This marvelous three-bedroom, three-bath unit is beautifully outfitted in a blend of modern and “beachy” flair, and is sure to be comfortable for the entire group. The master bedroom features a king-sized bed and en-suite bathroom, as well as its own private third floor balcony with an amazing sunrise view! The second bedroom is outfitted with a queen bed, while the third has a pair of twin beds and its own TV (perfect for kids!). The fully-stocked kitchen opens up into an airy living and dining area, with seating at the table for 6 and plenty of cozy chairs from which to look out at the beach through the floor-to-ceiling sliding-glass doors. A sleeper sofa in the living room. The balcony also has table and chairs from which you can enjoy the view as you sip your coffee in the mornings. This town home does not allow pets.

This townhome in Beachside Colony was very nice. Great views from double balconies and easy to access pool and beach. Great beach location. We used a beach chair/umbrella service for ease, but condo had some. Located north of the chaos of south end of island, this is a perfect spot for a peaceful retreat. Only changes I'd suggest would be add a dish drainer to the kitchen and rethink the Primary bedroom furniture. Lack of chest of drawers was inconvenient for a 2 night stay, but would be very annoying for a longer one. Xtra long bedside table (looked like old sofa end table) equaled bruised shins in the middle of the night. Also, more than 2 or 3 hangars per closet if you aren't providing drawers for clothes. Otherwise, we really liked this townhome and would rent again.

We booked this house in April. We found it clean , centrally located , and beautiful. I really enjoyed the stay at this site. The parking garage was very convienient and the gated area kept out the day crowd. It was nice and I would definitely stay here again.

The good: The location is great. Short walk to the beach, outdoor shower, large garage with room to park and store beach toys. Lots of stairs. The stairs to the top floor are steep and narrow. We didn’t let our kids go down them alone. Cleaners need to use mops, the floors were gritty and our feet were black just after unloading our car when we got there. I know it’s hard to get up all the sand but looks like they just swifter the place between guests and that doesn’t cut it. Bathrooms need updating. The tubs are gross and old. Didn’t feel clean after giving our kids a bath in them.

We had 5 adults and a toddler and it was a perfect beach vacation. Tybee has plenty of activities/bars/restaurants for the adults to enjoy, but staying at Beachside Colony was the perfect location away from the Pier congestion to have a peaceful family beach vacation. The Deck is the best restaurant on the island and is steps away. The condo was clean, with amazing views and had a great walkway right out to the beach in under 2 minutes. Highly recommend this resort.

This townhome was perfect for our family. It has the most amazing ocean view from the master bedroom and living room. We also had a separate easy beach access from the rest of the resort. The beds are extremely comfortable and everything was clean as expected. This is our favorite and only choice when visiting Tybee. The onsite office here is very welcoming and helpful. while this property is pet friendly, the beach is not, you can not take your dog on the beach. Also, there's 3 levels to this condo, so if you have weak/bad knees, this is not a place for you because there's no way out but to go up and down steep stairs. It's a beautiful condo, just has it's challenges.

We came back to make memories only to find no art on the walls, no books, no board games, nothing like it use to be. It use to feel like home, and had things to look at. Now it was just play on our phones or go to the beach . The house was so sterile and boring. Also prices were extremely high. We use to come with our Mother and get 3 nights for $900. Now 3 nights was $2700. We didn’t even get an alarm clock in our room. Only one bedside table. No colors. NO CURTAINS on the living room to block the high intense sun. Pool closed at 6 on Friday?

Great location, views were beautiful, plenty of room and nice to have garage but its tight so unless you are driving a sedan or smaller you will have to park outside the garage. didn't realize when i booked there were so many stairs - tall staircase from garage to main floor and tall to second level bedrooms. Wore us out a bit and not fun with groceries, suitcases etc. but we used the exercise to justify the meals we ate! Food at onsite restaurant was delicious.

Easy access to the beach was important and appreciated. The one car garage was useful for my husband’s bike storage. This would not be a good rental for someone who can’t easily climb stairs. Proximity to a bar and restaurant next-door came in handy many times. The king size bed in the primary was a bit too firm for my taste, but my husband was fine; two twin beds we’re comfortable, and the queen size bed on the main level was very soft, comfortable. Ocean view was great. There are two balconies. Wi-Fi service was spotty at times and difficult for my husband during the workday but he got through it with work arounds. There are many pots and pans to choose from for cooking. We added a cookie sheet for future guests. Plastic wrap and plastic, baggies or Tupperware would be a benefit to any future guests but it is not typical to find them in rentals. We left the ones we bought. I appreciated that they were bars of soap to start out with and plenty of toilet paper and shampoo and conditioner. The clothes washer and dryer worked well and detergent was left for us to use which was nice. The dryer vent had not been clean for a while so I cleaned that out. Towels were very soft and bedding was high quality. I would definitely stay at this rental again.

My wife and I rented last minute,looking for a place to relax for a few days prior to moving our son from Georgia to Indiana. We didn't need all this room, but like I said, last minute. So happy we rented this lovely town home. First of all, we love Beachside Colony. We've been there several times and rented different units. This unit has a garage that could possibly fit two vehicles (front to back). You come in the front door, then up stairs to the main level with a great balcony and ocean view. Then up stairs to the top level. Another fantastic ocean view on a balcony from the master bedroom. The washer and dryer are a plus (stacked unit). And our favorite place to eat, "The Deck", is right on the property. We had some drinks outside at the bar, then a great dinner our first night there. The staff at the restaurant are always great and the food is fantastic. If you like grouper, you won't be disappointed. We're thinking of bringing some family down with us the next time, as this place is fantastic. There are beach chairs and toys for the kids in the garage. There are also beach chairs with umbrellas to rent for $40 from a separate business. But I think they only set up on Thursdays to Sundays. We loved our stay and look forward to returning to Beachside Colony again.

Overall the property was great! The location was perfect as was the layout of the condo. It was a little dated and could use some upgrades. Neither of the sliding doors locked. The cleaner that was used on the floor left a very sticky, slippery film and didn’t feel clean. The master bedroom mattress was extremely uncomfortable. By the third night, our backs hurt so bad we didn’t even want to go to bed!

First time to Tybee/Savannah and it won't be the last! This place is a GEM! Townhome was fully stocked and had everything our family of 5 needed. The property was gorgeous and we were just steps from the beach. Sunrises from the balconies were our favorite. The restaurant on-site was an extra perk. My only suggestion is maybe a curtain on the main floor doors. At the same time, the view was breathtaking. The sun was a little bright in the am for the person sleeping on the pull-out. Not a downfall by any means. Also, we weren't aware we could park in the garage (which made the neighbors mad) but a quick phone call from the manager and we moved our second vehicle in. All in all, I would say we will definitely be back to this beautiful place!

We loved the rental, the view is exactly as shown in the photo. The town house itself was clean, roomy and comfortable just as described in the listing. Private access to the beach from the back entrance was wonderful. Just a short walk over the dune and you are on the beach. The Deck restaurant right next door had great food an outside beach side deck for dining and wonderful service. It is a little far to walk to the main shops in town, I would recommend a golf cart rental or bike rental if you do not want to move your vehicle. The unit has a gated entry and a two car garage. Check in was quick and easy as well as check out. I would recommend this rental for relatives and friends.

Condo was roomy great view, very out dated. The walls looked dirty.Like the haven't been scrubbed in years. The floors were filthy when we arrived. The broom was broken so I guess they didn't sweep or mop. The toilets still had human hair on the back and around the toilet. Besides that great view nice staff.

Had an amazing time until the power coming into the Island went out early Wednesday morning later coming back mid morning Wednesday. Power wasn't restored to the entire island until sometime later. As a result our group decided to pack it up and leave a day early. No one's fault but sadly we left a day early and yet paid for five days.

First I want to say, the view was AMAZING. But more bad then good... When we got there the whole condo wasn’t cleaned very well. There was still sand and stuff in the floors. The whole kitchen needs upgraded. The handle to oven was welded on very ******. The fridge was discolored with yellow gunk. The overhead stove light didn’t work. The fridge and freezer had crumbs in it. The dishes were not washed or clean. We ended up driving out and purchasing our own to use which was very upsetting. The WiFi didn’t work the whole time we were there. The TVs wouldn’t even come on half the time either. The living room chairs were so uncomfortable. The garage was full of old trash, beat up boogie boards, broken beach chairs, etc. it was gross and such an eye sore. The pools were shut down most of our stay which is disappointing bc with our kids we spend most of our time at the pool. Pools were not very clean either. They were full of sand, bugs and random small pieces of trash/debris. The pool deck was gross. Small trash laying everywhere. The didn’t sweep up the debris falling from the trees so you had to walk on it instead of a clean clear pool deck. The chairs at the pool need upgraded too they seemed to be super old and worn out. The girl at the front desk was nice and apologized but that didn’t change the fact the whole overall condo was absolutely terrible. She even told me it’s one of the worst condos they have and they’re trying to get the owners to upgrade. We did call the office twice to tell the issues and didn’t get an answer so we let it go until checkout just bc we were trying to enjoy our time and since we already paid we were trying to make the best of it. The only good thing was the condo had an amazing ocean view and was beachfront. Overall. We wouldn’t recommend this resort and defiantly not the condo we had! To the owners: as much as you charge, UPGRADE YOUR CONDO!

We did call the office twice to tell the issues and didn’t get an answer so we let it go until checkout just bc we were trying to enjoy our time and since we already paid we were trying to make the best of it. The only good thing was the condo had an amazing ocean view and was beachfront. Overall. We wouldn’t recommend this resort and defiantly not the condo we had! To the owners: as much as you charge, UPGRADE YOUR CONDO!

Great Location, That's about it
Location was great but the place is in the need of some serious TLC! Not clean at all! Fridge had stains on the lower half of it. Dish washer did not work properly, many broken spokes and rust in the dish rack. It needs to be replaced. No dish drain so we could dry our dishes. Handle on the stove broke off completely while trying to open it. Place was not stocked with dish soap, hand soap, etc and described in ad. No blind in kid's BR. Incomplete kitchen, had to go buy a can opener, measuring cups, etc. This is a separate set of buildings from the rest of Beach Side Colony, so beware that this is a 3 story unit, not a single story like the others. Will return here again someday, just not this unit.

My family and I love to vacation on Tybee Island. We always stay at Beachside Colony Resort. The location is perfect, as it is located directly oceanfront and at Mid Beach. This year we stayed in Atlantic Ocean Home #09, which is a townhome. We loved it. It is directly adjacent to the main office in a gated community. We enjoyed access to the on-site restaurant, The Deck, and three beautiful and well-maintained pools. The pool area is super clean and comfortable and is only steps from the beach. Food and drinks from The Deck are some of the best on the island. Our townhome was super clean and furnished nicely. We had our own entrance to the beach, which was only steps away from our door. The view from the master bedroom and the living room is amazing. The property was beautifully maintained and well-cared for. I can't say enough about the staff at Beachside Colony. They are super friendly and helpful and always go above and beyond to make sure that my family and I are comfortable and have everything we need for the perfect vacation. The only thing that I would recommend about this property is that more photos be added to the site. I strongly recommend this townhome and all other Beachside Colony rentals to anyone. I am already planning my next trip!

great view
The property overall was very nice. Great view of the beach. We were very disappointed in the cleanliness of the unit. The floors in the living area/kitchen were dirty. When we first got there and walked barefoot bottom of our feet were black, and we had just gotten there. The master bath had mold around tub and in jets in tub and there was a dirty wash cloth in cabinet under the sink in master. The carpet in master had trash on the floor. The bathroom on the kitchen level had mold and the shower curtain had mold. We had to pay a cleaning fee and we were instructed to clean up before we left. Which I understand taking out trash and stripping beds. But the cleaning fee we paid should be used for cleaning floors and tubs.
