Zeer eenvoudige kamer met goede airco en fijne douche in charmant gebouw op toplocatie in leuke stad

De locatie was voortreffelijk: we zaten midden in het centrum van Toledo, naast een charmant pleintje met een kroegje waar de lokale bevolking een slokje dronk. Een fijne, mooie plek. De kamer lag in een leuk gebouw, zeer authentiek. De kamer heeft een prima badkamer met lekkere douche, en een uitstekende airco. Het personeel sprak geen woord Engels, maar was behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Onze taxichauffeuse was een heldin die de straatjes navigeerde als een duivelstoejaagster.

De kamer was te primitief. N.B. er was geen sprake van valse voorlichting: alles was zoals voorgesteld, maar oudere stellen raad ik iets luxueuzers aan: typisch een kamer om de ogen te sluiten; geen kamer om te chillen. De TV is zo groot als je i-pad, maar belangrijker: er is geen bedlamp. De enige mogelijkheid om het - enige- kamerlicht te doven is bij de deur. Dus moet je met je iphone-zaklamp je bed zien te vinden. Dat kende ik nog niet! Kortom, prima voor jong grut, maar minder geschikt voor oudjes.

Rue trop étroites pour y accéder en voiture, mauvais positionnement GPS, lits beaucoup trop durs, douche vraiment très petite, la nuit était bruyante.

Algo de ruido por la madrugada pero eso no es culpa del alojamiento. Si no de la gente que no son muy cívicos

La habitación muy mejorable para 2

Es muy céntrico, muy limpio y la atención muy bien

Reservé una habitación para 2 personas y me pareció muy pequeña y justa, casi no podía pasar al otro lado de la cama porque el espacio era muy justo... además de que si es una habitación doble,cómo es posible que solo haya una toalla grande y una pequeña??? Espero que mejoren esas cosas

Great little hotel!

Clean, quiet, comfy bed,lovely receptionist, great location!

Our room, particularly the bathroom, was so small that a bigger person could hardly access the toilet.

Good location and friendly staff

The location is the best part, as it's super central and close to the tourist attractions, restaurants and bars in Toledo. The place is fairly easy to get to. We were able to park the car for free across from the bus station at parking Safont. From there, it's a decent 18-20 minute walk up to the city center. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay, as the hostel staff was friendly and our room was clean and quiet.

In our room (triple room - three twin-size beds) the beds were not super comfortable, but for 1 night, it was acceptable. On one of the beds, the outer bed covering had some stains/scuffs on it. The shampoo and shower gel packets are too small so I would recommend bringing your own. The TV is quite small. The AC unit we turned on briefly and it turned on and off repeatedly; that didn't seem normal. Otherwise, the room was clean and quiet and we don't have any further complaints.

Nice place slightly off the beaten track

Nice comfy bed. Great shower that's immediately hot . Nice courtyard. Friendly proprietor. It's close to everything, but out of the way.( When you hit the main square, you'll understand why this is good). Right behind the place is a good tapas bar that is all locals. So you get the local flavour. My room overlooked this. One of the features of Spanish "bars" is that there are ALWAYS screaming kids running around....These rooms have unbelievably good window soundproofing. The checkout time is reasonable.

The wifi signal doesn't reach to the end of the building. You need to find the sweet spot. The towel sucked. Small, bleachy and sad

Best price for a night weekend basic stay

The location is great as you can reach the main monuments on a short walk. Beds were confortable. Staff let us leave our luggage after the check-out till the evening.

We didn't get any password WiFi or information about Toledo on our arrival. The courtains from the bathroom have lots of stains, they must change it.

Avoid it if you can, they scam you into worst room

A prime location in the centre of Toledo old town. Very close to local monuments, pubs restaurants and local stores.

Check-in was out of the ordinary, they demanded to show the price I paid instead of asking my name and take me the the room I booked like everywhere, they took me to a small room and told me this is what I have paid for because I used booking. The room was very small barely had space around the bed, no bedside lamp, and no reachable switch from the bed. Now having used booking.com for a long time on my trips I know I'm getting good deals since I'm at genius level 2. When I talked with the staff (a couple) the woman started to mumble in spanish, (I am fluent in Spanish and there was nothing good on what she was mumbling) the husband showed us the room we showed on the pictures and said it was free for extra 20€ in cash which I refused since it only looked as a scam to rip me off money. As if this was not enough, we could only be outside until midnight since they would close the door and we would have to disturb everyone by ringing the doorbell. But some other guests were not so considerate and left the TV on up to 2:30am when I call the property, phone no one answered but at least 15 min after the husband went there and told him to shutdown the TV, because you could listen in all rooms.
