Upon arriving at Shell Yeah, your senses will be immediately captivated by the enchanting downstairs area, featuring a screened-in TV and family space alongside the inviting pool area.
Notably, the pool is generously oversized, offering an exceptional experience for everyone. Within this poolside haven, you'll also discover a top-tier outdoor TV and sound system, as well as a dining table, all enclosed within the screened area.
Prepare to be awed by the expansive outdoor shower and a spacious seating area, perfect for gatherings, relaxation, games, or even a game of Cornhole (equipment provided). Nearby, a convenient outdoor foot washing station awaits your return from the beach, ensuring a sand-free transition between the pool and the house.
The pool deck accommodates everyone's needs, whether you seek sun or shade, relaxation in or out of the pool. It even features a dedicated smoking area for up to 4 guests. With an array of lounge chairs, Adirondack chairs, a loveseat, and two generous sun shades with accompanying tables, you might find it hard to leave this exquisite poolside oasis.
Not only is our pool one of the largest on the island, but it also boasts the coveted western exposure, allowing you to relish this fantastic entertainment area throughout the entire day and into the evening.
As you ascend the screened stairs to the second level, you'll be greeted by an outdoor dining area, complete with seating for six. There's also a separate seating area with a coffee table, where you can relish protected outdoor dining while listening to the soothing sounds of the surf or your chosen sound system. A propane grill, conveniently located on the same level, eliminates the need for frequent trips up and downstairs to check on dinner.
Upon entering our home, the second level unfolds as the primary living area, characterized by an open floor plan seamlessly connecting the living room and kitchen – ideal for both cooking and entertaining simultaneously. The space features elegant plantation shutters, granite countertops, a 65” TV, and a sumptuous leather sofa, making this area truly stand out. A cozy game and library nook awaits for lazy days and nights.
In the kitchen, you'll find a Keurig coffee maker and a full-size coffee maker, along with convenient appliances like a crockpot, blender, George Foreman grill, and other items to make your vacation effortless.
Adjacent to the living area are two well-appointed bedrooms that share a full bath. One of these bedrooms is equipped with a TV featuring an Amazon Firestick, while the other has a smart TV for streaming your favorite content. A half bath, complete with a new washer and dryer, is also conveniently located nearby, off the living room.
The third floor unveils the luxurious Primary Suite, themed with island-inspired decor, beautiful wood floors, and plantation shutters. It offers a king-size bed and a 50” Flat Screen TV with DVD and Satellite TV, accompanied by a spacious walk-in closet. The Primary Bathroom features a double sink and double shower.
Step outside through disappearing glass sliders to the covered Primary deck, a private retreat perfect for savoring your morning coffee or a good book, all while enjoying views of the island.
Last but certainly not least is the spiral staircase that leads to the 4th-floor Viewing Deck, also known as the Crow’s Nest. From this vantage point, you'll be treated to breathtaking views of the Gulf stretching around the entire island to the Bay. Comfortable Adirondack chairs offer the perfect spot for watching stunning sunsets and sunrises or indulging in 360-degree nighttime stargazing – the ideal conclusion to a perfect day on North Captiva Island at Shell Yeah!
This newly renovated home offers all the comforts of home, including beach towels, basic spices, and extra coffee/tea, just in case you need them. Situated on North Captiva Island, it boasts an ideal location within walking distance of the beach, the Island Club, and the Nature Preserve.

Our family of 4 had a great visit ! House was super comfortable and had everything you needed from drink coozi’s to board games. Would definitely stay here again and could definitely fit more people in the house and it would still be very comfortable.

Reviewer Comments:
The entire house, is so worn down. We stayed in this house in 2010 and upkeep just hasn't happened. The AC for the upstairs master bedroom is NON-EXISTANT. The house is INFESTED with ants, especially the kitchen area, and main living area. Rotted boards throughout the pool area creating dangerous conditions to families like ours with children. I get it, it is a beach house so there will be some issues that just don't get attended to, however it really comes across to the guests that the owners/managers just do not care about the condition.

Issues with the north captiva island club
The house was great, exactly as described. The property management company on the other hand was terrible. We had issues with the golf cart not working, it would not break and would stop accelerating. Very dangerous. North Captiva island club, wanted us to spend extra money to upgrade. I found this to be ridiculous. We had a few other issues and they wouldn’t return our calls. We’ve been to the island before, stayed on a non North Captiva island club property and had a wonderful experience. Next trip back, I know to rent from a private owner or another club.

Love N Captiva
House was ok. Nothing major wrong. Coffee maker broke, dish washer broke, shower floor broke, just could use a lot of maintenance. Rotten boards nothing terrible but just not awesome. Pay premium price and expect premium facilities. Pay for Hilton get motel 6. Previous year rented from Tortuga properties and were great. Meet you at dock and helped you get in house. Checked on you and made sure everything ok. N captiva island club nothing. Actually the map gave us was to wrong house. Golf cart was pos. Can’t say I would recommend. Now will we be coming back oh hell yeah. Love N captiva.
