A perfect place to discover the beauty of a traditional house (riad) in the ancient medina of Meknes.
The interior garden is amazing.
Hosts are really great.
Strongly recommended to eat their home-made delicious tagine served at dinner (you should tell them in advance).
Internet connection should be improved.

Nice peaceful place inside the medina but hard to find.
It took us a long time to figure out where to park and were not able to contact them very well. Also, our booked room for 4 adults was changed into two separate rooms which were less comfortable. The room upstairs has quite some defects. Aircondition wiring was faulty, doors did not close well and the shower is very tiny. Also, wifi is not stable.

We stayed only two nights in this Riad and the overall experience was very good. The owner was very kind and helpful. The inner courtyard and the room are very beautiful, in a traditional style. The price for the value was very good. The Riad is located in the old medina of Meknes so you need guide to get there from the Lahdim Square. When we arrived it was a little bit cold, there is no electrical heating, but we used a wood stove and it was very nice. During the night it was very quiet. The old gates in Meknes are under renovation but we went also one day to Fes.

The authenticity and helpful staff. Great experience for one night.
We were cold at night despite the fireplace in the room.

Rooms are HUGE, and there is a real fire place in rooms, which can be used free of charge during cold weather. Very high ceiling, 5-6 metres, no less. It's like a castle room. Same goes for the bathroom, it's massive, there is even a bench in showers . Very quiet in the evening, too. Orange trees grow right in the inner yard.
Literally impossible to find without asking around. A hidden gem, but do get in touch with a manager to meet you, otherwise you'll be wandering around and won't find the place.

Lovely house in the centre of Meknes, though incredibly quite at night. The room was comfortable and spacious. The patio is beautiful!
The owner was very sweet and ready to help (helped us organize tour to Volubilis).
We would definitely come back

This is a beautiful old house with a lovely courtyard of orange trees and a banana tree. We used the courtyard one night to eat a takeaway dinner and we enjoyed breakfast in a comfortable well decorated living area.
The owner showed us the way to a restaurant for dinner on our first night and helped us get a 3 hour taxi hire to Voulibis and Moulay Idriss. He also very kindly did our washing for us.
It was great that our kids had a separate sleeping area and in the evening we could relax and talk without disturbing them.
The breakfast was a bit stingy and it was served at 9am which was too late for us. The kids got half portions which isn’t much when you already have a small breakfast.
The room was a bit cold as mentioned in other reviews. There was a fire but only one piece of wood and we didn’t use it as we didn’t want the kids touching the fireplace as there was no guard.
Also we brought Euros to pay as that is the ‘hotel preferred currency’ in booking.com but we had to pay in dirhams which meant an extra trip out to get it.

Good location, close to main square/attractions and restaurants.
Rooms are clean, big and well decorated - a bit cold (end of March), so perfect to get a bit of fresh during the hot summer, I guess!
Breakfast is included and delicious.
Thami is helpful and positive.
No info about what to do/see, where to go, how to get around.
