Excellent stay great location

Modern simplicity. It fulfilled what we required. Great shower. Good private small terrace area.would recommend and return.

There could have been a bin in bedroom.

Comfortable, excellent location, and we would love to stay there again.

Lovely rural location, and convenient for National Trust properties. We were even able to top-up our electric car. Delightful garden if we had stayed longer - perhaps for breakfast in summer.

We were surprised not to have shower gel and shampoo, but managed! Plenty of everything else!

Loved the location, and the peace and quiet Shower was lovely. Loved the fridge microwave and kettle in the room.

Being super picky as it was so good! The thick duvet in the warmer season was bad for someone who runs very warm

Superb

Was very convenient to Wallingford which is where our son lives. Was very well equipped and lovely location ,very quiet.

I didn't get the email from booking .com to get into the property until after I contacted the owner . Checked before we left home and after we arrived at the property ,luckily I could call the owner to gain access.

Lovely location, great people

Nice people, nice room, great location

It was a smallish room, and fine for me travelling alone. I felt it would have been a bit full if my wife had been with me. Also, like many hosts nowadays, the style is to put a lot of cushions in the room. It's just a personal taste, no criticism, but 4 pillows plus six large cushions overfilled the room. Again, if there had been two of us, the many cushions would have been a real problem. For me, leave them out, but that's a personal choice. Also, I could get 2 channels only on the TV in the room. Not a problem for me, as I did not watch TV, but it would have been a problem. I didn't mention this to the hosts while I was there, as it did not bother me.

We had a very pleasant stay.

The bench outside was a bonus. shower warmed up quickly. Peaceful location. Good quality white towels.

No bedside cabinet on one side if bed. we would have preferred much less storage and storage moved to create more room on that side of bed to make it easier to get in and out of bed. We couldn’t get close enough to either mirror to see to put contact lenses in or to put make up on. Either a vanity mirror near the basin would have been good. The basin is small for washing up and we didn’t realise should have brought washing up liquid.

Comfortable and great value for money

Quiet location, not too far from the main town, very clean, comfortable bed, great shower, private, easy access.

A lot of the space was taken up with units containing several large drawers that are probably not really necessary for that type of accommodation. With a smaller chest of drawers by the en-suite side of the bed, the bed could be moved a few inches more from the wall to allow room for a narrow "bedside" table or similar on the other side to put a glass of water on overnight, or my husband's specs so that he wasn't in danger of standing on them in the morning! A foldable table would be good to make eating easier whilst sitting on the bed. We stayed last year, so this time took some washing up equipment (bowl, sponge, tea towels etc) as it wasn't ideal trying to wash up in the small hand basin.

The room was immaculate, a very comfy bed , tea and coffee well stocked, very good instructions for arrival and lovely bathroom. Very quiet position and loved we could sleep with the window open.

Excellent place, good value… especially suitable for couples or a single person.

Cosy, clean and very comfortable. In great location and delightful setting.

The only thing we might have taken issue with was a very small fridge, no ice box and pretty much ineffective. But we did not need to as the owner very cheerfully and kindly allowed to use the large fridge/freezer in the garage! 🙃😇

tranquil, comfortable and huge value for money

I loved the area, back of a huge detached house within a private road. I would definitely stay there again. It was extremely well built and clean

I though the room was of a good size but the amount of furniture and storage was excessive which didn't allow for a wardrobe or a writing desk. very small issue that would easily be resolved is a shelf within the shower and an upgrade to the shower pressure and TV channels, but I am being very picky and should not put off anyone who is thinking about staying here.

Very good

Was working in Wallingford for a week, and was bringing my bicycle with me. I was assured that the location was sufficiently safe for leaving my bike outside, and wasn't going to be unsightly for the owners or neighbours. The room and en-suite were clean and comfortable. It was provided with a microwave and some crockery and cutlery, but I wasn't comfortable about bringing a strong smelling takeaway in, so ate out 3 of the 4 nights, and I had the opportunity to have breakfast at my work location.

I'm 6'5" and found the bed too short, and the bathroom mirror too low.

Most enjoyable. Perfect for our needs. We will come again without doubt.

Beautifully clean and homely. Comfy bed, great shower and lots of coffee/tea/milk/bottled water. We stayed for 11 nights. The towels were changed half way through the stay. All in all a very good stay - thank you for having us :-)). Friendly hosts who were there to help if we needed assistance.

A very minor comment: The TV connection was a little erratic but most of the time it was good quality.

very classy one room type accommodation , but meals here very difficult so be prepared to eat out

ideal location privately situated in ex garage of large detached house, very tight size wise..one person has to shuffle sideways getting out of bed, but beautifully presented and furnished...Top class crockery and cutlery, bedding, towels, shower. no expense spared. another5 feet and it would have been perfect..

We had nowhere to sit other than on the bed, no table, only a microwave, no toaster, no means of self catering. That being said , this is a perfect low cost dormitory for the overnight stay....we had four days and the lack of space etc became a bit testing

Fantastic location, great, accommodation,easy parking and reliable WiFi. Can't wait to come back ;-

The accommodation was lovely and airy. Bottled water was available and various teas and coffee were in plentiful supply. A mini fridge was available to keep my drinks cold whilst a microwave allowed me to heat up simple meals and soup. The bathroom was spotless with a fantastic shower - just what I needed in the morning to start my hectic day.

Perhaps a small or foldable chair in place of the bean bag but that certainly didn't spoil my stay.

Everything!! Loved it here it was peaceful and so cute and cosy!! Me and my partner came and went as we pleased. The owners Julia and Rob are lovely but leave you to it in a nice way giving you your privacy. You are fully provided for in the room and should you need anything you need only ask! Beautiful spacious garden and surrounded by countryside truly a beautiful relaxing place. We will definitely be going back to stay again we had a wonderful long weekend and found ourselves already discussing another visit on our way home to London.
