It was very convenient for our needs to visit family and friends. It was exceptionally clean throughout, the staff in their entirety came across very professional and helpful.
There wasn’t anything we didn’t like with the property. However we didn’t really understand the £10 overnight stay for our small dog, there were no provisions for them, no outside water bowls, nowhere to put poo bags etc just basic things if it’s a pet friendly hotel.

The pool was nice. There was a friendly guy working the bar and serving food, he was really apologetic and seemed to be trying to do everything by himself.
The hotel was clearly understaffed, the staff on duty were overwhelmed and didn't know what they were doing. The food was really poor from the restaurant. We waited 2 hours, gave up, cancelled dessert and took our main to go. It was absolutely grim! I didn't know it was possible to get a pizza so wrong.

Everything went well? I requested if possible a disabled room as my husband has mobility issues. The staff came through for us. As we were travelling from France we arrived early not expecting our room to be available, but it was. We sat and had drinks on the terrace after taking our overnight bag to the room, the staff brought our drinks out to us. We ordered an evening meal requesting if possible for it to be delivered to our room, and it was. The room was superb, comfortable and allowing my husband the superb facilities a disabled room gives. The breakfast had everything available whether your choice be full English or continental. Wonderful variety of pastries, jams, coffee and tea. We have stayed many times and have always been thoroughly happy with our choice of hotel and will continue to return whenever. We would not hesitate to recommend Holiday Inn Rugby Northampton to friends and family.
We loved everything, location, staff, cleanliness and quality.

Visited with our VW club with evening meal set out in separate room. Buffet meal was delicious and plenty of it. Breakfast was also of a good standard, except my pain au raisin was stale but apart from that everything was fine.
Absolutely nothing.

It was close to the motorway
My guest did not even get to stay at the hotel because I had booked an Executive Room, only for us to get there to check them in and I was told that my room was no longer available. The guest was offered to be put in a “STANDARD TWIN ROOM” instead which was embarrassing as this was a VIP guest and this could have cost me a business deal. Help me make that make sense. Anyway, we just had to leave and go somewhere else.

Check in was efficient and welcoming and the room was just as we had hoped. Breakfast was excellent. Everything was delivered with a smile which makes all the difference.
The hotel has undergone some refurbishment which is to a good standard. There are some finishing touches which would make a difference.

Swimming pool, breakfast
Location too much in the middle of nowhere

Nice bright and clean reception, bar and dining areas. Room was ok, bottom of shower broken & no extractor fan. Value for money was reasonable.
En-suite
Mattress was foot end at head?! Was clearly labelled foot end! Air freshener through air on was sickly nasty floral type smell so kept air con off.

We stayed before and we weren't disappointed this time either. My daughter doesn't like spiders and there was one in our room the girl behind the bar offered to go up and get rid of it.. she was my little girls hero I think her name was lyndsay.. lovely and friendly lady.
The food menu was a little too pricey for us so we didn't eat there unfortunately..

The staff were very nice.
Below par. The overall quality of the room, from the very lumpy bed, to the small, leaking shower, and the peeling paint by the door, screams cheap construction and amenities. Except the price was not particularly cheap.

Very family friendly, the kids were spoilt with snacks and small toys on arrival. Kids eat free and a pool to swim in.
The chlorine in the pool affected the kids eyes. Next time I will make sure they have goggles

Made a request for health reasons which was accommodated speedily.
Sleep was comfortable.
Twin beds were put together and one quilt and sheet stretched over both. Was effectively a double bed with a ridge in the middle.
