You have to check out Oasis Bacalar for your stay in Bacalar

I personally loved the gardens and all the vegetation in the courtyard. The murals were another personal favourite. Everything was lush, clean and tidy, artistically influenced with murals, the pool was great, the loungers were very comfortable and made of wood not plastic, the room was well appointed and very fresh and clean. The bed and linens were comfortable also. Views from our suite, on the second floor, overlooked the beautiful gardens. The recycling systems were spot on and greatly appreciated. The staff are very friendly, speak good English, offering good advice about places to go, activities, pricing and restaurant referrals . We are planning to return

Accueil et personnel au top. Avec indication des points d’interêt, resto, laverie et autres sur carte.

La moustiquaire est arrachée sur la cabane, pas de moustiquaires au dessus des lits. Propreté du sol. N’avons pas reçu la suite réservée mais une cabane, très chouette dans l’idée mais avec les nombreuses fêtes et discothèques… impossible de dormir

Great staff, convenient location.

The property is conveniently located about one block from the lagoon and about two blocks from the town’s central plaza. There are many restaurants within easy walking distance. If you arrive on the ADO bus, take a taxi to get to the hotel. You can walk, but it’s hot and far. The staff is very accommodating and arranged for my departure taxi to Chetumal to pick me up at 7 in the morning. They also gave me a map of the town.

The only thing the hotel lacks is a view of the lagoon. But you can walk to a nearby restaurant that has one in minutes.

Very ample 2 bedroom apartment, with good air conditioner.

Before checkin it rained and they left some windows open, so some pillows were wet. But was solved quickly.

Great choice , lovely stay.

staff really nice, excellent location and loved the pool. we had a suite which is an excellent spacious choice for a family The garden is very tranquil and well kept, it is a little oasis of calm near the centre of the town. Communcation between Oasis and myself was excellent right from the start.

What about putting a communal washing line up in a discrete sunny spot.?

Awesome place to spend time!

Great location! I been a few times to bacalar and this place is by far the best one I've stayed at the only one I found with a full kitchen and enormous rooms, great pool, super clean. Highly recommended to big families or small.

Amazing … would 100% recommend

Great hotel with super friendly staff and amazing location with all the facilities you will need. Beds are very comfortable and the apartment was very clean and homely. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is going to Bacalar and wants to have a hassle free holiday with everything just right. Thanks Steven for your superb hospitality.

Perfect stay in bacalar

Located In one of the best parts of town in bacalar, period. One block from the lake, quiet at night, but within walking distance of the center. The pool is a huge bonus. The room has great ac, fans, full kitchen. Just perfect.

Perfect location - quick walk to main square of this truly magical town. Greeted upon arrival with genuine warmth by the owner (Stephen) and his lovely staff. Beautiful smiles from everyone! Room was perfect, down to the smallest detail. Really appreciated the huge water jug, real coffee maker with plenty of real coffee, cream and sugar. So, so peaceful with the soothing sounds of chickens, a turkey, and even the cooing of a peacock from the neighbor's yard! Thank you for this amazing experience!

Pretty and well located apartment in paradise

- very spacious room with fully equipped kitchen - free drinking water

- unfortunately, there was loud music coming from the neighbourhood every night - the friendly staff could not properly advise on basic requests (kayaks and bikes)

Superb

The staff was really friendly, location was ideal and the room was comfortable. We liked the concrete style. Also we could park our car right in front of the hotel.

I know it's not the hotels fault but it still ruined our first two nights - family with small kids lived under our appartment and they started to make mess around 7 am which is not the time you want to wake up on the vacation😬
