This was perfect for us. Me and my girlfriend stayed here for the weekend and loved the location. Close to all the monuments, museums, and good restaurants. The place was clean and well stocked. Communication with host was easy and they were super responsive.
If you’re looking for a good coffee stop near by, The sweet lemon cafe is just around the corner and was our favorite stop of the trip.

I had an absolutely delightful stay and everything was as described (and even better)! The neighbourhood was perfect - close enough to everything, but tucked away from the mega tourist zones. It had a real "neighbourhood" feel with all the amenities. If using transit, there were a few bus stops very close by and the Metro stations were a moderate walk away (15 mins). The actual room was also very pleasant - a perfect size for a "crash pad", just as the pictures show. The property manager was incredibly responsive and very accommodating. Really, everything was great and if I ever return to DC, I'll be staying here again

Great neighborhood that was safe and very walkable and had several tasty places to eat.

For the same cost I could stayed in a hotel with breakfast, a large room and TV that could be seen. The bed was jammed in the bay window (on three sides) and the only on and off the bed was crawling from the foot of the bed - great if you are 20 - I am 70. Also the bed was so high I needed the stool to get high enough to get on it. The bathroom door did not close - it was nailed opened so anyone in the room got the full view of you taking a shower. Also there was a recommendation for breakfast - a 15 minute walk for someone who will get knee surgery next month - and the restaurant was out of business. It had been out for a while since there is a chinese food place there now. I thought VRBO sounded like a reasonably priced idea but after ALL of the extra fees, I could have felt relaxed in a quality hotel with free breakfast and near attractions.
Never again

Charming , cozy rental. As advertised.

Pluses: Great location, nice shower, good communication with owners. Negatives: The king-sized bed is shoved into a living room alcove surrounded by bay windows which are covered with translucent curtains that let in street light and light from the building's front porch light and the neighboring building all night. Because of the small size of the alcove and the large size of the bed there is no room to get into or out of the bed from either side, which means you have to crabwalk out of bed and crawl on to it from the bottom. These gymnastics are complicated by the fact that the bed is 3.5 feet off the ground. All in all, the location and height of the bed would make it a significant problem for older guests or guests with mobility issues. This issue needs to be disclosed by either the host or VRBO.

This room is in a historic row house in a beautiful part of DC. It's just off the corner near Stanton Park. Easy walk to the Capitol. The cherry blossoms were blooming during my stay and walking around the neighborhood was magical. I'd stay here again.

This unit is perfectly located within walking distance of great food, cool neighborhoods, and public transportation. I stayed for 10 days and was perfectly comfortable in the room. The hosts make sure you have everything you need and everything from check-in to check-out is seamless and contactless. The bed is super comfy (great linens and I like a soft mattress so it was great), the shower has amazing pressure, and the kitchenette has everything you need for light cooking. I also appreciated the hosts made sure there was coffee available for the coffee maker so I wouldn't have to make a morning grocery run! I was able to work, relax, and get everywhere I wanted in the DC area easily. Would definitely stay again and appreciated the excellent hospitality!

We enjoyed our eight-day stay in this well-located spot, which is furnished with a kitchen table that doubles as workspace. One thing missing from the listing: You will be sharing your space with a 50-decibel air handler/heat pump that serves the whole building and runs without interruption, 24/24. It kept room temperature at a perfect, steady level but the sound, akin to white noise, did take getting used to.

Fun time with family
Stanton Park was the perfect location while visiting in DC: an open concept room, with a fully equipped kitchen and renovated bathroom. The comfortable king-sized bed is surrounded by tall windows-hardwood floors-and history! The building itself is beautiful. I had no issues with this rental:
communication with the property managers was prompt and thorough-eveything regarding renting the room, parking, what to do while in DC- all was available through the site. I truly enjoyed my visit this weekend, and this room just made that much nicer!

Perfect little studio with great location
We stayed for a short weekend trip and the place was cozy and very conveniently located. It had nice little extras like a full sized coffee maker with coffee and a stove top with pots, pans, and utensils. The bed was very comfortable. My only comment would be that the internet was spotty which made it difficult to unwind to the tv at night. An antenna for local news would have been amazing and an easy remedy. Overall, would definitely stay again!

Great atmosphere in historic brownstone apartment made a nice visit to Washington DC. We were able to bike to all major monuments and museums along the mall, and was within walking distance to the capitol, H-street and Eastern Market. Apartment was clean and tastefully decorated and had everything we needed for our stay. Jason and Eric were very prompt in responding to us and very easy to work with. The king sized bed was one of the main reasons we picked this apartment, but it was too soft for our taste. Overall a good experience and a pleasant stay

The property is a historic home on Capitol Hill, within walking distance of the National Archives Museum, the National Gallery of Art, the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History, and the Smithsonian Museum of American History, and has been renovated to serve as a set of rental units for hosting guests in the area. The king size bed in the room was very comfortable. The creaky hardwood floors, the vaulted ceiling, the ornate crown moulding, and the beautiful medallion around the chandelier added a pleasant, cozy atmosphere to our stay that we could not have gotten anywhere else.
Jason and Eric have both been very responsive and attentive to any questions we had. They obtained a parking pass for us to use during our stay, which was very helpful for us. Additionally, they provided restaurant recommendations and tips on food delivery. They take great care to see to the needs their guests have while staying, and the kind of attention to detail that they have shown with our stay shows great pride in their work. If you stay in the Washington, D.C. area, I highly recommend staying at Jason and Eric’s property on 607 Massachusetts Ave NE.

Good Location
This property ticked off all the boxes for me. The location is a short walk to Eastern Market for restaurants. Also within walking distance are interesting DC sites. I walked to the Library of Congress. Otherwise Uber gets you where you need to go. The property is charming and clean, with nice touches such as an extremely comfy bed and an armchair for relaxing. If you should need anything, Eric or Jason will respond quickly and answer any questions you may have. I will stay here again in the future!

Lovely, charming studio apartment in the heart of it all. We really appreciated the neighborhood location close to the Capital for our 5 day sight-seeing trip of DC. The apartment was easy to locate. Upon arrival, we found fresh linens, cold filtered water and chocolates (a nice touch!). Our minor question was quickly responded to. We looked forward to returning to our home-away-from-home in the evening to relax and refresh for our next days adventure. The bed was comfortable, kitchenette serviceable, and hot water hot! Only recommendation: if you need complete dark for sleeping, bring your sleeping mask. Thanks so much for helping to make our DC trip a wonderful memory!
