Good location but there is a tower building in front of the hotel.
It took time to fix elevator of the hotel

Typical buffet breakfast. Nothing spectacular.
Disappointed with the a la carte dinner in the Hearth restaurant. The dishes we had were mediocre at best. The presentation made them look unappetising. The meal we had did not justify the high end price. The cuisine fell short of what we would expect from a 5 star hotel.
Apart from the mediocre cuisine the towels in our room were of poor quality. We asked them to be replaced as they were well worn. The fresh towels we were given the next day were just the same.

The view.
It took two hours and two phone calls to retrieve our luggage.

Breakfast , bed and proximity to conference centre
the word river view in the room title should be river glimpse . Check in was an hour late that arranged, not just my room there where a many others in same position, floor was dirty in room, noisy construction activity adjacent to room, mini bar options poor, house keeping not attentive.

The views were amazing and the bathroom was very lovely and big.
I was disappointed in the room paying $1000 a night it looked just like a standard hotel room.
3.0
The view and the spa area
The staff service was terrible.
They wouldn’t pick up the phone for room service .
We had 1 breakfast delivered room service for $49 and it was tiny and dry and they charged an extra $7 to deliver it .
The lights in the room kept coming on every hour all night and the automatic blind stuck open .
Worst hotel ever .

The reception staff went above and beyond, we were able to check into our room early which included a free upgrade! Katherine & the reception team exceeded all our expectations! Gr8 Staff . Superb service. Fantastic room. Gr8 location!! A++++ :)

It’s in a good position
Terrible interior design. Dark, poorly lit bathroom. Poor water pressure in the shower and it fluctuated constantly between hot and cold. Possibly because there was no shower mixer. Who installs hot and cold taps in a shower in a fairly new hotel? We had a powder room as part of the suite and there was nowhere to hang a towel and the placement of the mirror in it made it very difficult to actually use the sink taps.
Furniture in our suite was stained and scuffed. It was also uncomfortable to sit on. We had been out all day one day and returned at 4pm to find our room hadn’t been serviced. When I rang up to ask about it being serviced I was told that rooms were serviced between 9am and 5pm. They then suggested that we go to the bar while they did the room service.
It’s expensive and the majority of the problems can’t be fixed because the problem is poor design.

I like the decor of the room, I could appreciate the suites view as well, the staff at the entry point we're very polite & helpful.
I didn't appreciate that I booked for myself and husband only, &, I ended up with a room that had two beds. It came across "cheap & tacky".. considering the amount I paid for the room, I would've expected to have a more luxurious feel.
When entering the bathroom, seeing amenities exposed (empty hangers, ironing boards / iron, among other things) it took away the feeling of luxury and brought a very disappointing perspective to our stay. It was important for me to clarify that we were on a getaway and stayed due positive reviews from friends, so we're hoping that next time, it'll be better.

Friendly, helpful and polite staff. Valet parking was easy to arrange on check in. Room was clean and very spacious with beautiful views. Ensuite/Dressing room was exceptional. Coffee machine instead of a kettle was a welcome surprise.
As this was a special Birthday get away, the bottle of wine, cake and Birthday note that was left in our Room, was greatly appreciated. We were slso upgraded to a Suite which was a very pleasant surprise. Thank you.

Breakfast was good but no more than the average hotel breakfast buffet. The view from my room was beautiful. The pool although freezing was stunning. The room decor was lovely and the size of the bathroom was decadent.
My friends coffee order was incorrect each morning. We ordered room service one evening and the food order was incorrect twice so by then my friend was too hungry to care about calling again and waiting for the food and all the drinks we ordered were barely luke warm by the time they got to our room.

Room was beautiful. View was amazing. Clean. Bathroom was luxurious with great big bathtub.
Room service was wrong multiple times.

Location, beautiful rooms- massive large bathroom with all the complimentary bits and bobs you'd wouldn't always get, Everything screamed quality and a lot of thought went into what amenities people would require.
Outstanding river views - loved the blinds which were operational from the bedhead - either fully blocked out or partially if desired.
Room service was fantastic - Food presentation and taste had the WOW factor - 24/7 is always a bonus.
comfy bed, great range of assorted things in bar fridge and snack draws.
great lighting .
Buffet Breakfast downstairs 10/10
Cleanliness
Only thing I could pick on to do with our overall stay was the TV and Programs situation - seemed to be to hard to workout
any program we happened to gain access to wasn't worth watching - WiFi ?? we didn't have any.
We used our own phone data to access music, we were happy with that, the rest of the place compensated for it :-)

Luxury ! Loved the place.
Buffet Breakfast, 24/7 Room Service, clean and comfy, sound proof - heavy doors & stand out bathroom - i could of stayed in the bathroom for hours chatting to my friend .
TV programs Issue - to confusing for me to figure out, didnt bother me at the time, as i was in orr of the amazing view and the room overall.

The view was incredible on the top floor with views of the water, bridge, bell tower and the city lights. The spa facilities- sauna and vitality pool were beautiful and so nice to use. The complimentary birthday cake for my partners 30th was delicious and the extra touch I organised for the room was presented beautifully too.
The bath plug kept coming out and wouldn’t stay in so it was a bit annoying and therefore we couldn’t fully enjoy our bath. Also the plug in the basin was broken too. Also the lighting in the bathroom was very dim so not ideal to do your make up and skin care.

Needs more vallet parking and parking in general as we had to park a fare way from the hotel. Given the cost of the hotel i would have expected more vallet parking/parking near in general. I also paid alot more for an upper floor swan river view room however we ended up with a room on level 7 (low-mid height) right above the bar which was really noisy and lacked privacy and facing the city/Elizabeth key. I could have paid alot less for a room slightly lower and a similar view. In all honestly i would have paid half of what I did for the value of the room we ended up with. However, given the occasion (engagement) we still had a lovely evening and enjoyed our stay, all the staff were lovely and would give them 5 stars.
As above and overpriced for what it is, needs to fix the booking.com advertising for a upper level swan river view room. Could have paid nearly half for a similar room on a slightly lower floor.
