The place is at convenient walking distance from the airport and to the bus terminal. Bathroom facilities and bed are ok.
Booked at booking for $12.43. At arrival, host charged me $29. I didn't feel like making a fuzz, probably an "accident", as happens everywhere in South America, whatever he wishes. Second thing is that you don't get a room key, so you have to leave your room unlocked, and the host did go in unsolicited after I was gone for some shopping. Then to get back into the hostel you are also dependent on the host to open the front door. Last thing, there was a map in my room, and according to the map I got the smallest room of four, no need to emphasize and especially not for the more than double increased price.

Close to the airport and busstation. Room and bathroom very comfortable and clean. Staff friendly and helpful

Oscar was amazing and so friendly, and his son Oscar helped us out! comfy room close to mall del sol and the airport/buses so perfect for the one night we stayed
no kitchen for us to use (with hostal in the name we thought there would be one, it was more like a hotel). also had to get Oscar jr to let us in our room everytime we went out which was strange, we had to rely on staff instead of having our own key.

hostel smells a bit funny but is tidy. Oscar is great to deal with however we didn’t like not having a key for our room and not being able to Let ourselves out in the morning

The room was clean, bed was comfortable, A/C in the room was big plus. The owner, Oscar is super helpful and friendly. Good place to stay one night and catch the flight on the next morning.

Oscar was extremely nice , he’s a great person , and wish nothing but the best for his business

the water is too hot so you can’t have a shower, you don’t get a key for your room, you have to ask the lady to open both from door and room door and if she is not there, you can’t go anywhere. and unfortunately she has a very bad personality. this was the worst place I’ve stayed at in a long time.

So close to the airport - just 3-5 minutes drive. I took Uber for $2.60.
And such lovely staff

Very close to the airport and the bus terminal.
Shopping Center with many Redtaurants in walking distance.
Super friendly owners.

The host Oscar is super friendly, he sent all details in advance, helped with our luggage and even called a taxi for us in the morning to the airport. The room is spacious with a comfortable bed and there is a little kitchenette which can be handy. Bathroom is tiny, but there is hot shower which is a big plus.
We didn’t get a key and had to ask Oscar to let us out and in the property and our room when we were going in and out. This was a little strange (I understand it is for safety reasons). But it didn’t bother us too much as we only stayed for a night.
Miscommunication about the taxi, the host arranged us one saying it will be 2,5 dollars max, but we ended up paying 5 dollars.

The owner is super friendly and we had a nice chat. The room is the cleanest we had so far (one month+ in Ecuador atm) and even had a smart TV with Netflix! Comfortable bed and hot shower. Also a fridge which was easy as we still had some food left. Just as most people we just stayed one night before flying to Galapagos but definitely recommend also longer stays. The shopping mall is close by where we bought our snorkeling gear and had some dinner. We took a Uber to the airport which costs us $1,90.
The front door is locked so you depend on the owner or his family to open the door for you, to go in ánd out. It’s not a problem but feels a bit uncomfortable when leaving early in the morning for your flight and weaking them to let you out.

Before even arriving, Oscar proactively sent several messages to aid in finding the property with detailed directions and advice which ultimately proved invaluable. Oscar greeted you with a big welcoming smile and made you feel right at home. Although the room was tight it was a very comfortable bed, with a little kitchenette and full bath with hot water. The location is great for flights from GYE or the bus station. You can walk to the airport as it is less than 1.5 km to the airport. An enormous mall with over 30 choices for places to eat is just 3 blocks away. Oscar was always helpful with advice and even happily printed out my Covid test results for my flight the following day. Perfect place for arriving flights/bus or more importantly departing flights the following day.
Location a little difficult to find due to lack of signage on building. Although if you pay attention to Oscar's directions you should have no problem. Access was different as you didn't actually possess a key to your room nor for entry to the hostal and therefore, you relied on Oscar or one of his family members to give you access to both including exiting the hostal.

Oscar is the kindest host! He is smiling every time and will help you with whatever you need. The rooms are super clean and the shower is nice. We stayed here 2 nights when we were flying from en to Guayaquil. It's only 5 minutes away by car/uber, which is also super cheap. I would definitely recommend this place. The rooms have a good price too.
