Perfect location, large historic building, spotlessly clean. Very friendly staff...and an amazing terrace breakfast room. Totally recommend staying here. Grazir mille!
Everything was super.

this hotel is really unique in terms of location, furniture and staff. excellent value for money during high season. great place to be
Wifi or any other internet connection didn’t work in the room. the room was very dark. the neighbors house was only 1,5m in front of the window. but better than no window at all..
3.7
Good location, close to centre attractions and town
Wifi was not supplied. 0 cell service in room also made it impossible to use internet inside the hotel.

The building is old and stinky. The feeling you get when you enter the room is horrible. I felt like I was in a horrormovie.

Very nice staff. Very cute top floor terrace with tables where you can enjoy the sunset. Bathroom was ok, with a confortable shower cabin. All very clean.
- I could barely get wifi in the room, always failing. I was told it was because the room was not well located. Well, in such case I expect the staff to clarify this in the room description or make it clear to the customer in some way before he commits to getting that room. That can be really annoying if you need to work or just be connected.
- Bed headborad was wobbly, barely stable on the ground, barely attached to the bedside tables, such that if I sat on the bed and try to lean on the headboard it would move and almost fall.

location was amazing
Wi-Fi didn’t work in the room, the room was dark and dingy and the shower was full of mold

Excellent location right next to the duomo and city centre. Easy walk to all key sights. Doorstep to the big fountain. My rating would be much lower save the location.
Hotel is not well kept maintenance-wise. Furniture and facilities are run down and old. No wifi (owner said to go to ground floor and ask for password and use there if needed - very inconvenient). Cleanliness is okay, but rooms doesn’t appear deep cleaned. What offsets these negatives is the location and the big room. Bed relatively comfy but I don’t trust the cleanliness of the blankets. No aircon, just a fan.

The hotel is located in a fantastic place, close to the promenade, the biggest cathedrals, the main shopping street, and Via Garibaldi with several museums. The room was very big and equipped with everything you need. Breakfast was quite nice with a great view from the terrace. The staff amazingly friendly and helpful, much appreciated.

Tons of charm and character in the heart of Genoa. I got a friendly and efficient welcome and all the help and advice I needed. If you don't need brand new facilities and decor, but do want to be in the heart of the city, look no further. Staying here really added to my experience of Genoa.
Rooms and facilities are a little old-fashioned, the furniture and decor upcycled and homemade in vibe; but it's all clean and comfortable, and better, memorable and great value. Sadly breakfast on the roof terrace wasn't available during my stay, but I went up to enjoy the skyline view anyway and got a coffee and focaccia around the corner instead.

The hotel is located in the historic center next to the Grand square (Piazza Raffaele de Ferrari)
Old furniture (similar to antique) that needs at least renovation or repair (the table under the TV had a broken leg; chair on the floor lobby was torn; the door of the wardrobe has not closed). In some places the walls are affected by fungus.
The window of the room where we've stayed was with a view to the next door house, so it was very dark in the room.
One more problem was not very friendly staff we've talked to, in particular, on arriving we have faced the problem that rooms with sigle beds that we'd booked where unavailable. The hotel administrator refused nor to separate beds, nor to refund money (the proposal was to pay extra money for additional room). When we've asked administrator to find the solution for their mistake, he shouted to us something in Italian, which sounded like "hate speech". The problem was sold after we've contacted booking.com. Actually, instead of enjoying the sea sunset, we spent 1.5 hours solving the accommodation problems...

Location central
dark - lonely - very old style and not so clean

The position is perfect, in the center.
The breakfast is really good, however it costs 9 euro and there are better options nearby the hotel.
The employees are always ready to help.
The wifi had a good signal, but the speed was slow.
