Hotel di lusso un po' invecchiato, ma con buon value for money

Hotel in una zona comoda. Davanti alla metro e di fianco ad un grande centro commerciale. Non ho avuto grandi problemi di comunicazione. Colazione con buona varietà.

Hotel di lusso, ma un po' invecchiato. Avevo una camera con accesso alla lounge. Il personale è gentile, ma la disponibilità di bevande e snack limitata.

Très bon hôtel avec accès MTR à 50 mètres.

Excellent petit déjeuner varié. Lit très confortable, Salle de bain bien équipée avec produits de qualité.

Le Wifi pas toujours stable. Odeur résiduelle de cigarette dans la chambre. Restaurant chinois n'accepte plus de client à 20h30 un vendredi.

Luxury hotel? I don't think so. Never again.

Room was big, bed comfy, breakfast.

No one at the reception could speak decent English. Neither at the bar. I'm not talking about "let us discuss Joyce's work" English, I'm talking about "can we have some fries" or "can you make an invoice with this company name on it". Nothing. Absolutely zero. They tried their best with some apps, and I appreciate the effort. But it's still unacceptable. The bar had has pay drinks the moment they put it on the table, as if we were going to run away for those 10$. The room stinks of cigarette smoke and is not sparkling clean. The air conditioning during the night sounded like being in a plane. They hacked the energy saving system by putting in a card which makes sure all lights are on, for hours, prior to one's arrival. The card is MADE FOR this purpose and proudly indicates so on it, so that it's obvious the hotel has absolutely no care in the world for climate change, contrary to what the chain says on their website. All of this would have been bad but acceptable for a "normal" hotel. For a self described luxury hotel all of those points are, each one alone, unacceptable.

Concierge! simply give directions/advise how to take metro when he does not know what line to take and get off. Irresponsible! If don’t know, just say don’t know or not sure, just say so but not simply advice. Luckily, observed his incompetence and took a while to relay the information and made a quick check with the map at the station. Big exhibition being held at World Exhibition Shenzhen but hotel personnel know nuts on this event and no shuttle service being offered being managed by hotel management. Would expect a top class hotel to not miss such details. Overall hotel is still a great hotel to stay

Well priced luxury in Shenzhen

The room was generous, the towel, linens and bathrobe were all immaculate and comfortable.

A nicer coffee machine, but really the room was excellent.

Spectacular cocktails and public areas, great-sized rooms. Excellent location. Very few room service options for vegetarians .

Pool was shut for renovations, not so many vegetarian options for breakfast. Why was the mini-bar unstocked? Our arrival was well known in advance.

Affordable luxury.

The staff. Gracious and accommodating. Organised a lovely welcome for us, and helped us book when Booking.com failed, again.

Tissue paper can be of a much higher quality. Bacon can be cooked and not overdone for breakfast.

Location is great, near the metro and Coastal City mall. Hotel lobby is beautiful, with art deco style. Room is comfortable, beds are great and nice view of the city.

For a Kempinski hotel, it didn't match the standards. Looks outdated, the elevator hall smelled weird, carpets in the bathroom were too stained. No general outlet in both sides of the bed, bathroom a bit small and crammed. Furniture looks outdated too, not well kept as a hotel of this standard should do. Staff spoke barely any English at all.

Falsely advertised that there’s a sauna. It’s easy to get same quality hotels better located at a better price too. The only reason we chose this hotel was for the facilities which were supposed to include a sauna which was nonexistent.
