus der Flasche dazu gab. Es hätte mich nicht gestört, wenn die Pancakes bei Bedarf gemacht würden; ich hätte gerne gewartet. Ansonsten war das Buffet sehr lecker und reichhaltig.

Met all my expectations for an enjoyable stay. I would very happily stay again.

Very polite, friendly, efficient and helpful staff at reception. Excellently clean and well-appointed room, with beautiful location, as expected from previous visits to this site. Wonderful evening meal: full compliments to chef and staff.

I would have preferred more personal control over the bathroom light in my room, so that I could have switched it on and off as needed, rather than have it automatically timed.

We're already looking forward to visiting again - we just need to find a date!

Easy check-in, convenient car park, location well-signposted. Lovely modern room and bathroom. Outstanding breakfast buffet. A fabulous way of enjoying a long, relaxing weekend in the countryside.

We were slightly disappointed by the restaurant as we had been looking forward to enjoying local fish. The menu features classic dishes with good-quality ingredients, but the execution was a little bumpy. We found and enjoyed some nice regional items on the wine list.

relaxing!

Beautiful hotel, clean, bright and elegant. Nice staff, great food, wonderful surroundings. Good bathroom and showers, water pressure etc is perfect. Very relaxing. Stunning area. They allow dogs which is great.

Rooms on the 3rd floor are attic rooms with small windows and very warm. Bedding is very synthetic and sparks, also very warm. Made it uncomfortable. Noisy guests drinking and smoking outside on the terrace kept us awake between midnight and 2am, the hotel staff should be mindful of this.

Perfect place to relax and get some fresh air

The breakfast was amazing! There was buffet style eggs, bacon, and potatoes. So much bread and pastries. All sorts of cheeses and lunch meats, and a muesli/cereal/yogurt bar. Plus sparkling wine. And an actual honeycomb you could cut bits off of. The breakfast room overlooks the garden and lake so it was just a lovely way to start the day. Oh and all the plates and dishes are the ceramics made at the Abbey. The room had excellent air conditioning and really comfortable beds. The mini-bar refreshments were included in the price of the stay. The room felt brand new and you can tell that everything has just been renovated. Fresh, clean, comfortable, and modern. There is also an elevator. There happened to be a festival the weekend I stayed, so there was plenty of activity on top of the Abbey, the garden center, ceramics shop, and gift shop. There is a dedicated path down to the lake where there is a coffee and snack shop attached to a small grocery store. I took a hike around the volcanic areas one day and the next I drove to the Lava Dome museum.

I was in a room on the top floor, so I didn't have a great view. The walls in this room were at an angle. I'm short and even I bumped my head a few times getting into the mini-bar. If you're a taller person, you should request a room on a lower floor, not the third. There was a small desk and chair in the room, but no place to really relax other than the bed. The bathroom light turns on automatically by motion sensor and has a timer to automatically turn off. So sometimes the light turned off on me and I had to keep the door closed at night to keep the light from turning on randomly.

The room was simple and clear, very clean and comfort. A lovely and very peaceful place. We love it. Very good breakfast. Best location and only 50 meters to the hotels parking place.

Very nice hotel, good food, but the rooms located on the lakeside are suffering from the loud road.

I spontaneously looked for an overnight stay and luckily found this place in a very nice area too. Was a very nice stay.

Location is remote, yet close to motorway. Very quiet. Very safe and secure parking. Very clean and extremely friendly staff that went out of their way to accommodate my wishes

ok - i just needed a bed really

hotel is old (in a good way) and nicely appointed right near the see and the church thing restaurant looked nice (although i didn't eat there) room had view of the water

was on my bike and not many hotels in the area so just booked a small single room which was all they had left, it was small and in the roof of the building so i couldn't stand up in most of it. the bed had a stupid shelf where the headboard should have been so you couldn't sit up in bed properly. the cleaning lady woke me up outside around 830 and was knocking on my door around 915
