Buona la colazione a buffet ,buona la cena al ristorante . Camere spaziose e pulite anche se datate.
Andrebbe riammodernato un po’. Il rapporto qualità prezzo non è adeguata

Great location, beautiful grand building. The staff were all very welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable.
Some of the common areas could use a bit of a refresh, but conditions are to be expected for the age of the building

Staff were friendly. Nice grounds and building facade. Bathroom had been refurbished which was very pleasant. Although the door opened onto the toilet and banged every time anyone went to the loo!
Uncomfortable beds, very tired decor and furniture. Breakfast was passable but lacked any form of presentation or pizzazz.

The hotel and grounds were great. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The location was what we wanted having had a ferry to the mainland from Stornoway.
5.0
Great location, scenic grounds, and lovely hotel within. The restaurant was also very spacious and the food was excellent as were the staff.
The only fault with this property would be that it isn’t as easy to get to or from without a car. There is a bus stop just outside, but there is only one bus an hour and none on a Sunday. However there are plenty of buses from Dingwall which is about 15 pounds in a taxi from the hotel.

The room had a metal fire escape outside window, the window wouldn't open.
Room and beds very clean and comfy.
Dinner was very poor, baked cod which was hard and not nice.not informed before booking that vat would be added and also £10 each for 2 dogs. This made the bill considerably more than I expected.

Strathpeffer is the most northerly spa town in the uk and the victorians would travel up from London for a visit. This hotel is located next door to the train station, which is now converted into a museum, cafe & shop. The railway line is a now a scenic walk for tourists. The Ben Wyvis hotel has a great location and fits is a well fitting addition with its grand Victorian architecture. Features include a big drive way & garden which takes you well off the main road though it is only a two minute walk from the village square and spa pavilion. The hotel itself has an impressive large dining hall with high ceilings and two big chandeliers. I would definitely choose it for your stay. The room was very clean, beds were comfy and they served haggis at the breakfast buffet👍

Location perfect. Friendly helpful staff. Excellent food.
Bed was a little on the hard side. Lighting atmospheric but not good if you wanted to read. Availability of a bright reading light would have been appreciated.

We chose this hotel because it is dog friendly. We received a warm and friendly welcome on arrival.
Our room was comfortable, modern decor and very clean. There was a selection of teas, coffee, hot chocolate and shortbread. Toiletries were lovely from the Highland Soap Company.
We reserved a table in the lounge for our evening meal. The staff serving were friendly and helpful. Service was prompt and the food was good.
There is lots to explore in the area, and also a good base for touring the Highlands.
We very much enjoyed our stay, we found the staff friendly and helpful. Whilst the building is old, we found the bedroom to be decorated and furnished to a high standard. The ensuite had a bath and shower within, it was immaculate.
I absolutely believe we got more than our monies worth and will return in the future.
We had no concerns during our stay.

Building was very beautiful and location was lovely. staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Rooms very dated. Bathroom falling apart. peeling wallpaper, chipped paint, toilet roll holder half hanging on the wall and blinds ripped off on a non glazed full length window. Photo on website not accurate to my room. Food wasn’t great either, morning breakfast was cold and dinner was chewy and dry

Clean, neat and tidy, bathroom very nice decor and very clean.
Unable to comment on food as we were room only
Not impressed with the room for what we asked for and the price we paid. It was stated as a 'Superior Twin Room'. This is not what I call superior, could this be just because we had a view of the garden? Scuffed skirting boards, chipped window panes, windows didn't open to allow for some fresh air.
Priced on the high side for room only

Very nice building, our room could do with a bit more heating and renovation but otherwise pleasant stay!

hotel well placed in the village and everything walkable
we couldn't work out how to get the radiator in the bathroom to work consequently the room was a bit chilly
