Lovely hostess and clean beddings
Shower head too small, so is the bathroom a bit tight

Our vegetarian full english breakfast was made to order, it was delicious! It made the stay a much better value. The host was super friendly and accommodating. We would definitely stay again if in that area.
We thought the price was a bit high. The mattress was thin with solid wood underneath...though we slept well. It was also a bit of a drive to get to Canterbury. Prices were high everywhere in that area though.

Margaret was a great host, cooking us a late breakfast after we had returned from Whitstable parkrun. Seemed quite expensive though and an extra £15 for our dog.

Great breakfast and lovely host

Fantastic B&B 👍 the room was very spacious, which suited for us as we stopped here for 6 nights.
location was great, not to far away from everything,
Even a bus stop at the end of the road.
Breakfast was excellent 😁 full up everyday.
Margaret the owner, lovely lovely lady,
Very chatty and very friendly 😁
Definitely would come back 😁

The place is very quiet, lovely and it has an average cool privacy feeling about it. The owner is a lovely gentle and helpful and very kind lady. Breakfast was served with very delicious food and fresh drinks. Room was big and clean , just what you need
It might be a bit difficult to find as it is located on a very narrow and sided country street
Sometimes you can hear too much noise from other rooms

It was lovely. The room was well fitted out, comfortable and airy. Margaret, the hostess, was very welcoming. I was spending the weekend with our family dog, going to Kent dog beaches, and this location was central. Whitstable, Reculver and Margate West - dog and I had a great time. We walked through the fields on the public footpage to the Red Lion for supper (he had a plain burger) and sat outside, watching the world go by. A great weekend.
Everything was fine.

The lady was very tentative and seriously I can not fault the place and how I was made to feel. Absolute value for money. If in the area again I will stay here.
TV signal poor but I wasn't there to watch TV

Great Host, friendly!

Good breakfast. Although semi-rural, it was just a few minutes from Herne Bay and easy access to other holiday locations. Very clean, and comfortable bed.
Driveway entrance has a bit of a dip that needs filling in.

very tired interior. beds past their sell by date.

Very friendly nice breakfast
It was a warm night but the heating was on, so the room was too hot and so was the dining room, the carpet in the room had a lot of old coffee stains and the property was a bit tired with worn carpets, dispute coffee stains etc the room was clean and I would use again!

Breakfast was tasty and cooked to order.
The owner ( Margaret) was very friendly and helpful.
Bathroom looked a bit tired, damaged toilet roll holder.

Property was clean and comfortable with a good breakfast and host Margaret made you feel welcome. She happily got up early to provide a full cooked breakfast so we could get away early as we were going to the open golf championship.
Decor looks tired and furnishings in need of an upgrade.

The owner was very welcoming and breakfast was good. We'll situated for Herne Bay,Whitstable and good access to visit further along North Kent coast.
Considering they had been closed due to Covid the bathroom kickboard had peeling paint strips ,skirtingboards were very dusty, staircase was very dusty. Door to room stuck badly and if I'd been a single person I would not have been able to open door to the room to get in or out. The wardrobe door wouldn't shut properly and kept coming open. The entry porch had very worn carpet so not very welcoming. Details like this could have been rectified during Lockdown. Many stairs so not suitable for disabled.

Readily accommodated our request for veggie breakfast.
Whilst the host was pleasant and readily accommodated our request for a veggie breakfast the accommodation was very 'tired' looking. I understand that after lock down during covid that no income meant redecorating is hard but the grass was about a foot tall, there were cobwebs in lots of places and our shower was heavily limescaled. Limescale removal is cheap and cobwebs just need cleaning, grass cutting. A little effort can go a long way, no excuse after being shut for so long, the place should have been spotless.
