Petit déjeuner au top. Chambre bien décorée et propre. Hôtel calme.
Pas de télévision. Celle qui est à côté de la réception ne propose qu'une seule chaîne.

Carefully renovated old traditional house with a pleasant pool area at the heart of the Djerbahood quarter.
4.5 / 5.0
Beautiful Dar in the centre of Djerba, cool pool with good drinks and cocktails
The restaurant is totally average. For the price you pay, the quality is a scam.
The reception desk could provide more specific and detailed information, rather than “there are nice beaches everywhere”, when they are not accessible in some of the cases and in other cases the beaches are crowded and more for mass tourism.

Original folklorik architecture and interior design
Occasional noise from streets or cleaning staff in the morning

Old house nicely maintained and decorated with taste. Professional staff. In a pleasant neighborhood.

The decor and comforts were outstanding.
The property is on an island with spotty and unreliable cell service, and the hotel only provides wifi in the lobby. Wifi needs to be available in all suites

it was just wonderful, quite clean and comfortable. I felt very much at home. I could truly relax, read and really enjoyed the all experience a lot.

architecture and overall atmosphere were stunning.
the pool was small but definitely large enough for us as not many people were staying there during the off-season.
All the staff was very friendly and helpful, especially the man who was at the reception during the day (Can't remember his name)
My favourite moment: we arrived on the early flight from Tunis and sat down in the lobby after a tiring and exhausting journey, and without us even mentioning it, he brought us two cups of coffee whilst we waited to check in. True hospitality.
The bed was too hard for our liking.
The breakfast selection was a bit monotonous, and, personally, we wished it would have been a bit more 'Tunisian', eg maybe some Tunisian bread, Shakshuka, or some Bsissa (even though I am aware that that would mean hiring a cook for the breakfast, which is probably just not feasible).
I would have appreciated some more Ramadan-relevant knowledge about the opening hours of restaurants and cafes as nobody was able to give us a definitive answer.
It should be made more clear how, where, and how much to tip the staff and how these tips would be distributed between employees.

The owner of the hotel was very kind and helpful, and welcomed warmly to Djerba. We were travelling the whole day through the mountains in between Tozeur and Matmata so we were exhausted. She made us feel home immediately, and addresses us to the best restaurants in the area as well as told us the story of the Dar inside Djerbahood. The area is so cool, full of graffiti and art. The Dar is super curated in every detail. Highly recommend!

A wonderful traditional Dar, with beautiful courtyards, the perfect place to relax and unwind, our room was beautiful designed, very warm, made us feel like home. Dinner in the restaurant was absolutely delicious and the service in the hotel perfect! The village is beautiful too with a lot of artwork in the streets, nice shops and coffee houses, a treat for heart and soul! We’ll be back!

beautiful dar with many nice places to relax and take in the sun or look at the stars. amazing staff as well!
Djerbahood is great during the day but very quiet at night. the restaurant is much better than the reviews state but still wouldn’t want to eat there more than one night.

We enjoyed the breakfast, the well decorated and comfortable rooms, the inner courtyards, and hotel common areas. We also enjoyed that it was very quiet and serene. Further, we enjoyed the hotel cocktails, by the pool.
We thought the restaurent left something to be desired - the service was ok, however the menu choices and preparation were underwhelming. We also found the food simple and overpriced for what was being served.

Not only the place is fantastic. Walking around the hotel is a bit of walking into a Medina. We really really enjoyed all the facilities. The hotel is just beautiful beyond words and the owner was very helpful, kind and amazing. Thanks for the experience.

Clean rooms and pools. Beautiful architecture and design.
Restaurant was traditional but high-end (similar to Dar el Jeld in Tunis). Food/price was 3.75/5. Open for lunch and dinner. Certain dishes require advanced notice. Good cocktail bar.
Unfortunately our group spoke limited/beginner French and Arabic, though staff is patient with language barriers and speaks moderate-level English.
Centrally located - staff was helpful in arranging a taxi to travel with us for the day to explore the island.
Wifi only in lobby. Cellular data connection is good throughout the property.
Itemized and transparent pricing.
The AC in our suite was more like a fan. We travelled in September and the AC was sufficient to keep the room temperatures from being uncomfortable. It is the desert, two pools, AC in the hotel is cool and the architecture of the property is conducive to cooling/airflow (high ceilings, small windows, whitewashed/stucco interiors and exteriors, spacious rooms and courtyards).
Bathroom 7.5/10 - tub fixtures are a bit dated comparative to the rest of the property.
Large, ornate wood and metal front doors keep out local cats

need maintenance, it can be seen that it is used a lot, there are things that are starting to get worse so it must be maintained to keep it successful

Gorgeous decor! Great location to explore the area. Dinner here was our best meal in Djerba! Really enjoyed my stay!
Guests might want to know that there is no wi-fi in the room itself, only in reception common area.

Starwars was filmed there. Staying in caves was sorta cool. It was incredibly clean.
It was just way too Starwarish, took the authenticity away. The food was mediocre (especially breakfast, just yogurt and a packed muffin). At 40 euro or so i wouldn't complain, but at 92 it was grossly overpriced. But the worst, when we arrived THEY WOULDN'T ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS. I had to use my last 100 euros to pay, and then I had to chase him down to get change. And even once we finally agreed on 24 dinar change, he short-changed me by 1 dinar. It just left a bad taste in my mouth.

The location, no restaurant in the neighborhood, big problem of parking. The price is very expensive, even the prices of they own restaurant.

Dar Dhiafa is a gorgeous hotel. I had a wonderful 3-night stay there. The stay are lovely and were very helpful with arranging taxis and helping me plan where to go. I really appreciated the small pool as it was extremely hot when I was there. Very good value for money compared to some other places I stayed in Tunisia. The village of Erriadh is nice and relaxed and the street art is fantastic; it's easy to get a taxi to the beach or Houmt Souk.
Would definitely recommend!

Absolutely beautiful accommodation & the location is superb in the heart of Djerbahood. Highly recommend for first time visitors to the island. The staff is fantastic and the amenities are wonderful.

Dar Dhiafa is simply splendid. The amazing interiors combined with the simplicity of the djerbian architecture really make the hotel’s atmosphere magical. The two swimming pools, various courtyards, the possibility of having a drink beside the pools or under a bougainville participate to this feeling. The staff and owner of the hotel are both friendly and very helpful. The room my partner and I shared was very clean, tastefully decorated and spacious. We also had one of our dinners there - the menu offers several options suitable for all tastes. We had a very good Tunisian Chardonnay (recommended!) and delicious fish.
