Amazing furniture and decorations, rich and delicious breakfast, very kind staff.

Well located riad on the edge of the medina so not too difficult to find. The host is welcoming and attentive. The room and bathroom were generous in size and the wifi excellent. Traditional Moroccan breakfast was fine. Note that there is a large amount of restoration work going on in Meknes as at May 2023 so many of the sites are either closed or behind hoardings and not visible.

Very beautiful Riad in the middle of the medina of Meknes. We were a bit early, but were welcomed right away with a mint tea and could check in right away. The room and the whole building was amazing, very well restored.
The owner was very welcoming for any questions and gave very good recommendations for local food and things to do in the city.
The Breakfast was also very good, everything one could ask for.
Overall a great experience! Thank you

The Riad is easy to find and managed by very nice people. We felt very welcome there. Our room was really comfortable and the Riad itself is absolutely lovely and beautiful. The highlight is the roof terrace. We could enjoy the excellent breakfast at the terrace - a perfect start to our days in Meknes.

my stay at Riad Benchekroun was great! Is it in a good location easy to find it, also with the sign on the streets indicated the place. Rachid was super welcoming with me, he give me the right indication to the place to go. The place is amazing and superclean and the rooftop it is wonderful. The rooms are super nice. The staff is great and Ibtissam is very cute, she was very kind with me. My stay was wonderful and I wondering now to have been longer. Definitely high recommend!

Very atmospheric riad right in the historic centre of Meknes. Spacious rooms set around a cool courtyard. The staff was very helpfull and cooked us some great meals!

Our host served tea and snacks immediately upon our arrival. The rooftop terraces where we ate were beautiful. Dinner & breakfast were extremely good. It was the Best lamb tajine we had. Our host came to get us as the gate and assisted with a guide the next day. We got a porter from the riad the next morning to take our bags to the car.
It was hard for us to find where to park. We ended up driving through a crowded Medina where we had to get help from the locals to get the car turned around. Once we got to a parking lot, the riad host came and directed us to parking just outside of the city gate. He seemed to know the parking people and after a couple rotations around, we were helped with a really good parking spot in a very crowded street.

I have stayed in hundfreds of hotels in many countries in alll corners of the world but this medieval riad in the middle of the beautiful medieval medina of Meknès is magic and one of the most special Places I have ever stayed. Fantastic rooftop terrace where we had our dinners and extremely helpful and friendly people working in the riad. Thank you so much for this experience!

Tucked away from busy medina streets yet right in the middle of it. You couldn’t tell where you were until you stepped on the roof terrace to realise that all central attractions are right beside you.
Everything was great

The building itself was an experience. The staff was kind and helpful, especially the young lady called Ibtissam (if I spell it right!). Living around an atrium gave to us the experience of how it should have been living in an ancient Greek or Roman times villa. This is a must once you are in Morocco. This kind of house brings people together, obviously because it was designed to host one family living away from the eyes of those who don't belong to the family. When you first walk in the narrow streets of a medina you can't imagine that behind the tall walls there is so much... family life, often luxurious!
Breakfast was as good as in every Riad -seems there are standards but no imagination in Morocco. The indoors looking architecture of a Riad keeps the noise of the street out but of course you always risk to get the noise of the ...other guests. But here we have been lucky!

This riad is very well situated just inside the atmospheric heart of the medina. We were the only guests for our entire five nights stay so were given our choice of rooms. We chose the top floor terrace room. Although smaller than the others, it has access to the beautiful sunny rooftop terrace--so it felt a little like staying in a small penthouse. The riad is beautifully decorated in traditional Moroccan style. Breakfasts were good, even delicious, but mainly breads and crepes with an egg, plus decent coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. Not much variety. The manager, Rachid, helped us get a driver to take us to Volubilis. We felt pretty well taken care of--conscientious cleaning plus efficient laundry service at a reasonable price. Thank you again for your service: Rachid, Ipsesam, Fatiha, and Khadija. Forgive any misspellings
Lighting is very dim -- even with all lights on, reading is nearly impossible.
