Absolutely outstanding. Luxury for low cost - never been anywhere so amazing. It even smelt amazing on arrival. Offered free Prosecco, amazing staff, amazing room. Out of this world, truly. The best hotel we’ve ever stayed at
No parking but there was convenient parking nearby

Probably my favourite hotel in Manchester. Lovely rooms, perfect location, lovely staff. It’s been me go-to Manchester hotel for many years.

Atmosphere, balcony was amazing. Lovely bathroom, comfy bed. Nice decor.
The room needed a bit of tlc and there were some very noisy neighbours.

Great price for the location, right near the station and on canal street, close to centre and bars etc. Beautifully designed and modern, very clean. Enjoyed a welcome drink offered by reception staff. Fully stocked mini bar with pricing clearly stated, coffee machine and kettle. Bed was comfortable and very big. Reception allowed us to delay checkout at last minute for an additional charge. Shower was clean, large and pleasant to use. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Surprisingly quiet considering the location.
Not much to say other than the sink had some kind of blockage causing slow drainage and room was slightly smaller than expected for an upgraded room, however all round impressed and will stay again :)

All was good maybe thiner bed blanket for summer heat
Door slamming at 5.00 am on Sunday maybe some door soft close door stoper ?

Great room. On the 1st floor and there was absolutely no issue with the sound. Very comfy bed and pillows, and the room was huge. And location is perfect as well.
Could have a breakfast option at the hotel as opposed to a hamper. But no complaints really.

The room I stayed in was bigger than the normal hotel room and had a luxurious in aesthetic yet humble in character feel to it. The hotel is based in the heart of Manchester overlooking the canal on a popular party street. The room has a good size bed and was very comfy. Bathroom was stunning very modern with a big rainfall shower with no problems to the pressure or the temperature.
I booked a room that stated party package therefore assumed I would receive a little something extra, however all I got was party music in my room from the downstairs bar until 2am therefore If your a light sleeper the noise from the bar, street and neighbouring clubs can cause an issue, I was provided with earplugs and it made very little difference. It was underwhelming and misleading naming the room King Room - Party Package as I booked the room thinking I was getting at least something extra and didn't. I also feel that every room should have water to drink included especially if your paying a premium. It would also be good to provide your guests with some generic biscuits to go with a cup of tea and instructions on how to use the coffee machine. It's these little touches that can turn a good stay into a great one. For me value for money felt a bit short coming as you can get another hotel room in Manchester for the same price that includes breakfast.

It’s a grey central location in the heart of the canal street. Those who doesn’t like to party this may not be the best location! Windows are not sound proof!
Friendly and welcoming staff!
The hotel is a it worn out, one room safe didn’t work, the other room shower drain wasn’t draining properly… some stains on bed sheets. High prices come with high expectations but reality is below the expectations. However their kind and thoughtful approach to their guests leaves me with a lot of hope! I wish every hotel was as nice as this one in dealing with short falls!

Loved the style, location & the friendly, professional staff

Really nice hotel on the edge of the Manchester Gay Village area and just a few minutes walk from Piccadilly station and Piccadilly Gardens. Room was quire large and well furnished. Staff friendly and helpful.
Only breakfast option is a continental delivered to your room. Restaurant not open Monday and Tuesday.

The hotel and room was beautiful, as was the bathroom. The balcony was great and overlooked the canal. Bed was very comfortable.
No slippers in room or other amenities expected in a 4 star hotel, such as shower cap, slippers and complimentary water. Two coffee pods provided, so one each.
We asked reception for some salt (due to a tooth issue) and were told that request would be “very difficult” to fulfil.
Noise from amorous neighbours at night and banging next morning was not ideal.

Good location close to the station. Extremely helpful and pleasant staff. Very comfortable bed.
Our first room had lighting that did not facilitate reading in bed. When requested our room was changed.

Great place. Would come again.
Cleaners kept just walking in 30 mins prior to check put time and continued to apologise but then do it again 5 minutes after.

Lovely big bed , bathroom clean
TV didn't work

Stones throw from Piccadilly St, very pleasant staff, easy check in,
Bed was very comfortable
They take a 50 pound deposit as you check in, still waiting for it back, this is not mentioned anywhere.
Room could have been cleaner, also quite shabby, bathroom in need of attention

* Hot water went off - was told boiler wasn’t working
* When we called reception twice it went to the brassiere next door first
* headboard has loads of chips in - looks scruffy
* extremely noisy hotel. Could hear people walking in their rooms above us. At 2-3am sounded like somebody was having a party in their room
* brassiere next door, food was shocking. Calamari not cooked properly, batter was not crispy which was the same for the fish and chips. Starters were cold. Only one server working. Limited to the Sunday menu also which had no choice on it

The room was spectacular and location great

Stopped there many times always a lovely experience

The hotel is beautiful and our room was fantastic. We loved the enormous bath, Molton Brown toiletries and comfy bed. Being offered a glass of fizz on arrival was a nice touch.
We were kept awake until 4am by noisy room neighbours. This was eventually dealt with by staff, but ruined our stay. Being parents of a toddler we were banking on 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep. Instead we managed 3 hours of disturbed sleep.

Staff were outstanding, rooms was beautiful and food in the restaurant was superb

Excellent room and very comfortable bed.
No milk in the fridge or elsewhere for morning coffee.
4.3
Excellent location, rooms are nicely refurbished
Air con was broken, and the heat was stuck on. Hotel staff provided us with a fan but didn’t send anyone to fix it. It was a pretty unbearable stay.
4.3
Excellent room with comfortable bed and cheap bar

Great location, close to the train station. Luxury room booked for our special wedding anniversary. Fantastic quality toiletries. Glass of Prosecco on arrival was a lovely touch. Comfiest bed and pillows we’ve ever slept on.
The prices of items in the mini bar

Stylish hotel in a very vibrant part of town. If vibrant is not your thing, you may want to stay elsewhere. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff.
The best from the music in a nearby bar went on until late in the night on Saturday. But hey, that was just an invitation to join the fun.

Very nice room and kind service!
Ok, but not so healthy breakfast

Central location. Staff were so helpful and friendly.
My room was a little tired.

It was absolutely stunning, from lighting to the beautiful design, staff were very polite and welcoming. Nice view of street lights down below, massive TV, custom fan settings for the whole accommodatiom. VERY comfortable bed and high ceilings. Just wish we could've stayed longer.
Bath took ages to fill, wasn't so clear on snack prices (as list was hidden behind crisps in the basket), the blinds also shut randomly without our knowledge and didn't know how to open them again. Water in shower was cold and couldn't turn it up any higher. Also no milk to go with the coffee (would've had to call downstairs for it but only stayed one night and had to be out by 11am and couldn't wake up which is more of a positive on the comfort of the bed). Lights weren't very versatile- if we wanted the room lights on the lounge part would also have to be on. Really getting petty here but bin liners weren't secured to the edge of the bin so basically fell beneath the rubbish, felt bad for the cleaning staff.

greeted by a lovely man who offered us with a welcome drink … the air con in our room had broken so was rather warm we phoned down to reception and they came right up and instantly moved us to suite room with amazing air con nothing was a problem … i can honestly say it was one of the comfiest beds i have spelt in .. bonus electric blinds so didn’t even have to get out of bed to open them … view over the canal was amazing .. bar was fantastic with amazing cocktails … can’t sit to go back ..

location
the room was tired and in need of attention.
dirty windows - actually filthy, moss and mould encrusted windows, chipped and cracked tiles in bathroom, broken / cracked bedside lampshade, dirt on bedhead, noisy vent in bathroom that could not be turned off. likewise the air conditioning rattled so much that we couldn’t use it.
The receptionist when we checked in was brilliant. welcoming, friendly, smily and engaged. full marks there.
when checking out though, another member of staff was clearly on autopilot. when he asked how the stay was, I paused..my “hmmm” didn’t prompt him to ask for details and instead he carried on with the checking out spiel and return of the deposit up to 5 working days and that was that.
I left.
