pleasant stay for a few days

Nice hotel. But a bit crowded. It was peak season. At common meals in the restaurant there was more than enough food variety and availability. sufficient seating. Sea access (I wouldn't call it beach) in about 400m distance/ a short walk. staff friendly and attentive. spacious family room with renovated bathrooms in 10th floor

noise level, especially from screaming kids.

Distractie doar pentru copil.

Clubul MARO a fost perfect pentru fetita noastra de 7 ani . Pentru copii e distractie - loc de joaca interioar, sala jocuri video pentru copii mici si mari , seara discoteca pentru copii mici si minispectacole. Piscina pentru copii e perfecta apa de la 1,20 m la 1,50 m.

Marea a fost infecta plina de alge ...in 5 zile nu am reusit sa inotam in Mare. Plaja lasa de dorit, sezlonguriele se platesc 6 euro de persoana acest lucru nu este specificat nici unde in descrieri.

Gerne wieder!!

Die Lage war aussergewöhnlich, ebenso das Personal an der Rezeption. Sehr hundefreundlich mit Napf, Guddis und Spielzeug im Zimmer! Aufmerksames House Keeping.

Die Zimmer dürften etwas moderner eingerichtet sein und ohne Teppich.

Aufenthalt wie in einer Jugendherberge

Sehr zentrale Lage, weitläufige Anlage. Zimmer waren sehr sauber.

Die Zimmer waren sehr heruntergekommen. Eine Sanierung wäre hier dringend notwendig. Matratzen waren durchgelegen. Es waren größere Jungendgruppen im Hotel. Wir waren mit 3 Kindern vor Ort. Vor 23 Uhr war an schlafen nicht zu denken. Es wurde auf den Gängen Fußball gespielt, laut telefoniert oder/und rum geschrien. Eine Beschwerde bei der Rezeption erbrachte keine Verbesserung. Wir fühlten uns wie in einer Jugendherberge. Sowohl morgens als auch abends bot das Buffet eine sehr große Auswahl an Speisen. Allerdings war es geschmacklich nicht wirklich ein Hit. Sehr fad gewürzt. Wir waren Mitte Februar vor Ort und waren sehr enttäuscht.

Food excellent Ambiance good

I accepted a disabled room so that I could be on the same floor as my daughters room, but the bathroom shower flooded the bathroom and was very dangerous for me at 74 years. I should have changed the room, I’m sure the hotel would have obliged but we were on a very busy business trip and we didn’t have time to mess about.

Krásne prostredie. Priestranne izby. Výnijajúci výber raňajky/večera. Milý personal. Ovocná misa a vida na izbe. Super welness. Vrátime sa opať.

Very nice experience

Overall, my experience was very good and pleasant. I really liked the approach Filip from reception had and 2 cleaning ladies on the 4th floor. Bar tenders were below the level you expect in 4 star hotel. Nothing really bad happened, but they can improve on basics (bring water with coffee, ask do you want something if you sit in the lobby, etc)

Noise isolation in rooms could be better.

Everything was very old and looked and felt old. Did not feel like a 4 star hotel considering price paid.

Family holiday with kid age 4 It was first time to stay in a family hotel, had great time in Valamar

The buffet breakfast and dinner was exceptional, both the meals and the staff The pool was nice too The kids facilities (Marlo Club) programs all day isa great help for parents, I highlight staff Zvonimir who was very supportive to our son, highly appriciate the effort

There were no issues that we did not like

A great short weekend

Hotel was great, breakfast and dinner had so much to offer. The bed are really comfortable and the surrounding of the hotel is beautiful.

The indoor pool was too cold, even for the kids, and we could not enjoy it.

At this time of the year, just the right place for a quick holiday, both for grown-ups and kids.

Maro Club and other kids' facilities, awesome meals and the restaurant itself. Clean rooms, water bottle in the room on arrival, free water supply on our floor, nespresso coffee in the room, room service, sustainable approach, friendly staff

December holidays with family

Amazing breakfast and dinner, nice big rooms, 2 toilets. Very clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Hotel was nice decorated - Christmas spirit. For kids - few amazing playgrounds, clown show.. you can spent all day in a hotel with a toddler even on a rainy day.

Unfortunatelly this weekend indoor pools were closed. And paying 3€ for a parking/per day. Not a lot, I'm just not used that you are paying in a resort like this for a parking.

Disappointing

Nowadays food it's ok , but not comparable with variety and quality of some years ago

Structure needs restored. Dirty and scatched walls, Some beatle or spider in the bathroom , hair inside the bedside drawer They don't take away a welcome fruit dish ,it was leave in the room for the whole week (!) . Not good as a four stars

staff was very polite and merry. everybody had a smile for the guests and were very helpful.

Room on 4. floor was small and had a very, very small balcony and no possibility to dry the towels and bath clothes.

Great value for money.

We liked the amenities for the kids. We went with 4 kids aged between 2 and 13 snd it was fun for all of them. Fantastic playgrounds and amazing new technology for them to explore (e.g. they can draw an octopus and see it come alive in a virtual aquarium on the wall), huge playroom with lots of consoles,..

The beach is a few minutes walk from the hotel, not a big deal, just tiring if you are with small kids that constantly roam between the beach and the hotel
