location was outstanding and apartment size was good.
after giving notice that we would be a midnight arrival and arranging to pick up keys, whoever was on duty refused to let us in saying we needed to pay a $200 key deposit. Baring in mind we had already paid the full $1400 bill in advance why could they not have asked for this sooner and regardless to leave us standing after travelling from Perth that day was appalling. Eventually we phoned an emergency number and a lovely bloke came and sorted things out and fetched us our key.
We also had no tv for four out of seven days which we got a $65 refund for but we picked an apartment rather than a hotel as we were spending a lot of time in it so again not ideal.

great location, lovely view, well maintained grounds
fairly original interior, some random furniture items placed oddly in apartment. outdoor furniture needs updating. need to take down the reception sign on the block we stayed in to clear up where and how to get to the actual reception.

Location good
Nice view
Comfy bed
Furnishing needs updating,lounges
very old and worn, curtains dirty and need cleaning
Only 3 pillows,probably could have 4
Room 3016 noisy on weekends, next to restaurant
Property is like a maze,very confusing 🤦♀️
Pool is actually hard to get out of,exits are too steep and surfaces hurt your feet 👣
Finally….parking IS ADVERTISED on booking.com and property website for free but they will try and charge you….had this conversation at least 3-4 times with staff but obviously don’t read there notes before ringing me and wanting me to pay….if NOT FOR FREE change your description on the website and booking.com to save the confusion 🤦♀️

everything was as expected

The room we stayed was quite big and view the river. Garden with creek was pretty and pool was great for us. A few meters away to the shops and short walk to the city cat. We walked to the south bank along side of the river for about 40mins. We had dedicated carpark was really helped us.
Our room TV and main bedroom ceiling light and bedside table light didn't work. We asked at the reception very next day of our stay to fix it but until the end of the stay no one come to fix the problems.
The bathroom and laundry seems not have fan so need to keep the door open when use. If we stayed in summer, I wonder how hot and humid it will be inside of the house...

The location of the hotel was quite central and within walking distance to restaurants, pubs, and even the city. The surroundings were quite tropical, and the room had a beautiful view of the river. There were lots of lizards around which was really cool, and the pool and spa were quite relaxing. Room came with soap, dish soap, dishwasher granules, washing detergent and toilet paper, and was quite clean. While the after hours check in process was quite confusing, staff were very friendly.
The after hours check in process was very confusing, as my booking couldn't be found, and you could not check in at the reception on site, but had to walk a block over to another site to check in then walk back. The map was quite hard to understand. The smoke alarm in my room kept going off, which meant sleep was quite unpleasant and interrupted (unsure if this was because of the humidity or because of the proximity of the fan to the smoke alarm). Reception advised to remove the batteries from the smoke alarms to stop this from happening. There was no aircon in the bedroom and the fan seemed to be setting the smoke alarm off. The room was pretty worse for wear - lots of scratches in the walls and quite old interior. The air-conditioner was also leaking - again unsure if this was because of the humidity.

Amazing view of the river

Was told to arrive at one address but then was told it was closed and had to go to another address for my booking.

Great location and well managed. Friendly staff. We had a great stay! Perfect location for a longer stay! Calm, but still close to the city. We appreciated the large balcony with view over the Brisbane River. Nice!

The only good thing about this place is the location. The Dockside walkway along the river is brilliant and tucked under the Story Bridge there are some good eating options and ferry services. This is the attraction that sucks people into staying here.
Everything else was appalling. The apartment has not been updated since originally built in the 1980s I'd say. Old tired kitchen and bathrooms and a TV that doesn't work - seriously! We requested a change the next morning which was obliged willingly by Irena (who was fantastic). Bridgewater Quays had a much better front on to river view (Terraces only a small side on view) but it also is tired and in much need of basic maintenance. And not entirely clean (someone else's hair in the shower grate!!). See pics of this and broken shower tap ware and tiles, one of several rips in the carpet and chipped kitchen cupboards. Mostly our gripe is that we paid over $410 per night for both sub- standard offering s and they are definitely NOT worth that.

Great location, convenient parking.
Broken lift, terrible WiFi and generally a bit tired

Easy to get to and great location! We were able to walk along the river day and night. Close to take away shops. Pool and apartment were both very clean.

The location is great. Other units were nice.
I rang several days before to enquire about the unit as I have mobility issues, a disability parking permit and was travelling with my elderly parents and I mentioned this to staff. I was told they couldn’t tell me which unit. Arrived and found a boat in the next car park that stuck out several feet, requiring lots of manoeuvres to get out. Then we had a unit that after you get out of the lift, you then had to walk up several stairs to the unit. One light in the bathroom didn’t work and a dripping tap. Bed was SO hard and in the kitchen the Internet required 2 cables with one running from one end of the kitchen bench and the other running from the other end.

need to upgrade furniture, handles are loose organize cupboards , fix glass doors as it can’t be close security concern… lucky the unit was up stairs

Beautiful gardens and great location.
The managers Denis and Rae were so friendly and helpful.
The beds were too hard.
Due to recent flooding the pool was closed, understandably, it was a shame but we understand it’s not their fault.

the pool was out of use and also workmen were working on unit above for 2 day, very noisy as I just got out of hospital. I feel that we should have been notified as I was there for rest

The beds were a little hard

The venue was excellent. Walking distance to local cafes and restaurants and a slightly longer treck(1.2k) to Howard Smith Wharves . The rooms were spacious with a great kitchen. Excellent river views and good value.
The only downside to our visit was the lack of an elevator due to flood damage but no big deal breaker. Just got a little more exercise than normal as we were on the third floor.
4.0
Good location on the river. Convenient for eating out and easy to get into the city. Fabulous for walking and cycling. Attractive gardens throughout the complex.
Wasn't offered a riverfront unit and the description is vague, suggesting that it will be waterfront. Poor attention to cleaning. Patio was filthy - had to request it be cleaned. Shower hadn't been cleaned - shampoo bottle from previous occupants left in shwr. Poor crockery selection, with no side plates at all. Bed very uncomfortable, with wheels that didn't lock - kept moving around the room. Furniture was spartan and was grubby and stained. Milk (provided in fridge) had expired 5 months previously. Pool was shut for entire 5 days we were there - potentially due to recent floods but no explanation or apology provided by management.
