Location was wonderful. The room was spacious. There was a small rooftop pool we did not use. There is a beautiful view from the rooftop. The hotel is on a Main Street yet quiet.
The staff was wonderful especially Daniel.
Tv had intermittent problems. Bathroom was on second floor of room.

El hotel es pequeño pero hermoso

We enjoyed the size of the room. That there were not many guests. The building is nice. Bed is comfortable. Price was too high even with discount.
Not enough power plugs to connect and charge your phone. Only 2. Only 1 side table for 2 beds unacceptable. Some of the furniture is a bit outdated. Breakfast was not included. Parking was not included. No amenities. Swimming pool was dirty and not usable. Beverages not included. No fridge.

The location was excellent. The breakfast and service were great. The room was comfortable and clean.

Food and staff were top notch. Very helpful with suggestions and any problems that came up. If we had an issue, which was rare the staff solved it immediately. The rooms were beautiful. Especially the master suite.
It’s noisy. But the location is worth it.

Breakfast was good, coffee was a bit weak. Better coffee would be a good improvement.
The bed was not comfortable.

A really amazing property with the friendliest staff you can imagine. Rooms are great!
We had some hair on the bed, but overall it was still very clean.

The check-in was quick, and the room was wonderful. The indoor garden is really beautiful, and the staff was super nice. They brought us nieve de guanabana (soursop sorbet) when we checked in! We didn’t check out the pool, but the breakfast was delicious. Also, the location was perfect for our one day stay to explore Cholula.
Nothing.

The location was great, and the place was quite nice when we walked in. Rooms were spacious and breakfast was good as well. Amenities inside the room were alright, but average, considering this is rated as a 5 star hotel.
The AC dripped, and we reported this to the front desk in the afternoon and headed out. Upon returning, the front desk person said he did not send anyone to check the AC because "there was an event", and since it kept dripping, he went inside the room at 11 pm, climbed up to the AC and "checked it". When we asked if it was fixed, he said "I don't know, I have never done this". We asked to change rooms because the constant dripping was annoying, and he said there were no rooms available. His partner, who supposedly would be able to fix the AC, came in at 11.30 and offered us a single bed room (now there were available rooms?). We had initially booked for a room with two double beds, and had to accommodate in a single double bed, which was very uncomfortable. At breakfast, the staff was inexperienced and it really showed. When we checked out, we told the front desk lady about the event and she said she could only reimburse 40% of our stay, instead of owning up to their mistakes and making a full refund or offering other type of compensation. This is a 3 star hotel at best.

It was beyond what I was hoping for in all of the best ways. Staff was very courteous and went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. Breakfast was great. Property is close to everything. Very clean and nice. Rooftop pool nice as well. Very relaxing. When I left I had to catch an early flight out of Mexico City and they arranged an early cab and woke me up, had coffee to go ready for me. A phenomenal experience and I plan on returning with my family ❤️
They were great. I honestly can’t think of anything I would improve

Very good breakfast included.
Secure parking off street.
Cold Floors (recommended to Reception to provide disposable slippers like found in Japan or Korea).

Outstanding, helpful people. Very nice. Breakfast was 1st class.
After a few days I had to leave at 4;00 am,. they asked me if I would like a sandwich to go since I left early. Very nice and then they walked me to my car. A+ staff. I will stay there again. And in walking distance of everything.

Very exclusive! Only 7 suites! Loved everything about it! Front desk was very nice and accommodating with early and late check-in and checkout. Our upgraded suite had sunken jacuzzi in the large bathroom, high ceilings, comfortable king bed, sitting area, good A/C and very spacious. The delicious gourmet breakfast was well organized, placing orders the evening before. Location was perfect! We’d love to go back!!

Incredible massage by Karen
Absence of warmth inside the room: it was very surprising to not see one single rug in the entire property and specially inside the room and bathroom. The floor ceramic is very cold, and with the high ceiling and lack of colors, it makes the room uninviting, not cozy. I even thought that might be on purpose to give the place a monastic sense, but who wants that at a luxury price. Please through some of the beautiful local textiles around. Also more fluffy pillows.

We had a fantastic stay at Estrella de Belem while visiting Cholula.
The hotel is in a perfect location: a couple of minutes walk from the pyramid, church, La Ciudad Sagrada (the best restaurant in town) and a jazz club.
The staff are very professional and attentive. They were always available to bring drinks or answer any questions. The hotel even provided us a miniature bottle of Prosecco as well as olives and cheese to the poolside for our anniversary, which was greatly appreciated. These personal touches make the difference.
The included breakfast is exceptional. Fruit skewers with chocolate, yogurt and granola, coffee and your choice of many different mains. We had the prawn crepe and the chorizo and mole covered scrambled eggs - both were delicious and indulgent.
The pool is perfect for unwinding and the terrace has spectacular views of the church and surroundings. A staff member takes drink and food orders regularly so you can enjoy a cocktail in the sunshine.
The rooms are very big and have two floors. Our top floor had a single bed and coffee machine and the ground floor had the bedroom and bathroom. I know some of the other rooms have the bathroom upstairs so you may want to ask for room 5 if you have issues with stairs.
We wouldn´t stay anywhere else in Cholula after discovering this hotel.
It is relatively expensive (approx. 3,000 including tax per night) for Mexico but you get what you pay for at the end of the day.
