Clean comfortable basic accommodation for a very good price
A bit of a hike from the car park to the accommodation

Quiet on-suite room with a work station. Linen, bedding & towels provided. Very clean. Access to a spotless kitchen that has a kettle, microwave, fridge/freezer, table & chairs and a cooker. Everything else you need to bring, just like a student. Security is great as are the staff; very helpful. Free parking and gym. What’s not to like.
The directional signs around campus are difficult to read at night. A torch is advisable. Mattress could have been better; more suitable for children or young lightweight adults.

The area is characterized by a considerable amount of tranquillity, facilitating our work without any disruptions.
Carrying 3 luggage and walking in the cold for 15-18 minutes is not a good experience. They should have provided a vehicle within campus for external customers like me.

Friendly, welcoming, clean and fresh.
Got backache from the bed. Room was too hot, due to noise until late had to keep my windows shut. Asked for a fan, never materialised.

Close to the campus site we was working on, wifi good
Clump of Hair in the sink plug hole, rusty radiator so couldn’t put towel on to dry , breakfast very cheap quality & wasps everywhere, NO TV & very noisy past 10pm with disrespectful screaming kids, lack of proper directions to find where to pick your keys up, no map etc

The location right on campus was ideal for my purposes, which is why I booked the room. Reception opening hours are very good. Staff were pleasant enough.
The accommodation was a drab student room with a wet room and nothing more. Other universities provide a kettle, for example, to make it more upmarket. It was very noisy, I got little sleep until 2am.
7.0
Very basic campus accommodation, but good value for money, and the room was clean. Access to a kitchen (with fridge) is very convenient. The campus is a bit off everything, public transport isn't great, but it's neverthess a good starting point for this or that expedition. The bus stop us just across the street.
Other than a couple of mugs, no equipment in the kitchen (not even a plate, a pan or dishwashing liquid).
Rooms are noisy, as doors close noisily (even if you have considerate neighbours, which all are not).
It's not super convenient to have to turn in keys on the central campus, a keybox would be great (if you travel alone, you either have to drag your luggage around or leave it alone while you're gone for 15 minutes).

This accommodation is unique. I have stayed at out-of-term University accommodation before so I knew what to expect. However, for £49 I would have least expected from the basic B&B a tv in the room, a beverage area and clearer instructions on how to get the keys....there is no "Convention Centre", you collect the room keys from the Art Exchange building within normal hours. Which if have mobility issues may present some challenges, with the Campus terrain what it is.
7.0
Ideal location, easy to access campus and well set up rather spacious room. Appreciated being able to come in, get set up and leave easily.
Breakfast was a bit hard to navigate because of the summer language camps. Either I needed to bring my own but the campus store didn't have much at all, or go to the campus venues which were very crowded.

No instructions on where to collect key as arrived at 10pm

Simple but adequate student-type accommodation right on the University campus. Affordable, clean, convenient. Shower and bathroom ensuite. Nice feature: several rooms share a common kitchen with fridge, microwave, etc.

The cost and difference of accommodation.
A little further away than I thought but manageable.
10.0
It’s very different to a traditional hotel or bed and breakfast. Yes there is some noise from students and visitors, and you’ve got to be prepared to put in the steps to get anywhere. However there is lots of energy and good vibe around campus.
Nothing to really dislike. You get what you pay for.
9.0
Good value for money and the parking was free
It was noisy when loads of students kept walking past the window, but I guess this is to be expected at University and since I was on the ground floor.
6.7
Good option if you attend a conference/event at the university as it is just 3-5 min away..
Otherwise it is a basic, standard student room/uni accommodation with facilities like kettle etc. in shared common area.
Very helpful staff. Being able to store luggage at the reception on campus from 8 am (not at the accommodation) was very useful. Good breakfast.
You can't call it a charming place with the room and common spaces that could do with a bit of refurbishing and replacing worn pieces/doors/wallpapers/paint, but overall you know what to expect when you book this place.
8.8
Value for money
V clean
Cheap cafeteria and good food
Lovely surroundings
Lots of trees and open spaces
No sit chair
No coffee tea making facilities
